  1. George Washington was born on February 22nd, 1732, in Westmoreland County, Virginia. George Washington served as a General and Commander in Chief of the Colonial armies during the revolutionary war. He later became the First President of the United States of America. George Washington lead the his Army into battle against the French and Indians, later killing the French Commander- Coulon De Jumonville. On July 1st, 1754, George Washington surrender to the French at Fort Necessity but returned home to Williams burg and had his name published for his heroic acts. Even though he surrender against the French he still lead a successful mission and never quit what he was doing. In 1758, Washington returned to duty on another expedition to capture Fort Duquesne. A friendly fire incident took place killing 14 and wounding 26 of Washington's men. However, the British were able to score a major victory, capturing Fort Duquesne and control the Ohio Valley. Overall George Washington proved to himself and not only others that he was capable of leading a team into battle. What made him exceptional on the field is that he was capable of getting the job done, and successfully lead his men into battle.
