sudo apt-get install tzdata

sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

Set your timezone location

Then hit Enter, and you will be back at the prompt

Now to sync the clock type   sudo ntpdate pool.ntp.org

 

In about 10sec, your clock will sync with the ntp server and your time will adjust.
