  2. Automatic Method: For iPhones and Samsungs + other brands, if your device is not found on the list, use to Manual Method

  4. 1. Go to any of the sites Otterbox.com or Lifeproof.com

  6. 2. Go to Support, then Warranty

  8. 3. Select Mobile Cases and Accessories and then select either at a "Retail Location" or "From an Online Retailer" only

  10. 4. It will then give you the option to choose the case you want. Put a random, reasonable purchase date. Don't put the purchase date to be 2019 when the phone came out in 2020.

  12. 5. Put your shipping address and everything and pay the shipping fee of $6.99 and you will have your case delivered.

  16. Manual Method: For other phones not listed on the website, also might be able to get rid of the shipping fee.

  26. Keep in mind that the live chat hours are very short for both companies. From 10am to 2pm MT, Tuesday to Thursday. You can also try to contact them via email but chat is best.

Explain you bought the case recently from a retail location (BestBuy) and that you had a crack on your case on one of your corners and just describe the damage to make it more believeable (ex. around 1 cm crack, would expand when I put the case onto my phone, very loose etc.)

  32. 5. Also state that you threw out the case since it was unusable and didn't know about the lifetime warranty beforehand. You're friend/family told you about the warranty after you threw it out and that is why you contacted them. Say you're very sorry about this, you didn't know and stuff. Be apologetic in general.

  34. 6. Agent would very likely process your replacement and in my case they got rid of the shipping fee of $6.99 so it was free. Stick to your story

  36. 7. If it doesn't work, try it with a different agent. guarantee it will work.
