- [ 2018.10.19 11:42:16 ] Katie Latere > Handled.
- [ 2018.10.19 11:42:56 ] EcoRII > tnx
- [ 2018.10.19 11:43:13 ] EA Leguard > forgive me if this is redundent but if i decide to not do rush when do you guess it will take to get tehere
- [ 2018.10.19 11:44:37 ] Katie Latere > We aim for all packages to be 12h from acceptance, but it could be up to 24h if something IRL happens to the pilot. Normally we'd accept a non-rush within 24h, but right now our oldest contract has just hit 48h old.
- [ 2018.10.19 11:45:39 ] Katie Latere > (Contracts do not get delivered in order, they get delivered according to what makes sense for the pilots)
- [ 2018.10.19 11:46:07 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere ty for that explaination it helsp
- [ 2018.10.19 11:46:22 ] EA Leguard > it makes more sense ;-)
- [ 2018.10.19 11:46:38 ] EA Leguard > one more thing if i may is there any discounts going on
- [ 2018.10.19 11:47:17 ] CT-001 ARC-001 CLONE > sorry no discounts
- [ 2018.10.19 11:47:51 ] Katie Latere > Nope, we've got automated systems that check contracts have the right rewards, are within collateral limits etc. as soon as they're submitted, and our tirelessly working team of Contract Managers will get in touch with any clients/contracts that flag up on those checks.
- [ 2018.10.19 11:49:42 ] EA Leguard > i ask because as i was explaining before you came in the 3 contracts were all more than 845000m3 each so i would have to doatleast a fourth but i dont feel its right to have to pay for a 4th contract... hence the discount ide
- [ 2018.10.19 11:51:04 ] Katie Latere > It needs a fourth pilot to take a freighter out there to move it, thought. If we said to the pilots "Please go and take this contract, it's for less reward than all the other contracts" no-one would want to take it :)
- [ 2018.10.19 11:51:04 ] EA Leguard > discount idea*
- [ 2018.10.19 11:51:14 ] Katie Latere > s/thought/though/
- [ 2018.10.19 11:51:46 ] EA Leguard > ya but some pilots ship can take more then 845000m3 a trip
- [ 2018.10.19 11:52:31 ] EA Leguard > so your max m3 limit forces me to have to make a 4th at my expesnse if i understand you right
- [ 2018.10.19 11:53:43 ] EcoRII > 845m3 is the upper limit so even a fenrir pilot can take it
- [ 2018.10.19 11:53:45 ] Katie Latere > We don't haul any contracts over 845k m^3, that's right.
- [ 2018.10.19 11:53:55 ] EcoRII > 1.5b is the limit to avoid gank
- [ 2018.10.19 11:53:59 ] Katie Latere > (Fenrir pilots, best pilots)
- [ 2018.10.19 11:54:05 ] Dalkhana > fenrir best rear
- [ 2018.10.19 11:54:20 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > lol
- [ 2018.10.19 11:54:41 ] EA Leguard > to avoid gank, then why do i see cva, goon, test, and code in this channel right now?
- [ 2018.10.19 11:54:47 ] darkestkhan Eriker > you *can* take more... if you fully antitank
- [ 2018.10.19 11:55:17 ] Miss Jet > they r customers too
- [ 2018.10.19 11:55:27 ] Miss Jet > you all are
- [ 2018.10.19 11:55:31 ] EcoRII > everybody use RF.
- [ 2018.10.19 11:55:34 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > hey nice job BTW getting the queue down this week
- [ 2018.10.19 11:55:54 ] darkestkhan Eriker > we (gankers) make extesnive use of rff services
- [ 2018.10.19 11:55:58 ] EA Leguard > but if someone would try to gank a freighter only those would have the pilots/skills/firepower to do so
- [ 2018.10.19 11:56:39 ] EA Leguard > only those 5 would be able to gank a freighter
- [ 2018.10.19 11:56:39 ] Katie Latere > I don't think that's true. I could probably manage a freighter gank on my own if my hauling chars ever left their freighters.
- [ 2018.10.19 11:56:46 ] darkestkhan Eriker > if you ask me how many catasd have freighted by rff... no one will be able to count
- [ 2018.10.19 11:57:22 ] darkestkhan Eriker > with a decent enough pc you can easily get setup for ganking antitanked freighters
- [ 2018.10.19 11:57:36 ] darkestkhan Eriker > need what? 14 t2 catas?
