The SADOC Correctional Officer Exam consists of two segments of written questions. 5) U.S Armor Concealable Correctional Vest: A stab-proof vest worn on the chest and the stomach. In addition, protection from less-lethal rounds, taser cartridges and blunt objects.
6) Motorola APX 4000: Used as an internal radio to communicate with other correctional officers and report situations. Moreover, used as an external, departmental radio to communicate with other law agencies.
7) SureFire P2X Fury: Illumination when searching a cell or when the power goes out. Also, it can be aimed at the inmates' eyes to baffle aggressive inmates.
