  1. This part represents objective 2: From Fig. 4, a pie chart shows awareness about fake authentication of biometric systems. Participants were asked about an imaginary scenario to extract their thinking capability to fool a biometric system. 36.4% of participants think that it is possible to fool a biometric system and 26% voted for “often” which is encoded in value “4”, which also indicated the positive reaction of participants to fool a biometric system.
  2.
  3. Fig. 5 represented a bar chart that shows the concern of users about secondary recovery mechanisms. Participants were asked if they failed to access the biometric system for physical injury, what were their secondary options. Among 174 participants, 46 people were using recovery email or message, 40 were using password or pin. 2 participants had no secondary recovery mechanisms and 19 participants ignored this question which is taken as they are not familiar with secondary recovery mechanisms.
  4.
  5. A pie chart is shown in Fig. 6 which represented the third party software users that collect biometric information. 38.3% of participants thought that third party software users never collects information. 22.7% of participants voted for “sometimes” and 18.8% voted for “rarely”. By encoding the votes, it has been extracted that the majority of participants were in support of third party users not collecting biometric information.
  6.
  7. User's concerns about documentation or biometric devices shown in Fig. 7. Participants were asked that they read the terms and conditions of biometric systems or not and from the percentile, 25% of total participants do not read documentation or terms and conditions before using a biometric device. Other percentiles and calculations are represented by using statistical equations and showed them in the quartile table.
