Jiwoo is very defensive, strong girl who won’t take no shit from no one. She will defend herself in almost an instant if you say something bad about her or someone she cares for, and because of that she’s made fun of. Not only because of that, but because she’s short people tell her that she should become a housewife. Being a feminist that wants equality, she immediately takes offense to things like that.

She is also rather lonely. Her nature has driven people away from her and caused her sadness. She only has one or two close friends, and is used to people leaving her behind. Her mother died and was sent to her aunt and uncle as a teen, and  her father left them, as well as her sister. She hides these facts with her forwardness and bluntness.

Jiwoo is actually very kind. Once you break through her shell, she will open like a book. She actually hates when she’s rude to people, but she doesn’t know how else to act. Her number one hate is herself for being such a “bitch”, and she wishes she could improve on it. She just needs someone who will support and help her through it.

Jiwoo was born to Mun Taeseong and Sengheu Kiry in Busan, South Korea. She lived the happy life that a child should live, until she turned 8 years old. Her father left her mother, which led to her becoming a drunk. Jiwoo’s older sister took care of her for a while, managing school, getting Jiwoo to school, helping with homework. She was basically Jiwoo’s mother figure, and she loved her dearly. But, after years of doing this, her sister became tired. Tired of school. Tired of emotions. Tired. Jiwoo was 13 at the time she had found her sister “hanging out.” This had major psychological effects on Jiwoo, making her distance herself from her friends and classmates. Her mother came home more often, but that started to become a hinderance. Kiry would arrive at the house and treat Jiwoo as her slave. Finally, Kiry drove home drunk and died in a car crash. Jiwoo had felt no requiem. How could she? She and her mother were never close. When they were together, she was basically a slave. So, she was sent to her aunt’s and uncle’s home. They gave her a real family. A family that loved each other. A family that didn’t break apart. She had gone to school and made friends. She told her story to them, and they left. They told her she did something to deserve that pain and that they didn’t want to be around her. So, Jiwoo stayed away from others and stuck to these words: “Don’t tell them. They’ll hate who you actually are.” She covers up her loneliness and dark past with confidence and defensiveness, when all she needs is someone to accept her for who she is and break down her barriers. She continues to hide herself to this day.
