  1. [13:02] Grella exclaims, "Oh!"
  2. [13:02] Grella exclaims, "Lord Vanador!"
  3. [13:02] Grella says, "I didn't recognize you without the armor..."
  4. [13:03] Khaine Vanador says, "It's Khaine, I'm off duty. I do duty way too much I need a break."
  5. [13:03] The Cadet would bow respectfully at the Knight who called out for her, showing off a smile, as Always, radiating happiness.
  6.
  7. "Ah... How are you doing sir?"
  8. (Grella)
  9.
  10.
  11. [13:03] "I love swimming! Simply not in the context of tripping and falling into water."
  12.
  13. The violinist held onto her instrument case and stopped on cue. Steps were taken behind him soon enough, smile on display.
  14.
  15. "If Erika could help, I would be grateful. Even though it's old, I still cherish it greatly." Then, Priscilla's grin turned anxious. Why did this topic always make her so nervous? A brief glimpse around would be given to certain individuals near the lake, landing on one in particular.
  16.
  17. "..."
  18. (Priscilla Estiellevé)
  19.
  20.
  21. [13:03] Grella says, "Hm, i can imagine."
  22. [13:03] Khaine smiles. "I'm doing okay. You?"
  23.
  24. (Khaine Vanador)
  25.
  26.
  27. [13:04] Priscilla Estiellevé exclaims, "Soren!"
  28. [13:04] Grella says, "I'm fine myself, mhm."
  29. [13:04] Priscilla Estiellevé exclaims, "Focus!"
  30. [13:04] Soren says, "Right, right."
  31. [13:04] Grella asks, "Could find your other students?"
  32. [13:05]
  33. She doesn't want to appear disgusted, but she absolutely does. And when he chews and burps, she swears that she nearly vomits. "I-It's too much, I'm sorry, I-..I can't help this one." Nope, nope, nope. Instead, she merely turns within her chair...Nearly keeled over from the threat of puking.
  34. (Marísol)
  35.
  36.
  37. [13:05] On all fours he turned, staring at Grella for a few moments.
  38.
  39. But his gaze on her didn't last.
  40. (Sigwald)
  41.
  42.
  43. [13:05] Khaine Vanador says, "No. I'm going to move forward with those that want to learn ice magics."
  44. [13:06] Grella asks, "Hm. So you have time for a lesson right now?"
  45. [13:06] Khaine Vanador says, "Sure."
  46. [13:06] Grella says, "Well, i'm right after you."
  47. [13:08] "The biggest issue I have noted is people used too much to water mana, and thus unable to wield ice correctly. So I need to know what exactly are you wanting to learn."
  48.
  49. They were several ice magics and he was working hard on a spell he would use as well. A strong ice spell. But he is more about teaching what the person needs. Which is why he casted.
  50. (Khaine Vanador)
  51.
  52.
  53. [13:14] Grella blinked a little bit, confused at the words given to her, Grella hangged her head slighty to the right over hearing his speech about water, it was curious to think on that, for the first time she started to reflect about it...
  54.
  55. "Well... I basically want to learn what you do. My purposes with Ice Magic are mostly for fighting, to change the temperature in order to freeze my opponent, slow, make my blows to be more consistent, you get it?" She answers him, crossing her arms.
  56.
  57. The Cadet stratches her chin, thinking a little bit more about her fighting style. Was she one that used way too much water mana?
  58.
  59. "Well, i think i'm on a good spot using Cosmic and Water, not too much Cosmic, not too much Water. I plan on becomming na Intermediate user of Cosmic Magic, but my Water is not that advanced yet... My focus on Cosmic Magic is uh, a much more spiritual one. So i believe i still have room for evolving."
  60. (Grella)
  61.
  62.
  63. [13:19] Tyvra Idione says, "Keep goin'."
  64. [13:19] Caesar Fantasia says, "Oh, yeah, this is just the Order area."
  65. [13:19] Caesar Fantasia asks, "Nothing interesting ever happens here. Let's look somewhere else?"
  66. [13:19] Tyvra Idione says, "Forward, my slave."
  67. [13:19] Tyvra Idione says, "Oh."
  68. [13:19] Tyvra Idione says, "Okay, let's go."
  69. [13:19] Caesar Fantasia says, ".."
  70. [13:19] "I see. But let me explain how my ice works. And it's main offensive.
  71.
