I appreciate the offer to fix the work but I don't think I can trust the technicians second time with things like stripping a bolt and leaving trash in the car let alone poor paint prep that shows through.

The only way I'd go back to get it fixed is if you let me sit in the shop with the techs throughout the repair.  But the repair's going to take time and waiting on a new window regulator(new original only, no aftermarket or junkyard) I'm gonna need a hotel, not a rental or tank of gas.

But I also understand you got a business to run and I don't want to cost you for something you didn't personally screw up.
I'll just think of the loose vapor barrier as a plus since I was looking to do a full audio job.  While I'm at it I'm going to try to align the windows again and the stripped hole will get a nut behind until the regulator goes bad then I'll have a fresh unstripped hole.


With that said....
I am not familiar with the collision repair industry but I do know too much about cars for an average person.  So maybe these, what I call defects, are normal.  But then I should have been notified before, that it is never going to be the same, but only close enough.

I can't write this anymore as I keep checking the list it makes me more upset.
Note to self... Do more myself...
