  1. How many of you right now have a dream or a goal?
  2.
  3. How many of you have gone for it and failed?
  4.
  5. What I want to say is, it doesn’t matter if you fail. It doesn’t matter if people make fun of you, put you down, hate on you, or tell you it’s dumb. So long as you believe, you can achieve. That is my meaning of life: Success and the glory that comes with it. You see, all successful people have one thing: Motivation. But the best type of motivation, is self motivation. There isn’t anything better than accomplishing something because you wanted to do it. You see successful people know that the only reason know that success doesn’t come without effort. You can give excuses like saying “I got a case of the Mondays, the Tuesdays, the Wednesdays, the Thursdays, the Fridays, the Saturdays, the Sundays” but successful people don’t say that. They say, “it’s another day to go for it.”
  6. I’ve always thought that life was a death sentence and that you had to leave a mark on the world to be useful. But you know what? I realized something. That doesn’t even matter.
  7.
  8. Who cares what the haters think? The only one that can stop you from succeeding is yourself. The Wright Brothers never said “They called us stupid because we wanted to fly so we stopped.” Henry Ford never said “They called me stupid because I said cars should be affordable for everyone so I stopped.” No way. Listening to that garbage is only going to slow you down. Life is about success and failure. If you fail, that’s life telling you you’re on the road to success. No one ever said it was going to be easy. But, it’s going to be worth it. When Thomas Edison failed to make the light bulb 9999 times, he didn’t stop. He said to himself, “I found 9999 ways that didn’t work. Let’s find the one that works.” You see, success is the pinnacle of life and it doesn’t come cheap. It’s easier to hang with your friends than the bleachers for an hour. It’s easier to take bong hits than it is to spend 9 hours on World of Warcraft perfecting your timings to be rank 1. It’s easier to be on facebook than it is to hit the gym and push yourself to the point of exhaustion every day. You can say “Oh! I went to the gym yesterday and I’m better off because of it.” But then, the question you have to ask yourself is, “What did I do at the gym yesterday? Did I work myself to the point of exhaustion or did I just get uncomfortable and quit?” See, successful people like Obama, the Governator, Martin Luther King, Mrs. Thomas, Diego Rios, Will Smith, and John Paul don’t stop working hard. Everyday, they give at least 100% and that’s what it takes. At least 100%. If you can’t give it your all and more, you’re just wasting time.
  9.
  10. Time is the most precious commodity that humans have been given. If you just wait around doing nothing, you’re never going to get that time back. Successful people pour all of their effort to do everything they can in the little amount of time they have.
  11.
  12. 10 years from now, 50 years from now, a month from now, what will you say you wished you started doing today?
  13.
  14. You see, the only way to succeed, is to start. When you take a number, say 1 million. It looks huge. It looks hard and you have to start at one. And “one,” in the face of 1 million, looks like nothing. But you know what? 1 million is just 1 million ones added together to make something great. Everyday you don’t spend doing something, that just takes one extra day to get better at it. The people who do great don’t set out by saying, “I’m going to be the greatest singer, the greatest athlete, the greatest lawyer, the greatest musician, the greatest doctor.” Instead, they just say this. “I’m going to give it my all to do what I need to do today, tomorrow, the day after that, and every day after that.” Someone’s gotta be the best in their field. Why can’t it be you or I? Think about it. Are you going to set some arbitrary goal that pleases others or are you going to set a goal that only says “I’m going to be better the next time. I’m going to be better the next moment. I’m going to be better the next day, the next hour, the next minute, the next second.”
  15.
  16. Because succeeding, takes that kind of dedication. And I know that each and everyone of us can do it.
  17.
  18. Never give up on your dreams. Be like Obama, Mrs. Thomas, or Diego. Become Legendary.
