  1. "Okay Jasper. I'll be waiting out in the hallway for you once I'm done." I spoke softly as I set the fragrance bottle upon the dresser. I began to back away from the wooden based furniture, my fingertips tucking the hem width of my denim blouse neatly within the waist band of my jeans. Sapphire orbs glanced over to the side, watching as he made his exit from the closure of the bathroom. It was still pretty hard for me to truly believe that Jasper was with us once again. I had frightening and unpleasant dreams at night; about how he was going to diappear from my life again. Sometimes, the dreams seemed so freakisly surreal that I would have to wake up in the middle of the night to make sure that he was still safe and sound. Each time that I did so, I was reassured by his presence, him resting peacefully in bed with the blankets halfway shifted from his form. I was beginning to think that he was actually going to be around for good this time - at least, I hoped as so.Sighing contently, I stood still for a moment, staring at the far wall with only the sign of one emothion. Happiness.  I hadn't been able to properly take Jas out to see the city since his departure from the asylum. Mostly because my father kept him occupied after his bullet wound healed gracefully. Now that my only place of employment was blown to smithereens, my mother kept me entertained with gardening and dress shopping - as if I didn't have enough clothing.

  3. Blinking my eyes quickly, I looked away from the wall, turning on the heels of my boots. I sauntered towards the bathroom, my feet stepping across the doors threshold as they lead me towards the washroom counter. Today was going to be a good day and I was going to make sure of this. Staring blankly into the mirror with a smile, my hand searched for the toothbrush holder until I finally reached it. The tips of my slender digits caressed the porcelain case as I glanced down, catching a glimpse of my unicorn toothbrush. Capturing the handle in between my forefinger and middle finger, I began to lift it out of the small circle, my free hand gripping the tube of bubblegum toothpaste to my left. Flicking the ivory cap upwards with thumb, I brought it towards the colorful toothbrush, carefully squeezing the tube in my palm. Neatly, I lined the bristles with the pink goo, using the pad of my thumb to return it to the closed state. Setting the tube of toothpaste upon the counter, I moved my hand over towards the cold water knob, turning it to wet the bristles just a bit. My right hand lifting as it would bring the   toothbrush towards the stream of water that cascaded from the faucet. I pulled my hand away, bringing the dental tool to my mouth, parting my lips before brushing my porcelain teeth.

  5. A few seconds passed as I felt the toothpaste lather up within my comfort of my mouth. The sweet goo foaming as I made sure to catch every detailed area of my mouth. I listened to the swishing sounds play like a symphony, removing the toothbrush shortly after to spit the foam into the sink. With the use of my free hand, I grabbed my purple bunny cup, filling it with the crystal clear liquid that spilled. Slowly, I brought the cup up to my mouth and filled it with water. I swished from side to side, rinsing my mouth thoroughly before expelling that into the sink as well. "Ah, finally!" I squeaked to myself. I lowered my hand, rinsing the bristles of my toothbrush so that no toothpaste remained upon it. Without giving it much thought, I slammed my toothbrush down into the holder, running out of the bathroom and into my bedroom excitedly. I ran towards my nightstand, almost as if I were about to ambush it with my slender frame. Coming to a halt, I reached out towards the stand and grabbed my glasses; I slipped them onto my face and proceeded to leave the bedroom. All that raced through my mind was taking Jasper to the museum and having some desserts at a Café that was once our favorite. I couldn't wait, I couldn't wait another minute. Parading out into the hallway, the heels of my boots tapped against the hardwood floor. My fingers pressing against the wall as I played with the wall paper, making it towards the staircase.

  7. "Aunt Johnni!" A voice cried out to me in a child-like voice. Small arms wrapped around my ankles as I glanced downward, noticing that it was only my niece. I giggled to myself, reaching down to stroke her brown locks of hair before she released me. "Hey there, baby doll. What are you doing down there?" I questioned her, quirking a curious brow. The corners of her lips curling up into a gentle smile as I took a step forward. "I'm playing hide and go seek with Lottie." She answered. I found it to be adorable that she was waiting on her puppy to come around and find her. She was almost just as precious as I imagined myself to be. "We'll be careful, alright kiddo? Don't worry, I promise not to tell Lottie where you are." I gave her head a quick pet, skipping over towards the staircase railing seconds after.
