**Demon's Souls**

*Positives*

+ Had the best atmosphere
+ climbing mechanic was great
+ i would argue that boletaria palace is the best designed level in the series.

*Negatives*

- pretty easy
- Had the worst healing system in the series
- quad directional rolling
- fucking awful soundtrack, although there are a few truly great tracks.

**Dark Souls**

*Positives*

+ Absolutely incredible cohesive world design
+ great lore
+ great dlc
+ great boss fights

*Negatives*

- Had some of the most tedious unfinished sections of the series
- post O&S is a slog to get through.
- quad directional rolling
- *sprinting* "**oh no i need to dodge real quick**" *jumps and takes counter damage*

**Dark Souls 2**

*Positives*

+ Had some of the most aesthetically diverse and beautiful levels
+ Had the most refined combat system
+ Had fucking goddamn incredible DLC
+ Had the best healing system (estus/lightgems) in the series
+ best lore imo
+ best pvp
+ most build diversity
+ best fashion

*Negatives*

- graphics downgrade pisses me off to no end
- the odd deadzone.
- shrine of amana is garbage gameplay wise.
- mostly forgettable music

**Dark Souls 3**

*Positives*

+ some great dlc.
+ a few good boss fights.
+ pretty good music.

*Negatives* i dont like dark souls 3 ^ha^ha^ha^ha^ha^ha

- Complete linearity hurts sense of exploration
- An abundance of bonfires capable of fast travel kill the tension of journeying around the world.
- Too much fan service, not enough doing it's own thing and adding to the lore.
- horrendous pvp
- lol whats stamina conservation
- lol whats poise
- im not a fan of the lack of a password phantom cooldown timer.

- speaking of armor, why can't i upgrade armor anymore?
