  1. The DNS on each device is handled by the hosts file. On a Linux or Mac device (includes Android and iPhone) it is located in the /etc/hosts directory.

  3. On a Windows machine it can be found under %windir%\drivers\etc\hosts

  5. %windir% refers to C:\Windows\System32
