this one actually got published in a book, I don't think it's that good, but meh.

I'd give my life for you, my dear
and in my heart you're always near
to keep me warm and safe it seems
your perfect face, it haunts my dreams
and were I to try to find
a place contained within my mind
where you are not my perfect angel
then I am guaranteed to fail

Mere words are not enough, you see
for the fondness of my memories
to accurately be portrayed
I'd never want it another way
Because in all my life, it seems
I have no more joyous memory
than of all of the times we've shared
all is perfect when you are there
