  1. The night was blustery; snow on the ground blowing every which way. The temperature was very easily below zero in the land. There was not a soul outside. No one would dare go outside, with such a storm brewing. One single, albeit small building, was still alive and strong through the torrent weather. A small pub hand-made of beautiful fresh oak,had their lights on, sure and bright. If you listened carefully, you could here the soft sounds of music passing out through the slightly foggy window.
  2.
  3. Inside of the scanty pub, it appeared to be a very homey place. The bar, pressed against the back wall with many stools. Small coffee tables were scattered around, with cushioned chairs stooped low to the ground. There were rugs made of the deep, thick coat of a late Grizzly Bear, and a roaring fire place. Unlike the outside, the small place was warm—cozy. The silver stone floor was a shocking cold to bare feet. It could definitely be a homey place, if not for the eery presence it gave.
  4.
  5. The place was filled moderately. A good number of people sat at the bars drinking ale or some other type of beverage, while others sat on the cushioned chairs. One or two couples, even sat cuddled together on the rugs, with a worn throw blanket around them as they whispered to each other and giggled with bright red faces.
  6.
  7. In the far back of the pub at one of the coffee tables sat three young men. All different in complexion, but still similar. Similar, as all three of them had large glossy black wings sprouted from their backs. It was not unusual for different creatures to come to the pub. In fact, it was quite common to see a centaur, or even a person who looked simply human until they transformed into a werewolf right before your eyes. Half breeds and Unnatural creatures were the way of life in the place.
  8.
  9. The tables surrounding the winged men stayed empty. Their kind were not welcome, as they often brought destruction and havoc. Dark creatures they were. If you asked a priest, he would tell you they came straight from the pits of hell. Demons. Soulless. Though they were here for business, not to make mis-manner.
  10.
  11. The one that seemed to sit at the head of the small table had a mop of brown curly hair on the top of his head, wild looking. There was a deep expression on his face, wrinkles forming on his forehead as he concentrated. Hands clasped together in front of his mouth, he appeared to be contemplating an important matter. His fierce golden eyes would flicker back and forth between the other. When he spoke, it was a deep baritone, that hinted that he was so much older than what he looked. “These women...They're different than the others, correct?” The two blonds nodded their heads simultaneously. The curly haired man paused for a moment. “How do you expect us to capture them?” He questioned them, an eyebrow arching up in the process.
  12.
  13. One of the others sat up straight eagerly, and his bright blue eyes sparkled with mischievous ideas. “With simple charm!” He declared, almost boisterously. His loudness earned a sharp hiss from the supposed leader. Upon hearing, he ducked his head for a moment and ran a hand through his cropped black hair. It didn't take long for him to rebound from his hushed scolding. “It would be the best part of this whole thing right, Kaiden?” The blue eyes turned to the man at the head. “Rae?” He addressed the other male, who had yet to speak.
  14.
  15. At this time, the last male seemed to find his voice. “Hardly,” He snorted, brushing untrimmed blonde hair from his face. “You're young, Seth. Too young to understand what the real fun is. You'll find out when your leash is slackened a little” He promised with a curt nod. “You have a lot to learn, and this is only lesson number five.”
  16.
  17. Kaiden piped in, “leave the capture to Rae and I, kiddo.” He released a rough chuckle before clearing his throat. “A hundred years is hardly long enough to know all the tactics. Just because Apollyon tagged you along with us, does not mean that you get to be the big-shot.” He emphasized.
  18.
  19. Seth slouched back in his seat with a loud huff of air. A spoiled “teenager” not getting what he wanted. Being the slight empathic, Rae reached over and ruffled the boy's hair. “Don't worry. He loosens up, I promise. Otherwise I would've stuck around with him” He said in a undertone. “You'll get to do something, or this really isn't a lesson” A grin broke out on his face.
  20.
  21. Kaiden, obviously a little miffed at the reassurance Rae gave Seth, rolled his eyes and crossed his arms over his chest. “Lets go,” He declared, standing up. He stood at about six-foot-one, and had a strong stance. Rae stood up next, a good two inches smaller than his friend. And lastly, still disappointed, Seth stood up in a slight sulk. He was near the same size as Rae, though he was hunched over.
  22.
  23. Kaiden's large black wings looked angelic, except for the color. The stretched out until they wrapped around his person, and in a puff of gray smoke, he vanished. Seth and Rae followed in suit, their own puffs causing a haze in the pub, and smelt faintly of ashes.