  72. You'd likely want to learn first the basic step of all ice magic: to be able to cast it and frost all around you. To do this I have taught people different eays to cast this basic spell. Some people prefer to pull water, freeze it slowly then release the frost. Others prefer to learn ice mana directly before casting the basics."
  73.
  74. As an example he shows her two ways to cast his spell. He pulls in water mana all around him, starts to freeze it and then extends his hands as his well known ice area attack.
  75. (Khaine Vanador)
  76.
  77.
  78. [13:24] Grella would smile softly as she herself was already thinking on method to better use her Water magic in a way to optmize and make her jobe easier in order to freeze and cast Ice spells, she stratched her chin for a bit and would go in for an answer right after.
  79.
  80. "Well, i have something in mind. During most of my fights i tend to use a lot of water, 'bubbles' and casting a sphere of water, dragging it back and striking quickly forward, using it as a whip... Both basic techniques, but i use those a lot! I was thinking... What if i can wet the battle field and use that as an advantage to make casting ice easier?" She asks, resting her right hand over her waist.
  81.
  82. "I just need to learn how to freeze water properly and learn to shape it into spikes, maybe i can even reproduce both this technique you just used... And the one that creates spikes that freeze on touch..."
  83. (Grella)
  84.
  85.
  86. [13:25] "Ah you are looking for two main spells of ice. The one that makes you jut ice spikes up is a different spell, but you'd need to learn to use ice mana, not water mana. Notice the move. Watch."
  87.
  88. He lets his icy blue hues glow with mana as he extends a hand and ice spikes jut around the area. "Did you see any water?"
  89. (Khaine Vanador)
  90.
  91.
  92. [13:29] Grella would put herself thinking again, reflicting in her thoughts about what he said, it seems that all that would be a slightly harder work than she thought that it would be.
  93.
  94. "Hm... So i can not freeze Water and use it? Mhm, i thought i could freeze stuff and use water to make casting ice easier... Well, if you can do that out of the blue i imagine it could be better if i was on a wet or cold field. Anyway! Uh... How do i do that, i mean, learn how to use Ice?"
  95.
  96. Grella was skilled enough with Water magic, and had more room for development, yet she wasn't getting the thing as to her it was much easier, as she just needed to learn how to shape water in a different state, in a solid state. It would be much better if she could freeze water that was before setted up to make the process faster, she thinks.
  97.
  98. "I believe i, uh... Can try that?"
  99. (Grella)
  100.
  101.
  102. [13:51]
  103. {LOAD GAME}
  104.
  105. [13:51] * You have been awarded 4 Roleplay Points! *
  106. [13:54] "Well let me explain it this way. If you look at the basic attack some of the ice is actually teleporting through. That's why you need to control actual ice mana. I teach people to turn their water mana into ice mana by telling them to focus on the cold."
  107.
  108. He lets his breath come out as a vapor due to the cold around him, "Ice mana is always going to be cold. A specialist like me causes the temperature to drop with their presence. But that's, as I said, specialist. As someone who wants to learn a few spells, start by pulling an orb of water and focus on it."
  109.
  110. He extends ahand showing a water like mana which then he changes to pure ice mana, an icy blue white energy, then extends his hand to show off that move people hate, "This? It's all pure ice mana."
  111.
  112. (Khaine Vanador)
  113.
  114.
  115. [14:04] She lowers her head slightly, bringing her palm towards her field of view, watching her opened hand in deep thoughts inside of her mind, reflicting about what he just said, the cold nature was something she had to work forwards, a pretty interesting given the fact that she mostly Works with Water under normal temperatures...
  116.
  117. Hopefully she can find a way to reduce that a little bit, she had a mentor for that after all. Grella's star wasn't exactly the coldests of things, it was warm and righteous, yet not as hot as fire. For some reason she thought that using the mana provided by her star was not the best way for it...
  118.
  119. Grella was a Water Magi before becoming a Cosmic one, it seems that on that task the girl would have to rely on her own mana alone, not the one that her star is constantly blessing her with.
  120.
  121. "Hmm... So you're telling me i need to focus on the cold? How's Ice mana, is it similar to water, you say?" Grella's extended palm would form a water sphere about four times bigger than her palm, a relatively big one.
  122.
  123. "So i just need to... Focus on the cold, huh? Well, it would be nice if you could help me with that, what about doing what you told me you could do... And drop the temperature around so i can have a proper feel of what it should be?" She asks politely, her eyes closed in constant meditation, digging in her memories about places with cold nature.
