[19:52]	kirin	The day then goes by uneventfully. People putting things in their room, getting accustomed to new place,
[19:52]	kirin	And tonight's dinner is curry.

[19:53]	kirin	When you wake up, you all see a note slipped underneath your door.

[19:54]	Doktor_Q	VV has exactly one possession and has no fear of cold, so her bunk looks pretty much exactly as it did when she moved in. Seeing some new kind of paper, she picks it up. Is it another meal ticket?
[19:54]	kirin	'Please be ready in the common room by 8AM. - dorm manager.'
[19:55]	Blue_	Heylan is always up by sunrise, so after spending some time meditating, training, and working out, he's there five minutes early.
[19:56]	Doktor_Q	VV, not actually having a built in clock, doesn't know what time it is, and went to the common room as soon as she saw the message.
[19:58]	Boy_Named_Sue	Mirai isn't up by sunrise, but she's one of the first ones awake in the dorm. She sees the note and blinks at it, then proceeds to wash, groom and have her morning tea before getting out to the main room. She arrives a few minutes after Heylan.
[20:00]	Owen	Alcelstis finds herself waking up early by habit, but has a particularly difficult time actually getting out of bed.  She's used to a hard wooden frame with a leather bedroll.  It's just... so soft...

[20:07]	kirin	"Please wake up already or you will miss your class~♡"
[20:08]	kirin	A very familiar voice tells you, Alcelstis.
[20:10]	Owen	Alcelstis is REALLY getting tired of all the door-knocking at this school.  She wiggles herself out of the soft soft bed and throws on her old school uniform again, it being the only clothes she owns now.  No time to "freshen up", not like she was going to anyways.  She tromps downstairs, her hair looking absolutely terrible.
[20:11]	kirin	The rest: You all see miss dorm manager sweeping the front yard outside. When she sees you she comes in and rest her broom on the wall.
[20:11]	Doktor_Q	VV's eyes track her, but her head doesn't.
[20:11]	kirin	"Oh you are all here. Cutting too close to the deadline♡"
[20:11]	kirin	"I have a message for you all."
[20:12]	kirin	She hands each of you a card-sized printouts. It appears to be a class schedule, customized for each of you.
[20:12]	Doktor_Q	VV stares at it. Is this a meal ticket?
[20:13]	kirin	"That will be the class schedule for each of you. For the morning, you will go to the designated classes."
[20:13]	kirin	"For the afternoon, you all will be attending the same class as a -party-."
[20:14]	Owen	Alcelstis rolls her eyes at the residence mistress.  What deadline?  She wasn't instructed to DO anything.
[20:14]	Doktor_Q	She scans over it, and reaching the limit of her word dictionary, begins steaming.
[20:14]	kirin	"This will be your party until someone graduates or dropped out. So be nice to each other~"
[20:16]	Boy_Named_Sue	Mirai looks at the schedule, then at the rest of her party. She secretly hopes that dragon girl flushes out by the time the first semester ends, barely concealing a glower.
[20:17]	kirin	"Your first afternoon class will be held at the school yard, so please be there and tell the instructor that you are party from allstar dorm. They will tell you the rest."
[20:17]	kirin	"Question?"
[20:17]	Owen	Alcelstis raises her hand, and doesn't wait to be called on.  "What's the dropout rate?"
[20:17]	Doktor_Q	VV's hand goes up, once more waiting until called on. The science people said it was a rule at school.
[20:18]	kirin	"Oh, not much. Just around... 50% throughout the year? VV, go on."
[20:18]	Doktor_Q	"What's the first class?"
[20:19]	Blue_	Heylan has no questions! Everything was understood the first time.
[20:21]	Owen	Alcelstis is impressed.  Fifty percent?  Even the Institute didn't fail that many.  She surveys the common room, wondering what two people won't be here next year...
[20:21]	kirin	"My, I am quite sure you could read? I will tell the fox professor later. She probably missed it. Here, let me take a look..."
[20:22]	Doktor_Q	"Written words are hard!" She proudly proclaims.
[20:24]	Owen	Alcelstis knows ONE of the people who won't make the cut~
[20:24]	Blue_	"Is that all?" Heylan asks the instructor, planning on heading to his next class immediately.
[20:26]	kirin	"Yes. And, oh Heylan."
[20:26]	kirin	"Pincipal have a message for you. ' please take care of everyone. I am counting on you', is what she said."
[20:27]	Blue_	Heylan nods. "She told me the same yesterday. If that's all, I'll get to class."

