- [16:59] Slithering into the Cambion's workshop, she looks left, she looks right. Making sure none noticed her, for a number of reasons. Far too many desired her attention for her liking, as of late. Not when she has an abundance if important matters already sitting on her plate.
- Which, is why she is here.
- "I require something."
- At first, it was an idea she found humorous. Something, admittedly, a bit silly. But that in itself could prove to be in her favor. For none would expect the objects true capabilities. Subtly isn't something she uses often, finding that being bold and direct is more often the easiest way to go.
- But, with the amount of people lurking in the shadows, plotting, being dreadfully predictable and boring.
- She opts to outdo them in their very art.
- "A cup." The naga smiles. "Made from durable metals. Something light, and easily enchanted. Let's say...mythril and the magicgold. The design...fairly simple. It needs a chamber in the bottom, with very thin holes. That will hold..."
- She lifts a basketball sized orb, full of water. Yet, should one peer inside, that orb seems to be a bottomless well. "I can compress it easily enough. I simply need you...
- To make the cup, and enchant it."
- (Veles)
- [17:27] Aerymi had already assumed the serpent had arrived requiring something. There would be little reason to seek her out, otherwise. Giving a small nod...she is then rather clearly shocked by the statement as to what it is Veles requires.
- Regardless of the oddity that is this creation, in her dining area is hardly the place to speak on it. Gesturing the lamia to come, she'd lead them into one of the back rooms- outfitted to be a small forge.
- Sitting in the chair at the study desk, she prepares to write- then signals Veles to continue the description of what is required.
- Durable, light, enchantable- mythril and orichalcum fulfill those criteria easily. She pauses as the design is explained- switching from jotting down notes, to making a rough sketch of the design of the cup as Veles has envisioned it.
- Turning to look at the upheld orb of water, the Cambion gives a small nod- that seems to be something that the lamia has in control. She would need to be present as it's made, of course...it would be an interesting look into Veles' abilities, at the very least.
- Resting her writing hand against the desk, Aerymi turns from the desk to look at Veles. "Alright. The form of the cup is simple enough- do you need to be able to remove the water from the chamber? If not, it'll be far less complicated- won't need any moving parts."
- A few taps against it as she thinks, glancing just upwards- Veles might notice there's more pep to her voice, some light within her gaze- then continues with a second question.
- "Oh, I'll need you to tell me what enchants you want. There are some I can assume, but I want to check. Wouldn't do to miss something you wanted because I didn't ask."
- (Aerymi)
- [17:35] She follows along, slithering into the forge. Perhaps, her first time ever truly entering one. Regardless...
- "Yes, that's why the holes in the chamber were requested. It'll keep the orb locked inside the cup, but allow the water I draw from the orb to filter through." Veles does notice the light within her eyes, keeping her thoughts to herself in the moment.
- At the very least, she now knew how to keep this Cambion's happiness levels elevated. Perhaps, reducing the chance of betrayal. In regards to enchantments, the demon hums.
- "Water. While the main objects that'll provide this things power are tainted with the occult...I've a great deal of control over that art. My prowess with the manipulation of water...
- Is considerably weaker."
- Something she hoped this unassuming object would remedy.
- (Veles)
- [17:56] The Cambion had meant something else when questioning if the water needed removal- yet got her answer, anyways. A quick notation is all that follows the answer of her first question, only a moment glanced towards the parchment on her desk.
- Following the second? Aerymi turns to the desk, and begins to write. Despite the major materials being steeped in occultism, the cup itself required runes and enchantments to empower, and enhance the manipulation of water- that will take some research to figure out the best layout and arrangement...
- Questions answered, it's time to shift from making notes to designing the cup. It will take more time than she imagines Veles has now to design the inscriptions- so the base form will do.
- Flipping the parchment, she begins to draw, starting from the front profile of the cup. It's simple- the walls of the cup gradually slant outwards. A line traced up the side notes that it will be ~7" tall, and one traced along the top listed as ~3" wide.
- At the bottom, there's a small section that has been separated from the main portion of the cup- a smaller line alongside lists it as half an inch in height. The front profile accomplished, her hand moves just below the first sketch, and draws a circle- followed by many, evenly spaced circles within it. A thin arrow leads from the segmented line, directed towards it- it's a drawing of what the chamber's top looks like.
- The other two sketches made are mostly circles- one, a bird's eye view, showing the different in width at the top and bottom of the cup. The second, from below, with notes detailing at exactly what angle the sides slope outwards.
- When she's finished, she places her pen to the side of the paper, and picks it up, displaying it towards Veles.
- "Does this fit your needs, Lady Veles? I'll note- this is just a rough blueprint, meant for the making of the cup itself, not how it will look when finished."
- (Aerymi)
- [18:10] She waits, patiently, without complain. Well aware that perfection doesn't occur overnight. Mentally organizing what she needs to take care of next, as she waits. Dissecting Sienne, preparing for the trip to Ester Isle, claiming a faction of demons as the towers own, and the expedition to uncover Irkalla.
- Noting those as her current priorities, outside of this small object, to enhance her own prowess. Making it easier to deal with all who choose to resist progress.
- Who resist change.
- As the parchment is offered to the naga, she stares at it for a while. Frowning, while musing over her thoughts. A larger object would make the compression of the orb easier, but it'd lose any semblance of subtly should it appear to be nothing more than a durable cup.
- Thus, she nods.
- "This will do just fine, yes."
- (Veles)