- [ 2018.10.19 11:58:12 ] darkestkhan Eriker > [plus scout + dst pilot + looter]
- [ 2018.10.19 11:58:39 ] EA Leguard > im just saying politely monitioring those 5 in this channel would make it safer then using a max m3 limit in my opionion "whatever its worth"
- [ 2018.10.19 11:59:06 ] darkestkhan Eriker > just so you know rff does only private contracts
- [ 2018.10.19 11:59:25 ] Dalkhana > RF contracts are all private, so if you don't link your contract in here, no one but you and RF know about it. Trying to state otherwise is just trolling or poor knowledge of game mechanics.
- [ 2018.10.19 11:59:30 ] darkestkhan Eriker > so unless someone posts full details in chat no one but rff knows volume or route
- [ 2018.10.19 11:59:35 ] Katie Latere > Nothing gets said in this channel that really helps a ganker in terms of intel. We assume that everyone is a CODE. etc. alt, whatever corp the toon we're talking to is in.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:00:56 ] Katie Latere > We discourage people posting their contracts here, but TBH even that doesn't help /that/ much, because knowing that RFF will have a freighter going through Niarja is the next couple of days doesn't say much. There's plenty of other freighters going through.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:01:12 ] darkestkhan Eriker > beside why specifically go after rff pilots when so many feighters with way too much value goes through U or N
- [ 2018.10.19 12:02:58 ] EA Leguard > U or N?
- [ 2018.10.19 12:02:59 ] Katie Latere > You missed the part where RFF pilots are the most lovely people in New Eden, and everyone should want to help them :p
- [ 2018.10.19 12:03:06 ] Katie Latere > Uedama or Niarja. Ganking chokepoints.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:03:16 ] darkestkhan Eriker > EA Leguard beside tell me how would your monitoring of someppl in chat help when anyone can join it, incluidng 1 day old alts
- [ 2018.10.19 12:03:30 ] darkestkhan Eriker > uedama, niarja
- [ 2018.10.19 12:06:09 ] EA Leguard > those 2 systems ya they are bad but there are more to avoid
- [ 2018.10.19 12:06:34 ] darkestkhan Eriker > you can't realistically avoid them
- [ 2018.10.19 12:06:49 ] darkestkhan Eriker > if someone wants somethign moved from jita to hek or amarr you will have to go through them
- [ 2018.10.19 12:07:00 ] EA Leguard > as to monitioring chat it would be hard to explain to you if your not here in person talking to me outside the game
- [ 2018.10.19 12:07:04 ] darkestkhan Eriker > unless you suggest going through rancer but that is even more suicidal
- [ 2018.10.19 12:07:55 ] Katie Latere > I would guess that 75% of all routes go through U or N.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:08:24 ] EA Leguard > as i dont work for red frog i wont presume to tell you what systems to go thorugh or not go through
- [ 2018.10.19 12:08:24 ] Katie Latere > (And they're impossible to avoid)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:08:24 ] darkestkhan Eriker > EA Leguard if they were to avoid going therough U or N then they would have to give up too many conmtarcts...
- [ 2018.10.19 12:09:02 ] EA Leguard > again i dont work for red frog so i wont say which systems to go through or not
- [ 2018.10.19 12:13:22 ] darkestkhan Eriker > my advice would be : sepratae business from personal opinion
- [ 2018.10.19 12:13:37 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > and my 5 cents comment .. just think about it : intel works both ways..
