- Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE (has 1x HDMI, 1x DVI, 1x VGA connectors)
- GPU: Sapphire R7 240 (has 1x HDMI, 1x DVI, 1x VGA connectors, note that it doesn't have a DisplayPort, hence it can't support more than 2 displays)
- OS: Ubuntu 14.04
- Current setup:
- 1x HDMI and 1x DVI connected to GPU, working correctly
- 1x VGA connected to IGP, does not work except for a brief moment at start up, also has a small underscore at top left when I'm using the desktop so it should be "working"
- I looked around and the best thing I found for answer is this:
- In the reddit post above, there was someone who got things working on a different setup, with this xorg.conf:
- I have no idea how the xorg.conf works, and that one doesn't really fit my setup, so I'm hesitant to try it
