  28. If you want firepower, then there's this rule of thumb. "Link is only as good as the sum you paid for it". Guest posts, PBNs, editorial links. Free links like web 2.0s help and you can see some serp improvements from them, but they are redundant for more competitive niches.

  34. Nargil is right on the money. You get what you pay for is the saying. Those things just don't work like they used to. It's not about quantity as much as it is about quality now a days.

  46. Only way to get some stability is to build a decent link profile that has links in all ranges of authority. Then if a link goes missing or someone blasts you with bad links, you're protected.

  48. Yes, it seems the best way is super relevant guest posting on high DA sites. If you want to rank for the long haul that is or for anything remotely competitive.
  49. Just make sure you look at what kind of stuff that site posts about on a regular basis. That way when you submit a guess post you know what kind to write. Also, make sure that you do just as good and maybe even better than their personal posts. That will help make sure that your posts get approved at a much higher rate.

  51. I create Blogs on my own server with new and expired domains. It takes a bit of time but it allows me to add backlinks fast for my new sites.