- [ 2018.10.19 12:14:41 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > i think RFF is very safe, for what i do anyway i still think the service is even too cheap :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:15:27 ] EA Leguard > Madpuff Dragonmagic i agree intel does go both ways however too cheap i disagree with
- [ 2018.10.19 12:16:11 ] EA Leguard > darkestkhan Eriker when your hualing your opionion is your business and cant be seperated
- [ 2018.10.19 12:17:14 ] Katie Latere > For cheapness, I tend to think that as you can get 50m/hr for AFK orbiting a rock in Null, anything where a pilot makes less than 50m/hr is cheap :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:17:26 ] EA Leguard > i do not want to make rff my enemy, so i will just say its possible to avoid spefic systems how i wont argue with you upon.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:17:48 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > ok : you can find routes that would generate 200 mil profit on a freight hub to hub
- [ 2018.10.19 12:18:04 ] Katie Latere > I think if you know something we don't, we'd love to hear it. How would one get from Jita to Hek, for example, without going through U, N or LS :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:18:06 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere yet here you are hualing not "orbiting a rock" :-)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:18:16 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > i just don't start using RFF to do that because it would fill up the queue too fast :p
- [ 2018.10.19 12:18:56 ] Katie Latere > Indeed, I love the RFF community. But I orbit rocks too.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:19:06 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > and i wanted to thank RFF...starting to do business with you.. this month got me up to director of industry and logistics in my corp :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:19:40 ] Katie Latere > And you're welcome :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:19:44 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > this means.. i should have a mean to do regular drops from WH
- [ 2018.10.19 12:20:16 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > but with 2 or 3 times the value per m3
- [ 2018.10.19 12:20:36 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > and more people to find closer connections to amarr means more rush contracts :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:21:39 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere i do know something you dont but as i dont work for red frog it wouldn't be right to tell you not being my ceo
- [ 2018.10.19 12:22:43 ] EA Leguard > as you are currently not my ceo* forgive the grammar/mispelling
- [ 2018.10.19 12:24:34 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > wow.. 1.5 bil flush this morning!
- [ 2018.10.19 12:24:54 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > one more contract and it's complementary from another route of mine
- [ 2018.10.19 12:26:54 ] EA Leguard > i do not work for push or anyone else at this time, i just work for myself right now
- [ 2018.10.19 12:30:04 ] Sool Nera > Madpuff Dragonmagic do you work for red frog?
- [ 2018.10.19 12:30:15 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > there.. this new contract could be done in a DST if you'd like
- [ 2018.10.19 12:30:28 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > no i provide them about 10 contracts weekly though :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:30:28 ] Katie Latere > Unless someone in here is in-corp, they don't work for Red Frog.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:30:34 ] Katie Latere > We have alts, but we never talk with them in here.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:31:01 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere that is one good idead security wise
- [ 2018.10.19 12:31:05 ] Sool Nera > that makes sense, i'd just like to ask someone some questions
- [ 2018.10.19 12:33:44 ] EA Leguard > does redfrog website publicly show current wait time for contracts?
- [ 2018.10.19 12:33:44 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > i'm really here to post when i setup rush contracts, or just to say good things about the great service provided ;)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:34:03 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > yeah it does show it
- [ 2018.10.19 12:34:28 ] Katie Latere > EA Leguard It shows information on the current contracts we have assigned to us, but that's not the same as saying how long one will take, as the 'queue' isn't processed in order.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:34:58 ] EA Leguard > and to maybe watch "other corps" that happen to be in this channel already
- [ 2018.10.19 12:36:53 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere yes thats why im asking in here before i make any hualing contracts from this moment forward i would like to be able to know as close as exactly just how long they would take
- [ 2018.10.19 12:37:32 ] EA Leguard > that said i dont work for u and the contracts are theoritical until made
- [ 2018.10.19 12:38:22 ] Katie Latere > As I say, the queue is processed according to where pilots are, etc., so I don't know how long something would take. The only guarantee is that it will be less than 4 days (3 days acceptance and 1 day delivery), but it is very unusual for a contract to take anything like that much.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:38:22 ] EA Leguard > granted thats not considering factors beyond your control*
- [ 2018.10.19 12:38:47 ] Katie Latere > That said, we're coming out of a busy period, and most of the contracts in the queue are between 24 and 48 hours old at the moment.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:39:45 ] EA Leguard > no ooffense intend to you but thats very similar to what pushx said and they let me contracts expire
- [ 2018.10.19 12:39:49 ] Katie Latere > Contracts from Jita usually take less time than contracts to Jita, on average. Tipped contracts tend to take less time than untipped, and expanded contracts tend to take longer than non-expanded.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:40:10 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > i'm not RFF, but i can tell you my last month experience with them is mostly done withing 2 days, and rush always inside a few hours. The closer to a hub, the faster it will be taken, etc..
