Why: after the events in the jungle the followers of Aku now knew that they would be targeted, That they would be HATED by the followers of the once great but now dead God of Wine and of course there was still the God of Hope and of course the God of Justice who still walked among the living as well as the vicious God of Lies and the God of Chaos who still walked among the people tricking them with their deceitful ways.

Now only a couple days later the Temple of Aku is visited. A being with a shield that seems to wail as if it was alive. As if something deep inside was begging to be released approached Yoshida. Seeming to desire her to fight. To make her 'feel alive' for some unknown purpose. So Yoshida fought. Believing the opponent to be a rival that had crossed blades with her ages ago. That had pushed her to her absolute brink.

Back then she was victorious.

But now? Now she's on the losing end. Batted around like a child. Torn down with powerful blows that rattle the body and tear through the flesh with unsurpassed ease. All by a beast that appears to have no mind. How can she respect this?! How can she accept a defeat against someone she found WORTHY to cross blades with?

And most importantly of all how could abandon Miu to continue to be a mindless beast? Imprisoned in her own strange armor seeking out anything that will make her feel alive.

Moment: Forced to stand up on her own two feet by the Monster that Miu Seika has become. She's told that they are not done. Though her body is weak and injured. Pain surges through her body as she tries to find some way of continuing the fight. To rip that damned armor from the body of Miu no matter what it takes.

The long story short: This is what happens when you somehow win against a monster and it comes back to bite you in the ass in the form of a possessed rival who wants to feel alive so they come to fight the person that fought them to a stalemate before
