  1. NOTE: I didn't expect to post a WIP this week, and I've been super busy with school, so none of this is edited yet. I'll definitely review everything before I post a proper draft. I've also got a lot more than what I have here, but there are a lot of really rough notes, and there's some stuff I'm not comfortable sharing yet.
  2.
  3. [Awesome 5D's image]
  4.
  5. Riding Duel. That's the Duel that evolved in the world of speed.
  6. There are those who risk their lives and bear legendary birthmarks.
  7. People call them 5D's.
  8.
  9. [Jump introduction]

  24. Drop-In Perks:
  25.
  26. Synchro Regulator Open! All Clear! [100, First Free (then Discount) for Drop-In]
  27. Each time you take this perk, choose an aesthetic or theme. You can voluntarily apply this aesthetic to any monster summoning and supernatural abilities you perform. Now, you too can rant about flight control and ground support while you play card games.
  28.
  29. Yusei! YUSEI! [200, Discount for Drop-In]
  30. Although you likely possess the potential to be the main character of any story, sometimes it’s fun to adopt a supporting role. You can sense when the protagonists are in danger and approximately where to find them. You also have a knack for arriving just in the nick of time.
  31.
  32. Malefic [400, Discount for Drop-In]
  33. Although many cards are mass-produced, there are unique cards associated with individual Duel Monster Spirits. When you play such a card, you are also summoning that monster’s soul to your world. You possess Paradox’s ability to seal a Duel Monster Spirit by targeting its holographic or material form with a specially created blank card. This results in a loyal Sin or Malefic version of that monster, while the original artwork fades and the card can no longer be played. Although this transformation can last indefinitely, it can be dispelled. If another duelist gains control of the monster for just a moment, they can instantly remove the curse.
  34.
  35. Limit Over Burning Top Double Delta Accel Synchro Summon [600, Discount for Drop-In]
  36. Were you sent to this world to defeat Iliaster? Well, they should certainly fear your unique summoning technique. Maybe it’s an evolved form of an existing summoning method, or perhaps it’s something alien like the XYZ and Pendulum summons of alternate realities. Playing these cards may have additional requirements, such as maintaining a specific state of mind or possessing some supernatural ability. Regardless, your powerful monsters can fend themselves against Iliaster in ways the Synchro Monsters of this world cannot. As long as another duelist meets the requirements for your technique, you can teach it to them. Finally, you get a special theme song that fits this technique perfectly.
  37.
  38.
  39. Satellite Perks:
  40.
  41. Motorcycle Physics [100, Free for Satellite]
  42. When you’re on a motorcycle, physics seem to work differently for you. Wanna ride down the side of a building? Go ahead. Jump over a pool of molten metal? You won’t have a problem landing. If there’s a cool stunt you want to do on your D-Wheel, you’ll likely pull it off.
  43.
  44. Junk Warrior [200, Discount for Satellite]
  45. You now possess Yusei’s engineering and programming skills. If some kid randomly showed up and asked for a motorized skateboard to play Riding Duels on the highway, you’d get it done in under a day. Also, as long as you understand how a machine works, you can swap out non-essential, non-supernatural material components for cheap, mundane alternatives without a significant drop in performance. Finally, a use for those wire clothes hangers!
  46.
  47. I will save the future! [400, Discount for Satellite]
  48. You’re the leader of your own duelling team. You can hand out special marks like the Signer Marks or Rune Eyes to your teammates, allowing all of you to sense when and approximately where one of you is in danger. However, you won’t know who is actually in trouble, and the mark will activate even if you don’t want it to, so try not to hand out too many of these.
  49.
  50. Like Yusei, you’re also great at resolving team dilemmas with symbolic duels. Is everyone feeling uneasy about the team splitting for a few years? Have a final showdown with your rival so that everyone can commit to a new path forward.
  51.
  52. Finally, if people warned you of an approaching danger, your team, especially you, has a good chance of changing the future. Although you may have some close calls, you draw just the card you need so often I wouldn’t be surprised if the Crimson Dragon was stacking your deck.
  53.
  54. Clear Mind [600, Discount for Satellite]
  55. Although Moment and Yusei Particles may seem like a regular energy source, they are a self-aware force that can read emotion. The exceptionally rare Clear Mind ability allows the user to control Moment with their heart, an ability you now possess.
  56.
  57. Clear Mind can only be used when travelling at high speeds, such as while riding a D-Wheel. Your mind must also be clear, free of negativity even when faced with great dangers and improbable odds. When these two conditions are met, you can briefly enter the world of speed, allowing you travel short or great distances. However, Clear Mind’s greatest ability can be activated through the use of a special blank monster card. Activating this card inside the world of speed will allow you to temporarily summon new monsters and special variations of existing monsters discoverable only through this technique. This card symbolizes your ability to perform Clear Mind. Although you only have one, you’ll automatically get a new one if it’s stolen or destroyed.
  58.
  59. At first, you’ll only have access to basic Clear Mind, allowing you to perform a regular Accel Synchro Summon. With some training, it’ll evolve into Top Clear Mind, Over Top Clear Mind, unlocking Delta Accel Synchro and Limit Over Accel Synchro. However, you’ll likely discover more variations of this ability if you combine it with other summoning techniques.

  62.
  63. >Just a couple items I want to share right now.
  64.
  65. Mask [100, Free for Drop-In]
  66. This is a neat mask that covers your entire face. Although it doesn’t appear to have eyeholes, you can see through it as normal. When you wear it, people are less likely to recognize you. Oh, and if they’ve never met you before, they’re REALLY not going to recognize you.
  67.
  68. [...]
  69.
  70. Team Uniforms [100, Free for Satellite]
  71. You now have a machine that can produce outfits and motorcycle decals emblematic of your team. If you don’t have a design in mind, the machine will come up with something cool. These items will be completely appropriate for use in the World Riding Duel Grand Prix. If you redesign your team’s branding later on, these items will all transform to reflect the new design. If you want to assign a different team for the machine, all items again will be updated.
  72.
  73. Derivative Duel Disk [200, Discount for Satellite]
  74. Like how Yusei created his Duel Disk by modifying the classic KC mass production Disk, your Duel Disk integrates the technology and features of an existing model. This can be any Duel Disk that appears in the 5D’s setting or exists in a chronologically earlier time. Examples include Z-one’s oversized duel system, the Duel Academy Duel Coats, the various organic Duel Disks, the prototype D-Pads, and Doma’s Chaos Duel Disk.