  124.
  125. ...Grella have spparred Khaine several times by now, she sure can come up with something out of her memory, she remembers the sensation, however she would still need a bit more time and training in order to make Ice a thing.
  126. (Grella)
  127.
  128.
  129. [14:08] Idly, a short-statured young woman wanders on through. Another glimmering individual is sighted, one eye gazing at the two present within the courtyard. Standing and listening to the questions given by the water-mage, the Magnolian-featured blonde grants a friendly wave to the duo!
  130.
  131. "Greetings! I do apologize for interrupting your training!" They declare in a smooth, cool tone, idly coming to stand off on the side-lines, standing near a stone statue. With that one eye of theirs, they opt to simply spectate the lessons given, though, they'll chime in to ask.
  132.
  133. "Ah! And that glimmering field - that's the Kingdom of Esshar's common type of magic - Astral spellcasting, correct?"
  134. (Delyss Faesseau)
  135.
  136.
  137. [14:08] Anderson cos D'Arnette says, "Training session? Keep it up, Khaine."
  138. [14:13] "Manipulation of the temperature, like I do, requires the person to understand the cold, the winter." With her question he nods. "I can but you need to find this control yourself." Thus he envelopes himself in that cold aura he has. The temperature drops drastically around Khaine.
  139.
  140. "It's mainly the power to control this temperature. But once you learn how to tap into this cold, you'll be able to make ice mana." His aura helped majorly in his arts to use his ice magic, BUT the basic? Anyone can cast it. They just need practice.
  141.
  142. He pulls water all around him and slows down the effect of how he works, he starts to make the water freeze up but keeps it malleable: state of water and ice. Then he extends his hands to create his frost area spell. With the water quickly changing to full ice as he let's the ice frost the area.
  143.
  144. "Try first to focus on making it cold. There are ways to slowly learn how to turn water mana into ice mana as I showed. But there are ways to simply tap into it. Example one of my students used water and learned how to transmute it into ice mana until they got good enough to produce their own ice mana.
  145.
  146. However another student was unable to replicate such because they were used to the water mana, so I started teaching her to focus on the winter cold. Bring it out from your center. Spread it."
  147. (Khaine Vanador)
  148.
  149.
  150. [14:23] She would nod, not really understanding why having a light touch of what it would feel like wouldn't help her, however she choose to stick around with the same method she was before doing, the cold of her childhood, alone in the slums, not just the memory of the winter, of ice itself would come to her upon trying to cast Ice.
  151.
  152. It was more of a symbolic representation of it, of what things that she could consider hard or to bring sorrow to her life, all that represented ice to her. A sigh was thrown out, the Sphere on her hand progressively gets slower on it's movements, before it was chaotic, Always moving with the flow.
  153.
  154. Water is all about the flow, right now, Grella needed to keep the same core natures of Water magic, using them as the basis, yet it had to be stable. Brought by the solid state of water that Ice is, she needed stability, and not the Flow, not for that current situation.
  155.
  156. Progressively her sphere begins to change. The Cosmic Magi didn't say a thing to the newcommer, not because she didn't notice her or because she was simply rude, but because she was way too focused on what she needed to do at the moment.
  157.
  158. "I think i'm starting to understand... Water is the Flow, but Ice is not a fluid, it is stable. It's precisely water in a solid state... Then i should focus on bringing stability to the water, slowing it's fluid nature... Ice mana... Isn't it basically stable, non-fluid Water Mana?" She questions while still doing what she just learned to do.
  159. (Grella)
  160.
  161.
  162. [14:25] Khaine gets closer and touches Grella, his aura making that touch feel like the grasp of winter itself, extremely cold. "Like that, yes."
  163. (Khaine Vanador)
  164.
  165.
  166. [14:26] Aforementioned newcomer idly watches for a moment or two - though, her presence not particularly being noted by the two has the well-dressed youth frown. In a moment or two, departure is had! Idly moving away, and continuing their walk around the city. Red-gloved hands clasp before their form as they see themselves out!
  167. (Delyss Faesseau)
  168.
  169.
  170. [14:31] "Okay, so..." Upon the touch of the winter on her skin, the overall stability of the water sphere on her hand would simply shake for a moment, as she noticed that the way she reminded herself about the cold itself was pretty close, yet somethings could still be refined.