[20:32]	Doktor_Q	VV grabs a lunchbox, and cradles it in both hands as she follows Heylan.
[20:33]	Owen	Alcelstis walks up to the boxed lunches, confused.  This is a foreign concept to her.  "What the hell are these?" she asks, pointing.
[20:34]	Blue_	"They're food!" Heylan calls back over his shoulder as he walks away. "Open them up."
[20:34]	Momizi	"A packed lunch for your, uh, lunch?"
[20:37]	Owen	The dragon girl skeptically picks one up and peeks inside, sneering.  (Do they think I'm an infant?  Do they think I can't find the mess hall?).  She takes it anyways, though, assuming that this is just how they do things in this country.
[20:38]	Momizi	Dorm manager waves you goodbye before disappearing at the edge of your vision.
[20:42]	Doktor_Q	Thankfully, VV's class is shared with someone responsible for watching her, and relies on physical ability. It's the first day, so it's mostly testing to see what levels people are at.
[20:45]	Blue_	Heylan has an easy time of it in gym class. The fencing, boxing, and general athletics demanded by the class are a lot easier for him than for anyone else due to his deity's blessings.
[20:45]	Momizi	"Gah. Can't compete with that guy."
[20:46]	Owen	Alcelstis tries to see if she can single out Mirai before she runs off to whatever "honor student class" she's wont to take.
[20:46]	Momizi	"Heylan-sama is glowing again today♡"
[20:46]	Momizi	"Fuck that tryhards."
[20:46]	Doktor_Q	VV has a very confusing time. She's horribly at restraining her strength, and has almost no idea what the objects being used are. On the other hand, she IS strong enough to crush an adult skull with one hand, and also physically does not feel tired.
[20:46]	Momizi	Those are some of the comments directed at him during gym class.
[20:47]	Momizi	VV send two guys to the healer class as an extra heal practice target when she paired up for exercise with them.
[20:48]	Momizi	Considering everything, two is not that much.
[20:48]	Doktor_Q	She remembers what she's seen very well, though, and almost has a grasp of the basics of using a sword by the end of the class. Provided they could find one that didn't break when she hits anything with it.
[20:51]	Boy_Named_Sue	Mirai detours to her room to drop off her food, not wanting to carry it around with her all day.
[20:52]	Owen	Alcelstis thumps on Mirai's door; apparently that's how you get things done in this school.
[20:56]	Boy_Named_Sue	Sighing, Mirai opens the door and looks displeased to see Alcelstis there.
[20:56]	Boy_Named_Sue	"What do you want?"
[20:57]	Owen	"That was some lame shit you pulled yesterday, bitch," she growls, consciously taking up all of the doorframe.
[20:58]	Boy_Named_Sue	Mirai stares at Alcelstis, looking to be seconds away from slamming the door on her face.
[21:04]	Owen	"Lesson One.  If you want something, you damn well FIGHT for it.  And if you're not prepared to do whatever it takes to get it, you, don't, fight."  She punctuates the last three words like they're each in their own sentence.
[21:05]	Doktor_Q	As class is winding down, VV seems to have gotten the hang of it, and goes up to Heylan. "Senpai!" She calls, mimicking what she assumes is his common name.
[21:06]	Blue_	Heylan gives VV a curious look, wondering what she's going to ask him.
[21:07]	Owen	"I don't care how embarrassed you THINK you were, after all the bitching you did beforehand, backing down is just fucking insulting, and in the REAL world, that's the kind of shit that gets people killed."
[21:09]	Doktor_Q	"How strong are you?" She asks, taking a grappling stance. Her visor is still down, single glowing eye watching from behind the slats
[21:09]	Blue_	"Very," he replies. He's not bragging, just stating a fact.
[21:10]	Owen	"And I kind of like NOT getting killed by people who are supposed to be my comrades in arms.  Get your act together, girl."
[21:10]	Doktor_Q	Her steam vents open up in preparation. "Fight me!"
[21:11]	Boy_Named_Sue	Mirai lets Alcestis finish running her mouth and then rolls her eyes. "Shut up.", she says simply, then pushes past the dragon girl, heading to her class.
[21:12]	Blue_	This gives him pause, as he takes a moment to consider if he should. He knows her specs prevent her from healing from damage the way living creatures do, so he decides to defeat her without harming her. "What are the rules? Wrestling? Fencing?"
[21:13]	Doktor_Q	"Wrestling. Swords break too easily."
[21:14]	Blue_	Heylan nods, and heads into the ring.
[21:14]	Owen	Alcelstis throws a coin at Mirai's back as she heads out.  It has three conspicuous bullet holes in it.
[21:15]	Owen	"And keep your trash out of MY room!"
[21:17]	Boy_Named_Sue	Mirai spins around and catches the coin, grinning as she flips it. "Whatever~", she flippantly waves Alcestis off, straightening her hair as she heads out.
[21:21]	Owen	Alcelstis squeezes her ears in frustration.  Maybe the assassination attempts were better after all...  Actually, no, no they weren't.  Easier, yes.  Better, no.  She grabs her sidebag and heads out, hoping that she and Mirai have the same morning class to show that she's not getting out of this so easily~
[21:21]	Doktor_Q	VV enters, making soft humming noises as she attempts to control her body tension, for optimal reaction time.
[21:24]	Blue_	Heylan spreads his feet apart, leading with his left leg, arms up to catch any blows. "Whenever you're ready." A faint glowing outline surrounds him, the sign of blessing by his deity.
[21:26]	Doktor_Q	She lunges straight, aiming to hit him like a trident at full sprinting speed.
[21:28]	Blue_	Which, unfortunately for her, isn't really much of a technique. He steps towards her at the last second, crouches down, and lifts her off her feet, letting her momentum do the work for him.
[21:30]	Doktor_Q	Her hands grab him by the arms like vices, as she attempts to fold her spine to right her moment, flailing a bit as she processes being suddenly airborne