- [ 2018.10.19 12:40:47 ] EA Leguard > "tipped" am i correct to assume that tipping can sped up certain contracts
- [ 2018.10.19 12:41:24 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > my fist batch i made a long run (40+ jumps) not tipped.. it fell out of the queue.. but that's a single exception on dozens of contracts now
- [ 2018.10.19 12:41:37 ] Senpai Freyachan > The only way I can think of to avoid U and N together and also lowsec is to use a JF. But that just means you're in a lowsec system on the other side. And risking a lot more ISK doing so.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:41:41 ] Katie Latere > You're not going to find any RFF people in here badmouthing PushX, though, no-one's going to say "Well, you should have come to us first!" or the like. Bad stuff can happen to anyone. We've let I think about a dozen contracts expire over the last 4 years or something.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:42:26 ] EA Leguard > speed* this is the first time any of my hualing contracts have expired so please understand that since it recently happened that my mood is upset but not to yall
- [ 2018.10.19 12:43:06 ] Katie Latere > Re: Tipping.Yes, if a pilot has the choice of two contracts, and one's got a bigger reward, they may well choose that one. But we also have internal incentives for hauling older contracts, and some Frogs are just motivated to keep stuff from getting old, so it's no guarantee.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:43:23 ] Katie Latere > e.g. I think I've hauled about 60 contracts over the last two days, and every one has been the oldest in the queue.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:44:08 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere sadly 4 days ago someone that has red frog publicly in there info did say use pushx instead of red frog, granted they probally were angry at that time
- [ 2018.10.19 12:44:27 ] Chiyachan > Angry? Not at all.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:44:29 ] Chiyachan > That was me.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:44:48 ] EA Leguard > lemme grab that evemai;
- [ 2018.10.19 12:44:49 ] Chiyachan > If somebody requires a service we don't provide, I will recommend a service that will work for them.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:44:58 ] Katie Latere > That's the opposite of what I said. If we think PushX are better for someone, why wouldn't we suggest they use them?
- [ 2018.10.19 12:45:07 ] EA Leguard > yes it was Chiyachan
- [ 2018.10.19 12:45:30 ] Chiyachan > You were asking about sizes larger than 845k. I recommended PushX as they do larger.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:45:57 ] EA Leguard > i have the evemail right here with your exact words
- [ 2018.10.19 12:46:21 ] EA Leguard > good thing i save all my eve mails :_0
- [ 2018.10.19 12:46:31 ] Chiyachan > "To: EA Leguard, A Charon (Freighter) can - with maximum expanders. But this isn't a service we provide. We run at a maximum size that anyone can reach with Freighter IV and 2 expanders. I believe PushX are willing to take the additional risk and go larger though."
- [ 2018.10.19 12:46:50 ] EA Leguard > yep thats it
- [ 2018.10.19 12:47:04 ] EA Leguard > exactly
- [ 2018.10.19 12:47:21 ] EA Leguard > that exact eve mail
- [ 2018.10.19 12:48:09 ] Chiyachan > I wasn't angry when I wrote that evemail. :) You needed a service we don't provide - I recommended a service that provides what you need.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:48:46 ] EA Leguard > and yet 3 days later i have to deal with 3 expired contracts
- [ 2018.10.19 12:48:54 ] Chiyachan > Push specifically service people up to 1,125,000m3.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:49:06 ] EA Leguard > from a service a red frog reccomended
- [ 2018.10.19 12:49:50 ] EA Leguard > before i say something stupid and get banned from red frog service i best leave this channel
- [ 2018.10.19 12:49:54 ] Chiyachan > Well, that's not something I can help really, is it? They're one of the main large haulers as are we. I remain friendly with them too - having been a director there.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:50:31 ] EA Leguard > Chiyachan ah ha i knew i recognized you from not red frog 4 years ago
- [ 2018.10.19 12:50:51 ] EA Leguard > just wasnt gonna incriminate you
- [ 2018.10.19 12:51:11 ] Katie Latere > "I needed a service you don't provide, so I went to one of your competitors and I'm not happy with how that went"? :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:51:15 ] EA Leguard > im not crazy after all well atleast on that one thing
- [ 2018.10.19 12:51:38 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere thats a fair way to put it
- [ 2018.10.19 12:52:13 ] EA Leguard > now if you just say im so sorrry here is a discount all will be taken care of
- [ 2018.10.19 12:52:26 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > with this week's evacuation going on, i guess the number of hauling contract went up for all the services, right?