  171.
  172. And that she did, shaping the Water in order to bring it to a more stable place, shifting it's own nature to the point of chaning it's physical state, slowly, the bubble inbetween both her hands would start to freeze, turning into a sphere of ice after roughtly one minute.
  173.
  174. A sigh was given, it wasn't over yet...
  175.
  176. "What should i do now that i managed to freeze this thing? It's way too stable... But i think i might be able to shape it, let me try... Uh..."Grella's hands would approach as she hoped to manipulate the new mana she just learned to wield, her goal was to make the sphere smaller, small steps first!
  177.
  178. It reduces on it's diameter to about half of what it was, then again she brings it back to it's normal state, Grella would repeat that very two moves until the point of getting used to manipulate the Ice energy to the point of making it fast enough to use it in battle, that was her goal after all...
  179. (Grella)
  180.
  181.
  182. [14:37] Not bad but way too stable. Which made it hard to manipulate, except Grella surprises him as she seemingly turns into that malleable version he uses to teach water into ice state mechanics by seeing.
  183.
  184. But Grella had taken another route with it. She forced the ice to be controlled by her and this makes him smile.
  185.
  186. "First person I see that does the same I do since I know ice magic."
  187.
  188. He extends the hand creates a sphere of pure ice. But his control is much higher now as it shapes itself into an icicle that he throws off to reveal, "That is a trick all ice magic who use the aura learn. We manipulate pure ice, but never seen a newbie do it like us."
  189.
  190. He makes another sphere and let's it change into the full frost! That is how much control he has.
  191. (Khaine Vanador)
  192.
  193.
  194. [14:42] Grella shows a happy smile, the girl gets to use both her hands to compress the sphere into a small ball that could fit inbetween two of her fingers by pressing both her hands against it, the girl plays lightly with it while showing a warm, proud smile to him.
  195.
  196. "So... The first step was knowing how to shape ice and how to use Ice mana, right? Now... For the Spells. What do you think i need to do now, huh?" She asks him while playing with the ice ball, throwing it from a finger to the other, throwing it up and catching it in the air...
  197.
  198. ...This kind of stuff.
  199. (Grella)
  200.
  201.
  202. [14:44] Khaine Vanador says, "The basic. Which might take you some time."
  203. [14:45] Khaine makes another sphere and simply clenches it. His icy blue hues glow due to his visionary casting style as he quickly turns a small sphere into a large frost that is the basic of all ice mages.
  204. (Khaine Vanador)
  205.
  206.
  207. [14:55] She blinks quite the few times as he used what was supposed to be the 'most basic' of all Ice magics... Oh well, that was a huge step for someone who just learned to manipulate a sphere...
  208.
  209. Throwing it up again the girl would catch it with one hand again, turnning the Ice sphere into the height of a soccer ball, she would have to think a little bit in order to learn that... Her Mana systems were ready for that amount of information, learning a new kind of magic usually takes a lot of a Magi...
  210.
  211. ...Yet she was ready. Grella was ready for it, or so she thought. They were training ice manipulation for quite some time and she hoped that atleast the easiest of the spells would be ready to be used on the end of the day.
  212.
  213. "Okay so... I compresss the Sphere and... Uh, explode it into a bigger field of ice spikes? Huh..." The Cadet stars slowly, letting the sphere fall to the floor she would first work on spreading it to a wide area.
  214.
  215. For thatshe had to change little bit on how her Ice Mana wa shaped, but within a few tries she managed to cover most of the Area of Effect that technique should cover, yet that would only be useful as a field of ice if she wanted to slow her enemies...
  216.
  217. The hardest part was still to come.
  218.
  219. "Okay... I think i can, uh..." It was still way too slow, Grella did spread thet ice across the Area of Effect, yet she wasn't fast enough to change it quickly into spikes. The girl still needed to make her pool spread faster.
  220.
  221. And there would lie most of the work needed to fullfil that technique's greater deal. Grella had to do basically the same thing she was doing over learning how to create the first step of that skill, the Sphere of water that needed to be dropped and spreaded!
  222.
  223. "Okay... Now for the Spikes..." She was already getting pretty tired out of that, yet the hardest part to her was already done. Grella steps into the ice field with all her might! Infusing her own mana into it right after quickly making the Sphere that dropper into an Ice field, the mana that was infused through her Feet would work on the Spikes part, turning the Ice field into a Spiky one that progressively grew in width, as a wave of Mana was sent.
