  4. Participants: Todoroki Shoto & Monoma Neito
  5. Date of session: 19th April, 2019
  6. Time duration:  2 hours, 20 minutes.
  7.
  8. [T]: Todoroki Shoto
  9. [M] B: Monoma Neito
  10. [C]: Caller
  11.
  12. [C] ────────────
  13.
  14. [T]: Heroaca radio, All Might.. nippon.
  15.
  16. [M]:HEROACA RADIO, MONOMA NIPPON.
  17.
  18. [T]:Huh, I'm certain you're making a mistake with the introduction line..
  19.
  20. [M]:Hmm? Obviously I didn't! This is the personalized and improved version. You're just dreaming colors, you poor thing.
  21.
  22. [T]:I'm certain that it'd be problematic if I dreamt otherwise.. but I suppose I'll just move on.
  23.
  24. [T]:This is Todoroki Shoto and I'm your-..
  25.
  26. [M]:-I AM MONOMA NEITO, 1-B'S FINEST STUDENT.
  27.
  28. [M]:Unfortunately, I happened to be today's co-host, but of course we ought for a better host when we're given the opportunity.
  29.
  30. [T]:Could you tone it down? It would be quite inconvenient if we ended up losing our audience because of your obnoxiousness.
  31.
  32. [M]:WHAT'S THAT? HAHA. WHO'D WANT TO STOP WATCHING ME?
  33.
  34. [M]:I'm your ace here, if anything they'd get disinterested at your boring personality.
  35.
  36. [T]:That's.. if that occurs, I suppose I will do my best to bring out the most appealing aspects of me to this session.
  37.
  38. [M]:LUCKILY, YOU'RE STARTING OFF WELL WITH HAVING ME AS YOUR CO-HOST.
  39.
  40. [T]:..Let's just get this over with.
  41.
  42. [T]:To my acknowledgement, the script instructs that our first topic is.. the entrance exams.
  43.
  44. [M]:Hmm, the entrance exam you say? Sounds gibberish.
  45.
  46. [M]:You sure it doesn't say that the topic is me?
  47.
  48. [T]:Your name wasn't mentioned from what I've read. To define what was written, it says that we should discuss our experiences.
  49.
  50. [T]:Judging from the vexing enthusiasm, would you like to start?
  51.
  52. [M]:ABSOLUTELY. You hear that listeners? Make sure to get all comfortable, because this is going to be a marvelous story!
  53.
  54. [M]: Now move would you, and give me this..
  55.
  56. [T]: Huh, they can hear you just fine.. you don't need to grab my-
  57.
  58. [M]: -WHAT'S THAT TODOROKI? Sounds like your microphone is having some technical difficulties!
  59.
  60. [M]: You should go get that checked while I indoctrinate them.
  61.
  62. [M]: Alright, listeners. This is quite a tale to be told. To put it simply, the entrance exam for non-recommended students exist of two parts. The written part isn't even worth explaining, I went through that with hands tied behind my back.
  63.
  64. [M]: As for the practical part we were told to kill these shabby robots for points, which despite having to rely on the people around me to use my quirk to the very best it has to offer, I happened to have scored quite greatly if I do say so myself. Honestly, I'm amazed I haven't been among the recommended.
  65.
  66. [M]: What about you, Todoroki? I've received quite some intel about you, I mean there's no way I wouldn't be wary of someone like you.
  67.
  68. [T]: ...I'd appreciate it if you didn't hog my microphone so unprompted, you're loud enough with just one.
  69.
  70. [M]: yeah, yeah. Get on with it already.
  71.
  72. [T]: Right.. as for the recommended exam, I suppose you can say ours differs in some aspects. After our written exam took place, we were instructed to go through a three-kilometer long race.
  73.
  74. [T]: Right.. as for the recommended exam, I suppose you can say ours differs in some aspects. After our written exam took place, we were instructed to go through a three-kilometer long race.
  75.
  76. [T]: Back then.. I was consumed by my father's ambitions to rise to the top, and was distracted to those who reached out to me.. as I ended up placed-..
  77.
  78. [M]: -SECOND, YOU ENDED UP SECOND DIDN'T YOU?
  79.
  80. [M]: HAHA, ISN'T THAT WEIRD?! EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE 1-A'S STRONGEST STUDENT, YOU ENDED UP LOSING TO SOMEONE FROM A DIFFERENT SCHOOL.
  81.
  82. [M]: HAHAHAHA, YOU POOR THING.
  83.
  84. [T]: ...It's not like I was competing with him or anything. But I do acknowledge my unprofessional behavior. If I wasn't blinded by my stupid old man, I perhaps would've made it through the provisional exam.
  85.
  86. [M]: I had almost forgotten about that golden moment, at the end of the day you and your class are just a bunch of troublemakers after all.
  87.
  88. [M]: I must thank you though, for helping my class pull ahead of yours.
  89.
  90. [T]: I don't believe that we are troublemakers, our intentions don't go that way. I suppose these moments are to reflect on.
  91.
  92. [M]: Of course, learning experience matters. Which is why I think choosing me as your co-host was the best way to reach out for someone who's already up on the ladder you know?