- [ 2018.10.19 12:52:40 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > i mean, this week cannot be taken as a regular normal week, right?
- [ 2018.10.19 12:53:10 ] Katie Latere > I mean, we will bend over backwards to try to help our clients, but there are limits, and offering a discount because our competitors didn't deliver as you'd wanted is taking things a bit far.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:53:17 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > there are bigger things going on that can affect service as.. politics, game updates coming up, stuff like that.. just saying :)
- [ 2018.10.19 12:53:19 ] EA Leguard > Madpuff Dragonmagic depends on what you call normal that word "normal" is so generic
- [ 2018.10.19 12:53:37 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > well i've been monitoring the queue for weeks
- [ 2018.10.19 12:53:47 ] Madpuff Dragonmagic > i'm just a neutral in here :p
- [ 2018.10.19 12:55:36 ] EA Leguard > Katie Latere well since it was a red frog that made the reccomendation yes you should give me a discount, that said as i know u wont i default to my previous comment "i better leave before i say something that will ban me from using red frog services
- [ 2018.10.19 12:55:42 ] Janel Khurm > I imagine you will need to speak with current competitor management to negotiate a discount on your required service that we do not provide and that they failed to provide to your satisfaction, an eve mail providing you with details who can provide a service you need that we do not supply does not count as an endorsement or otherwise of their service offering or on how successful or otherwise that service will be should you choose to use it, Red-Frog can only be responsible for its own service standards
- [ 2018.10.19 12:56:48 ] Chiyachan > Also, I do want to point out, I never "recommended" pushx. I mentioned them as a possibility that they might do the work you want. I mean, seriously. This isn't how this works. This isn't how this works at all.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:57:13 ] EA Leguard > Janel Khurm thats why i asked red frog first before talking to the reccomend service provider
- [ 2018.10.19 12:58:02 ] Chiyachan > I'm sorry that PushX didn't provide you a service. But we're separate companies and handle different types of customers. That's why I mentioned them. You asked for something specific and we don't have it. If they didn't provide the service expected, you need to complain to them. I'd recommend evemailing Cassie. He's a lovely guy and their CEO last I checked.
- [ 2018.10.19 12:58:41 ] EA Leguard > Chiyachan it counts as a reccomendation in my book and f or the 3rd time best stop arguing before i say something that would ban me from using frog services
- [ 2018.10.19 12:58:42 ] Dalkhana > At this point, I am pretty convinced the guy is trolling and he just wants someone to ship his stuff for free/discount.

- [ 2018.10.19 13:00:14 ] EA Leguard > Janel Khurm ignoring your name calling, no such thing as free!
- [ 2018.10.19 13:00:16 ] Chiyachan > I'm sorry you feel that way EA. And don't worry - we don't ban people from using our services because they upset us. Refer to the fact we service gankers.
- [ 2018.10.19 13:00:51 ] EA Leguard > Chiyachan i did talk to him and he did recognize your recommendation
- [ 2018.10.19 13:01:17 ] Katie Latere > That's not strictly true. Sometimes Directors do ban people, just not often. I have the functionality in the tools especially for that :p
- [ 2018.10.19 13:01:24 ] Janel Khurm > name calling?
- [ 2018.10.19 13:01:45 ] Chiyachan > Cassie Helio < CEO of PushX. Ask him for a discount. He'll consider it as it's his brand that let you down, not us.
- [ 2018.10.19 13:01:45 ] EA Leguard > Chiyachan yes learning that you hual for gankers is indeed interesting
- [ 2018.10.19 13:01:58 ] Chiyachan > We haul for anyone. T&Cs apply.
- [ 2018.10.19 13:03:15 ] EA Leguard > Chiyachan it may not be my place to say but i did recenlt talk to him since being in this channel and i wouldnt be inquiring about red frog services if that chat didnt end badly
- [ 2018.10.19 13:03:28 ] Chiyachan > Anyway, this was a fun and interesting chat, but I'm at work and need to pretend to work. Fly safe.
- [ 2018.10.19 13:03:38 ] Janel Khurm > Yup, if it is within the operating model and terms of service it gets hauled, RFF is a freight service not a political entity
- [ 2018.10.19 13:03:48 ] Chiyachan > If I'm needed, ask Janel or Katie to nudge me.
- [ 2018.10.19 13:04:16 ] EA Leguard > nudge :-)
