  1. Name: Dr. Gnanamani Chitra (given name Chitra)
  2. Birthday/Age: February 11, 1952
  3. Pronouns: She/her
  4. Appearance: https://i.imgur.com/aFg33qu.png A British Tamil woman in her mid 60s. Chitra carries most of her weight in her stomach, and has wiry-muscular limbs and a scrawny neck. Her skin is variously tight and slack, medium-dark in tone, and dappled with moles, wrinkles, and the occasional burn scar. She has a tendency to hunch, and is typically spotted in her lab coat, its pockets spilling over with pencils and scraps of paper, with whatever clothes are most convenient to wear underneath. A shock of salt-and-pepper hair bursts forth from above her goggles, which rarely leave her face. She never, ever takes off her gloves. 6' at full height.
  5. Personality: Passionate, hypercritical, and incredibly weird. Dr. Gnanamani is a pioneer in biopharmacology, and is known in her field for her intellect, breakthroughs in pharmaceutical research, and ability to burn through grad students like nobody else. The pride hasn't gotten to her head -- in fact, it seems like she couldn't care less about making herself more palatable to other people. Still, under the layers of strangeness and misanthropy, it's undeniable that Chitra's got a brilliant mind at work.
  6. Skills: No people-skills to speak of, but has laser-sharp focus for anything that gets her attention. An extensive knowledge of human anatomy and medical science, with a side helping of botanical science. Can act under pressure and command a crowd if motivated. In excellent health, and, like, upsettingly strong. Her secret weakness is an intense case of germophobia.
  7. Extra: Chitra's lab assistants applied for a grant to send the Doctor overseas so they could get a fucking break for once. It took kicking and screaming to drag her away, but they finally managed to strap her down on the plane and send her off. Despite its relevance to her field, Chitra never deemed the Ark important enough to pop up on her radar, and didn't read the brochure until twenty minutes ago, either, so...there's that. Her voice ranges from guttural and growly to sing-song, with a strong British accent. To her dismay, kids and animals adore her. Cackles impressively. Smells sterile. Lesbiab
