[20:01] Saturno eventually wraps mythril his arm behind her neck and lets it rest on top of her opposite shoulder in a display of empathy and affection. Shortly after, he also starts to tear up aswell. "He didn't deserve it... I've been so reckless."

[20:09] Laureline says, "I warned him... I-...I-I was worried, all this time..."
[20:10] Saturno lashes out suddenly. "How dare you say that!? He knew what he was getting into!"

[20:10] Laureline just keeps staring, an exorcist could feel her 'occult' energies... intensifying, for some reason.

[20:10] Sumire holds up her hand, only slightly. "This is not the time."

[20:10] Saturno Petramurum says, "Amyas is no fool."
[20:13] Raises her eyes to stare into Saturno, taking a step forward. An exorcist - or a well developed occultist - they would feel her occultic energies intensify all out of sudden.

As she took her step, her eyes widened, as she lashed out:
"AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW!?" - She shouted out, visibly worked up, tears rolling down her face.
"HE'S DEAD! HE DEFECTED, HE WON'T BE SPARED!" - She added.

Clenching her fists with seemingly enough force to crush a diamond, she wiped her tears, still shouting towards Saturno:
"HE....HE WAS EVERYTHING TO ME! HE'S GONE! HE'S...D-...D-...D-DEAD!" - She finally finished, her voice cracking as she yelled the last sentence, her eyes attaining a weird, purple-ish hue.

[20:27] Her shift was evident, she was really losing herself this time. Laureline's purple-tinted eyes met his, stirring up an eerie atmosphere. He could feel it her grief slowly mutate into something much more horrid. A shiver ran down Saturno's spine briefly as his light-blue eyes took on a very similar shade of violet.

A black, cloud-like figure bursted from the masked man's back. Amorphous and ominous-looking, it slowly shaped itself into the upper half of a humanoid physique. It did not seem tangible, and it hovered just a foot over the man.

"I know. I clearly know." Even in the open, his voice would come out as phased and reverberant. Almost distorted.

He'd squint. Not aggressively, but in assertion to his claim instead. Saturno started walking towards Laureline.

"You have every right to mourn."

Now standing a mere few inches away from her, the unsettling phantom disappeared. The purple hue, however, remained. A voice akin to his natural timbre resonated:

"But I won't accept you thrashing his will and memory."

[20:34] Kayn watched Saturno carefully as the figure appeared above his form, speaking loud and clear for all to hear. His gaze narrowed slightly as it came and went.

he thought to himself, keeping an eye on the two and partially ignoring Hinata as he spoke and questioned him.

After all of this, the last thing he needed was for Saturno to be overwhelmed by some spirit again, and to top it off it looks like Laureline was having trouble coping with Amyas' capture and his potential death.

A deep breath was taken in and a sigh escaped is lips as he looked over to the blue haired male.

"People died, people were captured." he stated blandly, speaking in the same hushed tone as Hinata.

[20:36] "THRASHING...!?" - She shouted.

Clearly, she completely ignored the cloud-like figure bursting from Saturno's back. Not because of her courage or irrogance, she seemed... blind. Blinded with with emotions, her eyes solely focused on Saturno.

Her eyelid twitched. Her body shivered. As she clenched her fists, one could notice her gloves slowly freezing. She wasn't in control of /anything/.

Her voice wasn' supported by a dark spirit like Saturno's, but one could think it's just as menacing. Echoing. Or maybe it was, after all, and she didn't know?
"Me... OF ALL PEOPLE...THRASHING HIS WILL!?" - Again, she shouted, her emotions visibly 'boosted' by the occult, as any exorcists in the area could ALMOST SEE it forming around her.

With her eyelid twitching, clearly mad - if not worse -, staring at Saturno with her now purple hued eyes, she subconciously, yet quickly summoned a sharp icicle in her right hand, gripping it firmly. Gripping it so hard one could notice the cracks on her frosty shar weapon's surface, as if it was about to shatter.

Anyone standingin close vicinity could proobably feel things getting a tad colder.
"WHAT...HOW...HOW EXACTLY AM I TRASH--" - Snap. She paused, looking at her hand. Her makeshift weapon shattered.

Again, she looked at Saturno, saying through her teeth:
"How...How--How am i trashing his will... LET ALONE HIS MEMORY!?"

[20:38] A solemn nod was returned to the man, Hinata opting to remain quiet while their scuffle played out. To his untrained and sleep-deprived mind, it only seemed as though the two were posturing- if they had truly intended to duke it out it could be resolved fairly quickly-- there were that many people around here after all.

Perhaps he could ask later for details.

He drew his gaze back to the two as the shouts began to escalate-- ah right, maybe they're going to fight it out anyway. Scarred fingers balled up into white-knuckled fists. If things turned for the worse, it'd be his responsibility to intervene.

