  1. I know a lot of people were pretty confused about the Redstoner ending as well as the overall story, so I wanted to clear things up and hope to explain it for you guys. Now what I want to make clear to everyone is that Redstoner was a series created by Ross and up until the final 3 episodes of the first season, there was no story. There wasn't a lot of material we could work with in terms of creating a story, so we took it in a different direction. You can tell in the earlier episodes how there was no plot progression and it was pretty much just Ross building these contraptions. That's why the final 3 episodes including Barney, Jin and Sky are some of the more crucial episodes to the story. Pilots disease is a bit of a pain in the butt.

  3. Now, to explain the story. Ross is trapped in an infinite loop. The line "Took you longer this time around." Which was spoken by Sky in the series finale was very important, hinting that he has seen Ross in this same situation before. When Sky is explaining the doors to Ross he is misleading him to believe that the door on the left will lead him to an ending that he wants instead of leaving the world he is in behind and finally escaping. Every time Ross enters the door on the left, the timeline is reset. Forever trapping him in a world where Ross repeats his actions over and over again. In episode 7 of season two, we get a glimpse of someone trying to pull Ross out of the hell he is in. The blue messages only appear when Shelby speaks, which shows Shelby is the one trying to help him. One of the difficulties of telling the story of Redstoner, was telling it through little snippets of text, which also shows the only conflict that was happening was all in Ross' head. The "demon" was indeed Sky, and he was toying with Ross from the very beginning. As long as Ross kept his eyes closed, the red sun would control his actions and he would continue to hurt the people he cared about. The moments Ross tries to fight back are the moments he opens his eyes. When Ross opens the door on the left he is sent into a barren wasteland with only a chest filled with random supplies. If you look a bit more carefully, the supplies in the chest are actually everything Ross needs to build the Calculadder. Thus, having Ross repeat the timeline all over again. Not all endings are happy ones.

  5. As a lot of you were asking, yes, M.O.D.S. Does stand for "Max, Okward Industries, Danny (or Darthalgno) and Shelby." Danny (or Darthalgno) was a demon sent from Sky to keep an eye over Ross. When Ross got possessed in that episode Danny's Demon form was shown for a brief moment.

  7. If anyone has any other questions that I didn't cover here, please feel free to ask. I had so much fun making this story with Ross and I hope you all enjoyed the ride that was Redstoner!
