Police my current primary character is a lieutenant in the LSPD

What is your primary character’s backstory and characteristics?
Michael Moore grew up in San Andreas. His father walked out when he was 5 and he was raised by his mother until he was 18. He got himself kicked out of the house when his mom found his gun and money stash hidden in the vent of his room. Michael had always been apart of gang life, but never anything serious usually just acting as a runner for whoever was paying at the time.  When things started looking bad he would hide at a local tow yard where he works his 9-5 towing and fixing cars. After watching his mentor Bill die in his arms after a drive by and promised him that he would get out of the gang life and truly make a difference in his community. So the next day he applied to become a Sheriffs Deputy.

You are hanging out with your friends and a car pulls up behind you, someone gets out with their gun drawn on you. The person tells you to put your hands up or else they will kill you, they then ask for you to get in the vehicle. What would you say and do in this situation?
I would try and talk my way out of the situation but if not possible I would follow his orders because I value my life.

Do you understand acting salty to officers when arrested and rushing them to process you is not considered valid RP, that “breaking character,” or acting “immature” even when someone appears to have broken rules around you, is punishable?
Yes, one of the main reasons i want to leave my old server.

When is a good time to break character?
Never if you have a complaint about something that happened in character wait till rp is done and file a report or contact person and calmly discuss issues you had with rp.

What should you do if you’re arrested by the police and you lose power during the process?
Use my phone and send them a discord message saying i lost power.  And when i get power back resume rp by going to jail.

If you’re robbing a store with a hostage, how would your character deal with the police and the situation at hand if surrounded?
If i am robbing a store with a hostage I view it as i am in control of the scene I will always guarantee the hostages safety in exchange for safe passage away from store whether that means I release the hostage a block away after i have escaped the encirclement or releasing the hostage in exchange for access to my vehicle. I also understand that if the hostage is harmed my chances of escaping are 0.

I am a starting twitch streamer I tried to get back started again but due to modding on my old server I felt i couldnt because my rp was always interrupted.
Please explain why meta gaming is bad
Meta gaming is how good rp dies if you meta game every situation there is no surprise and it causes others to also not enjoy the scenario.  If you take OOC knowledge into any rp situation you are meta gaming and ruining the rp for yourself and everyone around you.