[20:40] Sumire initially draws back. Her particular sensitivity to the occult turned this into an absolute nightmare, the feeling of running a fever and suppressing the urge to vomit all at once. Pain. She could barely even think, she just had to get the hell away... but wait. No. That wouldn't be right. Feebly, the Chancellor extended her arm in front of Hiromi as if to protect the Kitsune, then took a step closer to Laureline. "Enough, the both of you," she said - nearly commanded. There was... much to sort out, and this wasn't the productive way of doing it.

[20:46] It was at this point where Kayn decided to step forward, taking notice of the weapon that had formed in her hand followed by its immediate snapping. Another deep breath was sucked in and he sighed, stepping forward.

As the cold air radiated from her form a countering heat would be produced from Kayn, keeping the temperature around them in balance. He approached with slowly, but he spoke in a stern and loud voice, one to get their attention.

"Well for one, by losing yourself to your emotions right here..right now." he responded to her question of going against his will.

"Amyas and I..We didn't start off on good terms, but we made amends and over the years we became unlikely allies. Just today..before Crafthold attacked us he and I were speaking. He told me about how he didn't want to lose himself to his rage --his wrath, so he came to me for advice, knowing about my past..We sat down and we had a conversation about it and he said that it was the last thing he wanted to do...So seeing you here, like this?" he paused, pointing to her hand and her magic. "It'd probably make him a little upset.."

Kayn continued to step closer now, until he was near them and he'd hold up a hand towards Sumire, telling her to back up a little.

"I know all about loss..My best friend died when I was younger, another one is missing and probably dead...Elizabeth was captured and died and the woman I love was murdered not even a year ago...Yeah, it hurts..-a lot-...But doing all of this won't make it better, Laureline. We..don't even know of his fate yet, he may just be imprisoned for the time being...With that in mind, we're already planning a rescue and counter-attack...So please, just calm down and don't make a scene."

He attempts to place a hand onto her shoulder, if allowed, to help calm her down.

[21:02] Saturno didn't flinch, he wouldn't even look at the icicle that threatened his life then. Instead, an intense gaze would respond to Laureline's abrasive demeanor. He'd feed on her emotions, taking in as much as possible.

The blue haired magi could feel it - ... her pain. It was palpable enough to transcend abstraction. One could almost reach out, hand open, and touch it. It had texture, flavor.

Kayn's words broke the hypnotic state. Calling forth the phantom, Saturno was completely in control. But during the exchange, he edged on a rather strange zone. Shaking his head lightly, he stood back and allowed the adrenaline and dizziness to pipe down.

Slowly, as the sour taste of grief slid back into his chest, the ex-acolyte tossed a compassionate look, one that looked like an apology, at the chancellor.

[21:04] Zenkichi waggles a piece of paper in Hinata's direction.

"Alright, alright. Whatever." He turns, scanning the crowd...!

[21:06] Suddenly, her eldritch umbretarn tentacles sprouted from her back - as if against her will. She always needed to chant from her book to do that...but now it happened on it's own, slapping Kayn's hand away.

"RUBBISH!" - She shouted.
"HE IS-...WAS..." - ...Her voice cracked.

Snap. Something inside her... changed. Cracked. An almost audible sudden change in her psyche, she... went quiet. For nearly a minute or so, as tears freely rolled down her face.
"And... what do YOU know..." - She whimpered.
"I...I've had two reasons to leave my house...Amyas, and Y-...Yin's well being...Now Amyas is gone, Yin is hurt..."

She raised her glare at Kayn, clenching her fists even harder... but she wasn't shouting. Her emotions were talking now.
"My... both reasons to live, both-...In one day, just--just like that.."

She shook her head, before - once again - turning her 'almost dead' gaze to Kayn.
"Losing... a loved one... is o-one... one thing... Losing your purpose to live, on the other hand..." - her voice trailed off, as she glanced at Zenkichi.
"...That is me. What are the news? Is my mother dead, or somethin'? Why, let us add to the pile of depression!" - She said through her teeth.

[21:07] Zenkichi dedpans. That was a whole lot of emotional baggage right there, a whole lot of stuff that... he could help with, actually. With a quiet cough, he steps forward, extending the paper out to her.

"He wrote this. Well. He got a friend to write it."

[21:09] One of Laureline's tentacles SNATCHED the letter away from Zenkichi's hands forcefully, bringin it close to her face.

Her expression... calmed down. A bit. Her stare was still weirdly... different. But she wasn't shouting.

Grabbing the note with her two hands, she folded it and hid it the inner pocket of her coat.
"I'm leaving." - She coldly stated to Kayn, Saturno, Sumire and Zenkichi, turning on her heel and -hopefully- walking off, each step leaving the grass under her boots... a tad frosty. It'd seem she wasn't controlling hereslf, still.
