Things seemed to have been going just fine.  Or at least...as fine as they could be going in a world being taken over by giant behemoths.  But, it was a day in the life for Eren - he did not like it in the slightest, but he’s certainly come a long way since the beginning.  Going from a lowly cadet trainee to being an asset within the Scouts...still, rough times were the trend of the day, and this day was no different.

In order to keep himself sharp, and hone his skills so that he may fight the Titan onslaught without having to rely so much on his Titan ability, he’s taken to training in the woods.  He is already skilled with his blades, but his abilities with the gear used to propel him through the air don’t exactly bring the word ‘graceful’ to mind.

This was different however - as he flew through the air, Eren suddenly felt an unknown force pulling him forward.  And this was long before he’d stopped expelling gas from his canisters, letting his momentum carry him further before launching his grappling hooks into another tree.  However, despite his attempt to do so, the force resisted.  In an instant, he was blinded by a white light and found himself crashing headfirst into a tree.  And while he assumed that he’d crashed, when he opened his eyes...it was clear that he had not hit any of the trees in those woods.  Because he was no longer in those woods- and though he was now upside down on the ground, leaning against a tree, he’s fairly certain that these strange creatures aren’t his vision playing tricks on him.
