  1. Wow, this is a tough one...
  2.
  3. Okay, well first of all, I typically prefer larger dogs and with longer fur, so let's start there.
  4. Huskies, Samoyeds and Malamutes all have about the right size, but I only really like the fur length of the former. Although they all have a similar face shape that I think is ideal. For the fur length, something closer to to a German Shepard would be best. Speaking of Sheps, I think their tails are great and much better for larger dogs anyway, especially if they're a bit more powerful and well-built, which is also something I prefer. I also really like the much more natural brown and black colours of their fur, but I think Akitas have the best colours overall, with plenty of natural hues but also distinctive patterns that make them appealing pets.

  6. For personality, I really don't think you can beat a Labrador. I love the one we have, and they're wonderfully intelligent and playful. Huskies are great in that regard too, but they tend to have a bit of attitude and whine loudly when they're not in a good mood. Labradors are comparatively quiet, but they're still mischievous. So I'd probably pair that personality with the loyalty and obedience of a Border Collie.

  8. Finally, the most important part: floppy ears vs pointy ears.
  9. I actually prefer floppy ears on pet dogs. And on Australian Shepherds, they're PERFECT.

  12. As for a name for that breed... I really don't know. The thing is, huskies have that wide build because they need to distribute their weight as much as possible on snow, but cold environments wouldn't be good for the dog if their fur was slightly shorter. Given that the breed would have a large build and be quite intelligent, it'd almost certainly be bred as a working dog, so the main other option would be as some kind of Shepherd variant. So I can only think of half of the name for that; a Something Shepherd.