[21:34]	Owen	Alcelstis is a little bummed that Mirai is NOT sharing her Battle Tactics class.  At first she wonders if she should really be in the class herself; it doesn't seem likely that after graduation she'll be commanding troops like she would have been at her old school.  After the first half-hour passes and she realizes how pitifully little her classmates know about the art of war, she perks up. ...

[21:36]	Blue_	Heylan leans over the ropes. "Ring out."

[21:40]	Doktor_Q	She stares at him, ears perked as she records everything about it, engraving it into her memory.
[21:40]	Owen	Alcelstis exits her morning class feeling like the honoriest of honor students; they rest of the class probably think she's a stuck-up show-off transfer student, but they'll come around.  She fancies a walk around the campus to get the lay of the land.  Who knows, she might need to know the best shortcuts if someone ends up chasing her for stealing something.
[21:41]	Kirin	Alcelstis: One guy, however, seems to know what he's doing. He's rather tall but not that buffed. He has glasses and a sidesweep hairstyle and black-red hair.
[21:41]	Kirin	Looks like serious guy archetype to you.
[21:41]	Blue_	He flips over the top rope, jumps down to her, and offers her a hand up.
[21:43]	Owen	It seems that he's heading in the same direction as the dragon, at least for now.  "Oh, you," she mentions.  "You're that guy who wasn't as dense as steel about basic-as-hell troop deployment."
[21:44]	Kirin	"It's obvious." He nudges his glasses. "As a highborn like me, it is inevitable that I will have to lead. This much is nothing."
[21:45]	Kirin	"Are you also a highborn? You seems to be able to not fail utterly like a moron in the class."
[21:47]	Owen	"Nice to know at least SOMEONE in this country won't run the army into the ocean."  Alcelstis nudges her own glasses as well.  "And I'm not going to answer that question.  Where I come from you EARN a name; you don't get to start with it."
[21:48]	Owen	"So if you think I'm not a moron, that's all natural, dear~"  Alcelstis winks.
[21:48]	Kirin	"Talking all high and mighty for a commoner." He snickers, and extend his hand. "Draco Winchester. From Winchester family."
[21:51]	Doktor_Q	She takes it, squeezing like she's trying to crush it, and pulls herself up hard enough to risk popping someone's shoulder.
[21:51]	Owen	"Alcelstis Harcourtinæ.  From no place you'd care about.  And I'll pass on that handshake," she adds, staring at his offer.
[21:51]	Kirin	"Kuh--!"
[21:52]	Owen	"You were good, but you weren't THAT good."
[21:52]	Blue_	Heylan winces slightly, but doesn't seem to be damaged by it. "Would you like to keep going?"

As she does so, a shimmering heat wave seems to waft off her fist, and her hand suddenly disappears and reappears several yards in front of her, giving Draco a sturdy punch in the small of his back.  Alcelstis's hand just as quickly returns to normal, and she walks away like nothing happened.

