What qualities do you feel a staff member needs to have? - Of the qualities you listed, which ones do you feel you haven’t been able to uphold?
I feel that a staff member has to be honest to himself and others, and completely unbiased. Staff members also require lots and lots of patience. I have seen (on other servers) plenty of staff members that would be biased towards enemies, and even accepting bribes. I don't want to be like that, and I would hope the rest of the team is not either. Being staff on this server would be very important to me, and its something that I would take very seriously. Staff would also be talking to plenty of people all the time, constantly being asked the same question. Not only that, but they have to deal with everyone's maturity/intelligence level. Personally I feel that I retain all of these qualities fine, and would continue to do so if I were selected to be staff.

Building off the above question, which qualities do you feel you you’re most lacking in? How would this hold you back as a Staff Member? Of those three, I would probably have the most trouble dealing with being asked the same question over and over again, although not by much. I have lost my patience with someone before because they were constantly asking the same question, and I recall calling them annoying. However, if I were to be selected as a staff member, I'd never let myself do something like that, as I wouldn't want to loose the position. As I said in the previous question, being staff would be something I take very seriously.

From everything you’ve learned about this position, players and our server, tell us how you feel you’d make a contribution.
I have seen some staff members who try to connect with the community as much as they can through forums and discord and in-game, but I've also seen some who don't (no offense to the staff team). If I do become a staff member I definitely want to be as active on the forums and discord as much as possible. I want to get as much feedback as I can from people, posting polls/suggestions and taking note. The forums are less active than I remember them being, along with the player base slowly diminishing.

What are some of the lessons you’ve learned over your time as a player on Desteria? How have these molded you into someone who you feel is now ready for a Staff position on our network?
From playing Desteria, I have leared that what is obvious to one person might not always be to anyone else. For example it took me a while to realize Hunter rank had /nick, despite seeing plenty of people in chat use it with the Hunter rank. Something else I've learned is that people are very very competitive when it comes to faction, even if it means breaking the rules. I've heard about countless people being banned for using hacks during tough times (mostly raids, and people in top factions). If I become staff, I want to be as unbiased as possible, while also being very careful not to falsely punish someone or give wrong information. If this means asking other staff members, or other players that have been playing longer than me, I will.

Do you have any previous experience staffing on other servers? If any, what were some of the mistakes you made? What have you already learned about what it means to be a Staff Member?
I have no other experience staffing, although I try to help other players out whenever I can.

What issues and problems do you see with Desteria that bother you, and what steps would you take to remedy them, given the opportunity?
Well the Caden realm (and apparently Besen from what I've head?) is pretty dead right now. I've already asked around a little bit about why this happened, and I plan to more weather I make staff or not. From what I've heard it was either a lot of people in the bigger factions getting banned and too many PvP custom enchants. Another thing I see is that people don't like certain staff members for belief that they are biased. So again, I wanna be the most unbiased and also friendly staff member anyone has seen.

What motivates you to want to become a Staff Member? Be as specific as possible.
I am already able to answer a lot of peoples questions about the server and how certain things, and I enjoy the appreciation coming from whoever I'm able to help. It always feels good being able to help other people out, and I take pride in doing so, weather it be in real life or in game. I also think I could help this server out (as stated in the 3rd detailed question).

I still go to school 7 hours on weekdays(7:30-2:30), along with homework. I'm not very busy most of the time.