  93.
  94. [M]: But enough about me, I shouldn't spoil all the greatness for my precious listeners. It's time to switch it up.
  95.
  96. [T]: Right.. what will you be discussing? I hope I needn't remind you that the producers were emphasizing you to keep it within the guidelines.
  97.
  98. [M]: Hmm? Your lack of confidence in my is quite hurtful, Todoroki.
  99.
  100. [M]: Obviously I wouldn't pick anything out of bounds, I'm a hero aren't I?
  101.
  102. [T]: I see, my apologies for doubting you. I suppose sometimes It's a little difficult to decipher your motives..
  103.
  104. [M]: I see, my apologies for doubting you. I suppose sometimes It's a little difficult to decipher your motives..
  105.
  106. [M]: Now, since I'm quite already the star of the show, you start this time. Make it worth while, time is precious when it isn't spend on me.
  107.
  108. [T]: Huh, alright. Although this is an unusual topic for me to talk about, I suppose you could say my costume is straightforward. I've designed it to support my drawbacks by regulating my body temperate.
  109.
  110. [T]:The jacket.. it's temperature resistant because of the fiber, decorated by little gadgets to keep it in check, which as of recently has been accompanied by wrist guards. I suppose the rest of my costume consists of smaller tools such as medicine, and boots to prevent myself from slipping on ice.
  111.
  112. [T]: My sister insisted of a costume that'd stand out more to the eye, but I suppose I'm more content with the simplicity.
  113.
  114. [M]: Hmm, sounds about boring. You should've listened to your sister, for a hero to be recognized you should stand out. You want people to scream your name, as you drop in the scene with colors bright enough that it oozes out how great of a addition you are to the society.
  115.
  116. [T]: Huh, your costume doesn't have any outstanding add-ons though.
  117.
  118. [M]: You fool! Of course it doesn't. I myself am bright enough to light up people’s frightened hearts. My costume is merely a suit, to display my elegance with a handy stopwatch belt to record the duration of each quirk I copy. It's brilliant, if you ask me.
  119.
  120. [M]: But there's always time for improvement, Shoto. And that is why our class 1-B, is so generous enough to inspire you with our presence.
  121.
  122. [T]: I see, but I suppose that's how we differ in personalities. If being obnoxious and self-absorbed comes with being bright, I'll gladly pass.
  123.
  124. [T]: As for now, I suggest we move onto the calls. I'll put the center open for people to reach out, I suppose.
  125.
  126. [M]: Hmm, the calling service huh? I wonder what marvelous questions will be asked, about ME.
  127.
  128. [T]: Oh, a caller. I suppose I'll
  129.
  130. [M]: -HELLO, LISTENER. IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY, BECAUSE MONOMA PICKED UP.
  131.
  132. [M]: State your name and question, and make it worth while!
  133.
  134. [C]: Hi there, it’s Midoriya! I had a question for the two of you! Is there any unique things the two of you use your quirks for other than training and hero business?
  135.
  136. [M]: A 1-A. I suppose a bit of tolerance can be granted to you, the question wasn't half bad.
  137.
  138. [M]: Unfortunately, I haven't had enough scenario's to flaunt about but granted, I'd use it to help those in need. Such as elders. Imagine a wrinkly hag walking the streets, with groceries too heavy to carry. If there was a nearby quirk to copy, I'd definitely charm her with it.
  139.
  140. [T]: Huh, but if there was no available quirks to assist you with?
  141.
  142. [M]: Quite frankly, my brilliance and beauty is a quirk on it's own.
  143.
  144. [T]: Right.. well, It's nice to see you around Midoriya. As for me, It'd say I use it on effortless tasks to save time for things such as training, or studying. Or when my sister needs assistance with her coffee in the morning.
  145.
  146. [T]: I don't think much of it, using my quirk has become a natural thing to use every day.
  147.
  148. [M]: HAHA, you have a outstanding quirk and yet.. you use it to be an espresso machine?
  149.
  150. [C]: That’s really interesting to think about Monoma! Unexpected and sweet..! I apologize I hadn’t really taken you as the type to do such a thing, but good to hear!
  151.
  152. I definitely understand that Todoroki, your quirk has all sorts of neat and convenient uses, I have a lot more I’d love to ask but I should other callers a chance. Thanks for taking the time to answer you two! Keep up the good work, bye!!
  153.
  154. [T]: Right, and thank you. See you in class, I suppose.
  155.
  156. [M]: Obviously I'd take any chance to become the star of a show. Your class is so close minded.
  157.
  158. [M]: Now who's next.
  159.
  160. [M]: It's ringing, this ones your’s.
  161.
  162. [T]: Right.. State your name and question, you're on the air.
  163.
  164. [M]: You need to work on your enthusiasm.
  165.
  166. [C]: Hewwo! Its Eri! I have a question for you both! What is your favorite sport?
  167.
  168. [C]:I would really love to know! Its okay if you dont have any favorites!
  169.
  170. [T]: That's.. I apologize for the straightforward response. I don't participate in any sports at the moment, as I exercise through training.