[22:04]	Owen	Alcelstis smirks, and licks the blood from her knuckles.  "As if you could get it up fast enough~"

[22:18]	Kirin	You all finished your morning class, and you can either go back to eat at the dorm, goes to cafeteria, or just find a nice shade to eat that boxed lunch. Your call!
[22:19]	Blue_	Heylan heads back to his dorm! Specifically, to his dorm room. He has stuff he can use there to work out and train.
[22:22]	Owen	Alcelstis locks her door and makes sure that the hiding space for her horde has not been compromised.  Back at the Institute if you got your belongs stolen it was your own damn fault.
[22:23]	Doktor_Q	VV is still mostly trailing Heylan, since their schedules match. She doesn't have any idea what to do if left wholly to herself, after all.
[22:24]	Kirin	Alcy : It was there, but somehow it looks way more tidy.
[22:26]	Kirin	Mirai is still stuck in the class (That runs late because the instructor, miss Annabelle, is fumbling left and right), and the spideygirl is off doing something else.
[22:26]	Owen	The dragon-girl's claws dig into the floor.  The cache has been compromised, and they have the gall to not even STEAL from her!
[22:27]	Blue_	Heylan heads to his room and changes to his gym outfit: A pair of sweatpants.
[22:27]	Doktor_Q	VV will follow him until he stops her.
[22:28]	Blue_	He stops her outside his room because he needs to change! And doesn't invite her in, expecting her to do whatever.
[22:28]	Owen	For the moment, she must revert to Plan B:  Carry it with her at all times.  She packs it into her sidebag and heads outside, looking for the rest of her probably-deadbeat dormmates.
[22:28]	Doktor_Q	She stands there, staring at his door until he comes back out, or she has some other appointment.
[22:30]	Owen	Alcelstis notices that little homunculus and stands behind her, seeing how she'll react.

[22:32]	Owen	Alcelstis decides to test its level of faux-humanity with a simple enough question.
[22:32]	Kirin	Sound of someone dragging things onto the second floor.

[22:33]	Doktor_Q	After a brief delay, a steam jet shoots from her ears, reaching back towards Alcel's face.
[22:35]	Owen	Alcelstis wafts her hand in front of her face to dissipate the steam.  This one seems to be defective.
[22:37]	Owen	"Cancel order."
[22:38]	Doktor_Q	"I don't know," she concludes, turning to face the dragon, her expression as impassive and faintly smiling as ever. "Do you?"

[22:44]	Owen	Alcelstis turns around.  "Is there anybody I know in there?" she asks.  It's a legitimate question!
[22:44]	Kirin	"Actually, this will be yours."
[22:44]	Kirin	Dorm manager presents an old-styled key to you Alcelstis.
[22:45]	Doktor_Q	VV eyes the key intently, pupils dilating and contracting.
[22:46]	Owen	Alcelstis takes the key into her palm and stares at it.  "What's this, then?"
[22:47]	Kirin	"For your 'belongings'. It seems you have a lot of valuables, so a secured chest might be good for you~"
[22:48]	Kirin	"This used to be a Mimic's shell, but after some stern talking-to, I make it vacant."
[22:48]	Owen	Alcelstis stares at the chest for a bit; it takes a while for her to understand just what Madam Kanrinin means.
[22:49]	Owen	Alcelstis tries very hard not to smile.  Like, VERY hard.  "You can't be real, ma'am."
[22:50]	Kirin	"Allstar dorm prides itself in taking really good care of its inhabitant and also harmony between its member."
[22:50]	Kirin	"I just do what I can for who I can~"
[22:52]	Owen	Alcelstis pockets the key, quite honestly taken aback.  "Well, don't expect me to tip you or anything."
[22:53]	Kirin	"To be honest, it is tiring to drag this up here. Could you help me taking this to your room?"
[22:55]	Owen	"Oh, that little thing?  I can take care of that myself; off you go~"
[22:56]	Boy_Named_Sue	Finally, Mirai arrives, her hair looking wet. Seems she took a moment to return to the dorm to shower after her morning classes.
[23:01]	Owen	Alcelstis turns back to V.V.  "Right then, love.  Love is... probably not for you.  It'll be more trouble than it's worth, trust me."

