Make a software development project successful is difficult, and it is desirable to have appropriate knowledge before the project is submitted.
This study proposed a method to teach the basic flow of software development projects to beginners using game software called Minecraft.
Minecraft can build a variety of buildings using a variety of 1x1 blocks in virtual space.
Based on the waterfall model that is the basis of the software development model, the flow up to this construction is based on
(1) introduction phase, (2) request phase, (3) design phase, (4) construction phase, and (5) confirmation phase.  Divided into 5 phases.
To verify the effectiveness of the proposal process, a lecture was given to 31 students studying ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and programming.
After the course, the results and questionnaire results were analyzed.  As a result of the analysis, the proposed process had a certain effect.
In this paper, the analysis results are shown along with the effectiveness of the proposed process.