  171.
  172. [T]: But I suppose as of recently, I've developed an interest in swimming.
  173.
  174. [M]: Eri? Who allowed a child through the broadcast. But either way, sporting is shabby. I'd rather enjoy investing my time into gambling, or chess.
  175.
  176. [M]: HEY, WANT A TEST ROUND? I'LL INTRODUCE YOU TO WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LOSE.
  177.
  178. [C]: Oh okay! I will go now to give others a chance to call! Well see you both soon!
  179. Gotta go! Bye!
  180.
  181. [M]: bye, and don't return!
  182.
  183. [T]: For someone who helps elders across the street, isn't that a bit too harsh?
  184.
  185. [M]: You shape them into mentally strong beings when they're young, Todoroki.
  186.
  187. [T]: My, my aren't we hot on calls! Lucky listener, state your name and question.
  188.
  189. [C]: Greetings, this is Yaoyorozu Momo from class 1-A! I have a specific question for my classmate, todoroki-san. And I’d like to apologize if it’s too heavy on the heart.
  190.
  191. [C]:As you may know, I’ve been a bit discouraged ever since the sports festival. During times, I sense the same feeling in your eyes and It makes me wonder.. how do encourage yourself to accept your limitations to move forward?
  192.
  193. [M]: HAH? YOUR QUESTION IS MISSING OUT A FEW THINGS.
  194.
  195. [M]: ME
  196.
  197. [C]: I’m sorry to disappoint you, but I don’t think you’ve read it thoroughly. Maybe double-check?
  198.
  199. [T]: I see. I suppose, it's been a bit more obvious than I had thought. At times where my past are being recalled in my thoughts, I often memorize the words Midoriya told me during the festival. The message he gave me that scolded me into accepting who I was, helped me move forward and make what I was given.. mine.
  200.
  201. [T]: It's a matter of gaining confidence, and compromising with what you have and are familiar with. You're an intelligent student, with a quirk that can open up a lot of opportunities for you. All I can say is trust in yourself, after all I voted for you for a reason.
  202.
  203. [M]: Done chit-chatting? You both almost pulled me into a slumber, imagine all the poor listeners wondering where I'd be.
  204.
  205. [C]: I-I see, it’s wonderful to hear that Midoriya has been such a good impact on you. I will remember this, and trust myself.
  206. Thank you for your time!
  207.
  208. [T]: Right.. that leaves us with one more caller left.
  209.
  210. [T]: Huh, hello. State your name and question, please.
  211.
  212. [C]: Hey, Tsu here from class 1-A, ribbit. I have a question for both Todoroki and Monoma. If you could, what aspect of your personality would you be able to improve?
  213.
  214. [C]: Also, I’d like to see more Todoroki and less Monoma, ribbit.
  215.
  216. [M]: The idiocy in both your question and statement is insulting. If anything, I should be hosting every week. Because my personality is bright, intelligent, inspiring, elegant. There is nothing in need of improvement.
  217.
  218. [M]: I symbolize absolute perfection.
  219.
  220. [C]: I know one thing that needs improving, ribbit.
  221.
  222. [T]: That's.. extremely debatable. But I suppose it's best to leave him to ensure the radio ends with the outcome. It's also very pleasant to see you, tsuyu. If there is anything I'd like to improve, It's my social awareness. I believe there are times in class where conversations will be held that I can't quite understand.
  223.
  224. [C]: Yeah, you’re awfully quiet in class, and anywhere else, ribbit.
  225.
  226. [C]: Thanks for letting me ask you both a question. Bye, ribbit.
  227.
  228. [M]: If only she'd have left for good, I'll be disappointed seeing her wonder around the school halls tomorrow.
  229.
  230. [T]: [I]I wonder if being Ill-mannered and self-absorbed is something that comes with being blonde..
  231.
  232. [M]: WHAT'S THAT? THAT'S QUITE A ROTTEN REMARK COMING FROM YOU.
  233.
  234. [M]: ISN'T CLASS 1-A SUPPOSED TO BE ALL INNOCENT, AND RIGHTEOUS?
  235.
  236. [T]: That's.. a far-fetched conclusion, and I apologise if it was rude, it's just a common thing I've seen.
  237.
  238. [M]: NO WAY, THIS IS SOMETHING WORTH BEING CLIPPED. IN FACT, I'LL HAVE THE PRODUCERS GET TO IT RIGHT AWAY.
  239.
  240. [M]: HAHAHA.
  241.
  242. [T]: Huh, you.. you shouldn't-.. the broadcast hasn't ended, sit through the end.. monoma..
  243.
  244. [T]: I.. I apologise for having to close things up so chaotically like this, that idiot ran off without dismissing the session. I am thankful for the audience, and I suppose I'd appreciate it if you'd tune in for tomorrow.
  245.
  246. [T]: I wish everyone a nice day, goodbye.
  247.
  248. [M]: HAHAHA, THIS IS SO GOING VIRAL TODOROKI.
  249.
  250. [T]: Could you cut it off..
  251.
  252. BROADCAST END.