  224.
  225. ...The technique was done within a hour or two of a lot of practice, but again, she still needed to improve it's speed and maybe how deadly her spikes are, but maybe she'll get there in no time...
  226. (Grella)
  227.
  228.
  229. [14:55] Lax would approach Vanador, raising a hand their way as in greeting them, with a faint smile - said smile might hide some issues, however.
  230.
  231. "Greetings - I hope I am not disturbing. I have a question or two, if you may."
  232.
  233. He'd call out to the adult, taking the Crown off his head - it was a crown of ephemeral thorns, vines and roses, significant in showing his Mastery and affinity in the most Wild of Arts.
  234.
  235. Much like Valero, which might be a hint to Khaine.
  236.
  237. "I am looking for Valero's Vigiliant quarters, as I sent a request to join their squadron as a Cadet, yet I have not received an answer yet. Could you perhaps point me their way, please?" - it seems rather uncharacteristic of him to speak so politely, as if forcing himself somewhat.
  238.
  239. A young anarchist, he was, at least at heart.
  240.
  241. "That if it is not too much of a drag for you, sir."
  242.
  243. And so, glances would be spared between the two individuals, maintaining the same light attitude, as if he would be an actually respecting to the Crown citizen of the kingdom.
  244.
  245. One could simply not stand daring royals, at least not all of them.
  246. (Lax)
  247.
  248. [15:01] Khaine addresses the Cadet, "All of us are headquartered right here. But I'll send message to Exarch Valero as soon as possible."
  249.
  250. He then looks at Grella and chuckles a little. "I can do it because I been using it a lot."
  251.
  252. He walks closer and gently takes her hands. Then he shows her again a more basic form of doing it. "Don't focus on the sphere, focus on the cold." He continues to grip her hands gently as he forms ice mana directly into her hands as his circuits come to life.
  253.
  254. He then slowly spreads her hands but doesn't let go of the ice mana, hues glowing fiercely, instead he shows her how to use it to make the ice spread out from her as the mana itself does as commanded.
  255. (Khaine Vanador)
  256.
  257.
  258. [15:03] A nod is being offered, but a nod only, towards Vanador, Lax seemingly thankful enough to the offered assistance. "Thank you sir, I will remember this. Pardon me for disturbing your practice, and do not allow me to waste any more of your time."
  259.
  260. With that, he would turn onto his heels, essentially pivoting, starting walking towards the main gate, as in leaving, if not addressed.
  261. (Lax)
  262.
  263.
  264. [15:07] Oh well... The girl was already quite exhausted when he decided to aid her a little bit in order to make her work easier. Hopefully he was there to help her, it was aleady late evening and by the time they started that, they wre training for some hours already...
  265.
  266. His aid was welcome, and she could skip one or even two steps of the technique she was already doing, hopefully that Spell would just waste a lot less mana than it was doing before, Grella was Lucky to have a star looking for her.
  267.
  268. For that sole reason she could keep training her Spirit all day, the issue lied on her physical body, but that she could endure with willpower. Her mind would let go a little bit of the Sphere, using her own mana to spread it, before Grella used the Ice she formed itself, for a time she had forgotten that she just learned how to wield Ice Mana properly, not simply wield 'frozen water.'
  269.
  270. "Huhf..." Doing it that way would shorten her path to mastering the ability by quite a lot, in fact, her goal was no longer that far from reality, it seemed.
  271. (Grella)
  272.
  273.
  274. [15:10] "Just practice. Once you understand that you are actually wielding the cold, the ice itself will come to your command. Like the ones I make just jut out from the ground. Ice is a very interesting magic in that sense."
  275.
  276. Khaine smiles and decides they do need a break. They been at this for a while. "Take a break so you can practice it, okay?"
  277. (Khaine Vanador)
  278.
  279.
  280. [15:10] Grella says, "Huhf, yeah..."
  281. [15:10] Grella says, "I'll have it mastered in,, uh... No time..."
  282. [15:10] Khaine Vanador exclaims, "All right!"
  283. [15:11] Grella would see herself falling sat on the ground, she lost her strength even to keep standing up, she would be okay anyway...
  284.
  285. "Y-yeah i'mma... Sit here and... Huh, rest..."
  286. (Grella)
  287.
  288.
  289. [15:12] Khaine Vanador says, "Okay."