[23:09]	Owen	Alcelstis is quite honestly impressed she was able to catch that.  But now she knows~  She makes a mental note to buy lots of candles for her room later.
[23:09]	Kirin	Mirai is greeted by dorm manager on her way back.
[23:10]	Kirin	"How's your class? Having a good day?" she smiles. "Everyone's on the second floor hallway."
[23:10]	Boy_Named_Sue	Blinking, Mirai is cleaning out her ear with a towel as she walks in. "Oh, uh, yeah, I'm okay. Don't we have time until our next class?"
[23:13]	Kirin	"A bit, yes. Afternoon class starts soon."
[23:13]	Kirin	She sighs a bit.
[23:14]	Kirin	"I hope your instructor's doing okay. Snow always mess up in front of a new crowds."
[23:14]	Owen	"So what's your deal, anyways?" Alcelstis asks V.V.
[23:14]	Doktor_Q	VV cocks her head.
[23:17]	Boy_Named_Sue	"She's fine. I had her class last semester.", Mirai says, still trying to dry her hair.

[23:19]	Doktor_Q	She clenches and unclenches her hand, focus drifting just a bit up from the dragon girl's eyes, on here forehead. "I think you're trying to insult me?" she asks.
[23:21]	Kirin	[The clock on the second floor indicates that it's nearly time for afternoon class.]
[23:21]	Owen	Alcelstis holds up an instructive finger.  "Correction, I'm trying to TEST you."
[23:22]	Doktor_Q	"Oh!" She relaxes at once, returning to her smile. "I do not have any deals I am aware of."
[23:25]	Boy_Named_Sue	Not wanting to be late, Mirai fixes her hair once it's dry and runs off to the next class.
[23:25]	Owen	The dragon sighs and rubs her face.  The Institute often created homunculii as slaves, but rarely did she ever have to TALK with them.  This could be a long semester...
[23:25]	Kirin	[the bell rings. it's nearly time.]
[23:26]	Owen	"We'll have to work on that, then.  Come on, follow me~"
[23:26]	Doktor_Q	VV does so.
[23:28]	Owen	"What the hell's your name again, kid?" she asks as the pairs walks to their afternoon class.

[23:28]	Blue_	Heylan changes back to his school uniform, and gets ready to go.

[23:31]	Owen	"Yeah, no, we'll have to fix you up with a proper name at some point, that name sucks."
[23:32]	Kirin	At the school yard, there seems to be a lot of students here. all gathered up and split into groups. They lined up at various checkpoints, with school staff manning the gate.
[23:32]	Kirin	far inside, you can hear some fights occuring, and maybe random reptilian/draconic roars.
[23:34]	Blue_	Heylan is dressed in a heavy suit of armor, with a shield and a sword slung across his back, fully looking the part of the knight in shining armor.
[23:34]	Kirin	"Allstar dorm team?" a guy with a hat and a shade asks you. "Did you have a party leader yet? Optional, but would make my life a lot easier."
[23:35]	Doktor_Q	VV looks toward Heylan for his suggestion.
[23:35]	Blue_	"I'll take the role," Heylan says.
[23:35]	Owen	Alcelstis perks her ears to the roars.  Sounds like drakes, maybe?
[23:36]	Kirin	"Good. I'll explain the situation."
[23:36]	Owen	"Damn, they're provoked.  And I thought this was supposed to be the NICE kingdom..."
[23:36]	Kirin	"Here, we will conduct a party ranking. We as an academy needs to know what you guys are capable of so we can assign appropriate missions for you when the townsfolk request our aid."
[23:37]	Kirin	"You will have to go through a couple of set-up fights. Nothing lethal, but it's gonna hurt if you are not prepared."
[23:38]	Kirin	"What we can guarantee is that you are not gonna die or having permanent damage. Everything else? sucks to be you.
[23:38]	Kirin	"
[23:38]	Kirin	He shrugs.
[23:39]	Kirin	"So, ready for this?"
[23:39]	Blue_	Heylan nods. He doesn't spend all his time training to fail to be ready for things like this.
[23:39]	Doktor_Q	VV nods, lacking a good concept of fear at this point.
[23:41]	Boy_Named_Sue	Mirai is ready. This is what she does.
[23:43]	Kirin	"Fearless bunch, eh? As expected from the Allstar dorm."
[23:43]	Kirin	"Get in there and meet your first opponent!"
[23:44]	Kirin	Inside, you see a really huge boulder blocking the sun.
[23:45]	Kirin	Actually, there's two
[23:45]	Kirin	and it's not a boulder. It's just as big as one.
[23:46]	Kirin	As it moves the club (that's probably made of an entire tree) to ready stance, you realize that's it's two ogre, ready to bash you!
[23:46]	Owen	"Oh, good, not a drake," Alcelstis comments offhand.  "Now I won't feel guilty~"
