Bo-Bae was born in Gangnam, South Korea to her parents Aeja and Himchan. She became the younger sister to Ye-ji, even though she never liked the idea of having a sister, she fell in love with her sister. Growing up, she heard so many bad things about herself, people tried to pressure into things that she didn’t understand and she fell into a slump, her sister told her to be the pure light in a society of dirty minds. She followed her sister’s advice and became a pure, innocent girl that will lend a helping hand to anyone. In high school, she was walking to her next class when her chemistry notebook slipped and when she reached for it, someone else grabbed it at the same time. That’s when she met Soo-Hyuk, who was a senior at the time and she was a freshman. They started talking and got to know each other really well and became best friends, even when he went off to college. Many found it weird that the two weren’t dating, but he has only seen her as a friend. She has had to keep her feelings for him all bottled up in fear of losing her friendship with him. Now, she’s a registered nurse and is going back to become a nurse practitioner.
