1]-After Jim’s death to save the crew, Jim can barely function. He has PTSD and just clings to Spock without knowing. Spock isn’t sure what to do or how to even comfort Jim. Perhaps an alien invasion happens on board and Jim makes sure to protect Spock but it’s actually the other way around.

2]- Spock and Jim go to a diplomatic dinner together. Both of them realize how hot each other look without being in uniforms. They have some ‘alone’ time in someone’s office or supply closet, etc. Then they try to escape the horrid dinner together.

3]- Stuck in an alien prison.

4]- Forbidden, secret love.

5]- Jim was so tired that uniforms got mixed up.

6]- Jim is sick/hurt so Spock decides to take care of the captain since he hates the medbay but Kirk keeps dodging Spock and telling him he is fine.

7]- Kirk/Spock gets injured pretty bad on a mission and almost dies. Kirk/Spock breaks down and confesses their love to Kirk/Spock but they don’t know how to react. Kirk/Spock gets too over protective over them when they have missions and gets pretty obsessive about them not dying.

8] - Jim secretly wishes he was dead. They are depressed and have suicidal thoughts. It doesn't help with the PTSD. They like to take the edge off by arguing with Spock and going on missions with that person, in which results in Kirk behaving impulsively and with self destruction. Spock has had enough and wants it to stop or they are through.

9]- Spock and Jim run off somewhere to hide out as outlaws on some alien planet that the ship crashed into.

10]- The Enterprise has crash landed. Spock and Jim go around trying to find survivors of the Enterprise. Thing is, Jim is secretly wounded and doesn’t tell Spock about it.

11]- Jim sleepwalks. Spock is not sure what to do or think about it.

12]- One of them or both, is dealing with a psychotic break.

13]- Spock or Jim, possibly both,  develops a bad habit.

14]- One of them, or all, has an illness & keeps it a secret. (Mental illness, addiction, chronic illness, or cancer, etc)

15]- Some kind of new virus hits the captain and crewman. The virus acts as an emotional one. People have the same memories but act without a mask. People are rude when they should not be, love confessions are spilled, etc. The shocker however is Kirk flinching at people’s touches and yelling.  Everyone expects him to be more flirty and macho man material but he is the opposite. He is shy, not confident and voices self disgust. Spock tries to understand what’s going on with kirk while also trying to get a hold of their own problems.

16]- AU where Kirk is mentally ill. Starfleet, the Enterprise, etc is everything his mind made up to cope. Spock is his doctor.
They fall in love but it’s forbidden because doctors and patients aren’t supposed to love each other.
Or, they could both be patients. Spock building off of Kirk’s fantasy so together they live it out.

17]- Something centered around TOS or Mirror verse.

18]- Something more canon-esque.

19]- Kirk is kidnapped and tortured. Is gone for a year. He randomly shows up on the Enterprise. When he comes back, he isn’t exactly himself.

20]- Spock has been acting offish lately, and Jim must figure out what's wrong with them since they won’t really talk about it.


21]- Kirk has become an alcoholic. Whom has to be drunk all the time, even on missions. One day, Jim is extremely drunk as they get called into a mission. Something goes horribly wrong and Kirk almost cost Spock’s life. The man is severely injured but lives. Jim never leaves Spock’s side since they feel guilty for it.

22]- The other makes a deal with the enemy to save that person.
