  21. You can find some for $40/Year, but you'll need to provide more information in terms of how much resources. SSD Diskspace, RAM, and what others addons you seek for... $40 is cutting it low so don't expect a lot, also the support is one of the biggest expenses for a hosting company, so with a low budget you might be getting either delayed or subpar support.

  23. my friend is using siteground hosting but thats expensive he suggested me. i said support is awesome they provide. another one using godaddy that seems cheap but support is poor. not only that, some times his web gets slow down to.. goes off! now i am confused about where to go

  26. The reason why support is good at SG, is most likely due to the price of the packages. You can expect to pay peanuts and get a state of the art service. It's just not possible.. are you willing to increase the budget atleast to about $50 or $60 per year? There are providers that even give educational discounts if it's for a student project.

  33. You can find something in your budget, I just personally wouldn't recommend any providers as they cannot and will not be able to sustain profits to continue running their business, yet alone provide true support.

  36. You can always narrow your choices down to those hosts that offer a 30-day, no questions asked, guarantee. Not sure if Siteground offers that, but GoDaddy and others do, even longer on annual payment plans!

  46. Downtownhouse are very good and support is very good, they have jetbackup installed on cpanel what came in handy a few times when I messed my website up.

  50. I would say buyhared is decent but sometimes you need support and sometimes not all hosts do it. Maybe try the offers section for affordable hosting with support after all maybe there is some host you want to try and this is a good way of doing it and who knows they may give you a cheaper price if you are a student. Better to look around than go with one someone says. I mean we all have different experiences when it comes to hosts and hosting.

  59. Few months ago I bought a shared hosting package from StableHost located in Sweden (IP 185.76.67.120). Had some problems with FTP. Support said it is working but it is not. Few weeks ago FTP worked untill few days ago, but from the beginning the only way to connect to this server with Filezilla was by setting Encryption to "Only use plain FTP (insecure)", now I can't connect at all to the server. Support is fast and but can't do much to help.

  63. Stablehost WAS good, but it is worthless now. As soon as you pay, technical service is close to non-existent. Just a slow chat after a long waiting queue with a short reply and no solution at all. AVOID it!
