- >Show up at your first day of school
- >After introducing yourself to the class, you seem to get a few stares
- >You can tell there are some girls here who are already looking to get in your pants
- >You duck into a seat near a rather human-looking girl
- >Her long black ponytail catch your attention
- >As for her face...
- >She's wearing a sick mask. And the glare from her glasses makes it particularly hard to see her eyes
- >But she seems to have elf ears
- >She must be an elf
- >Well, it's a nice middle ground between human and rape-train
- "I hope you don't mind," you casually tell her
- >It seemed to have frightened her somewhat
- >"Huh? Uh...Don't mind...what?"
- "That I sit here. You know, that I sit next to you from now on."
- >She turns her head away from you quickly
- >You can see a bit of blush on the bridge of her nose--the only part of her face exposed to the elements
- >"Y-Yes! I...I'd like that very much..."
- >For the faintest moment, the glare from her glasses had gone, and you could catch a glance at her eyes
- >Her cerulean eyes are beautiful to look at, if only for a fleeting moment
- >You drop your pencil trying to pull out your notes for class
- >"L-Let me get it for you," she eagerly says
- >Picking up the pencil, she gives it to you with both hands, gently closing your fist around the pencil
- >Apparently at the same time, she also managed to wrap a red string around your pinky
- >The other end of which is wrapped around hers
- >How did she do that?
- >"Kuhuhu...now we're connected, you and I~..."
- >She gives a shy smile
- >You can't see her mouth, but her lifted cheeks tell you as much
- >Do you untie the string from your pinky?
- >Do you leave it there?
- >You're not sure what move to make here.
- >Eventually lunch bell sounds
- >She swiftly cuts the string with a kunai she had kept with her before vanishing without a trace
- >Who...
- >Who the hell is this girl you're sitting with?
- >For the next few days, you saw that she was absent
- >But you could feel her presence everywhere
- >In class, you often caught yourself staring at the class locker behind you
- >During practice, you could swear you see someone on the roof
- >Only to double-take and find no one there
- >At lunch, you isolated yourself in a dark room with chairs blocking the door so you can eat in peace
- >That was your only moment away from her invisible gaze, you felt
- >It wasn’t overwhelming, per se. If anything, it was annoying
- >Charming--flattering even--but annoying
- >On the plus side, you haven’t run into any stray girls walking back home recently
- >One day, sitting in that dark room, you feel someone creep up behind you
- >A pair of arms hugs your body from behind
- >Resting its chin on your shoulder
- >You almost panic until you hear its voice
- >”Kuhuhu~…So this is where you’ve been hiding.”
- >Then you realize…
- >It’s that elf-looking girl again
- >Then you panic internally
- >”Don’t worry. I know you need at least some time to yourself.”
- >She puts her head to your ear
- >You can feel the fabric from her sick mask rubbing against your ear
- >”Hey...do you ever play with yourself in here?”
- >What?
- >”I’m sure it’s quiet enough. Dark. No one can see you.
- >Uncomfortable
- >”I’m sorry, that was a weird question. It’s just that…”
- >She catches a whiff of your neck, and says
- >”I really love your scent…Anon.”
- >When she lets go of you, you feel her presence dissipate behind you
- >You don't tun around, but you can feel she's not watching you anymore
- >You get the feeling this elf girl isn't an elf girl.
- >But more importantly, you try to continue eating your melon bread
- >Acting like nothing even happened
- >...
- >Like nothing even happened
- >After your lunch and mini-panic attack is over, you try and ask some of the guys in your class about this...not-elf girl stalking you
- >You eventually manage to find some guys who know a little about her
- >"Oh, her. She's no elf, dude," a boy by the name of Mick tells you
- >"She's a...special kind of succubus, actually."
- >"She apparently a foreigner from the Eastern region. Goes by 'Shina,'" his brother Vic cuts in
- "So she's a succubus called...a Shina?"
- >"Her name, stupid..."
- >Oh.
- >"She's a Kunoichi. They're like, advanced spies and stuff." Mick says
- >"The best kind of spies, even," says Vic
- "So...what if one of them were to start stalking you?" you ask.
- >They look at each other, then back to you
- >"Oh yeah, I saw that," Vic begins. "She doesn't talk much, but I guess she's taken a liking to you."
- >What?
- >Why?
- "I barely said two things to her, and she started talking about how we're connected."
- >They both have a look on their face
- >You can only tell what that means
- >"And you said she's stalking you, yea?" Mick asks
- >"She's obviously trained in things like stalking, so...of that's the case, and she's after you..."
- >"You're fucked," they both tell you
- >Panic
- "You mean...literally, or figuratively?"
- >"Both."
- >Panic
- >By the time the final school bell rang, you had made a decision to make a beeline for your house
- >You're pretty sure locking yourself up in your room would do fuck all in deterring a ninja girl, but at least you'd make yourself at home
- >You casually stroll through the school grounds until you make it to the school gates
- >At which point you begin a sprint for home, as fast as you can
- >You have to be somewhat careful, however
- >After all, sunset was coming by the time you got out of clubs
- >You run past the riverbank
- >You run through the shopping district
- >You even almost get hit by the damn train
- >You're not stopping for shit
- >But the more you run, the more you sweat
- >The more you sweat, the more you give off your scent
- >You probably should've thought this through more before managing to get a Minotaur on your tail
- >Even at that railroad crossing she managed to fully jump over the train
- >She was chasing you aggressively, you could tell
- >More aggressively than you’d like
- >When you felt her catching up to you, you quickly ducked into an alleyway
- >You sprinted down the alleyway, making a short hop over the small cord that stretched between the alley walls, making sure not to trip over it
- >Climbing the chain link fence, you take a small peek behind you to see the Minotaur hauling ass towards you
- >Paying no mind to the cord you hopped over
- >When she breaks it, you hear an audible *chnk* in its place
- >Suddenly, grenades
- >By the tens
- >Flung into the air as though a trap had triggered them to jump and block her path
- >Where the hell did--
- >!!!
- >The loud blast sends you over the fence, blasting you out to the other end of the alleyway
- >Albeit roughly. You landed with a not-so-gracious roll, and had to compose yourself with a displeasing coughing fit
- >You wondered for a brief moment what that trap was about
- >Who could’ve set it, and how did they manage to in the first place
- >Then you consider it could’ve been that Shina girl
- >After all, those two boys did go into a bit of detail about their methods
- >The idea shocks you somewhat
- >It certainly is frightening to know that that’s what a Kunoichi can do
- >But no time for thoughts right now
- >You are about to dust yourself off until you heard from out of the dirt cloud-hilled alleyway
- >”MOOOOOO!!”
- >You have no time to clean yourself up. You pick up your school bag and run
- >You make it as far as the park until you are unfortunately set upon by the angry Minotaur
- >Smoke seething some her sut-covered body as she lets out a mischievous, eerie laugh
- >”That was quite a trick you pulled there, kid.”
- >She pins your arms down and straddles you so you can’t escape
- >”But I’m assuming you know what comes next, don’t you?”
- >”No…I don’t,” you hear from behind her
- >The Minotaur looks behind her to see a demon girl, clad in dark silk clothing
- >With a black ponytail, knife-like ears, and cerulean eyes, wearing a violet silken mask over her face
- >You were hesitant to believe it was her, given the tail and wings, but...
- >The girl looked down at the Minotaur with a sheer look of contempt
- >”Maybe you could inform me?”
- >”Wh-What the hell!?” the cow yells
- >She gets off of you, taking a predatory stance against Shina
- >”Back off, you...I found him first!” says the cow
- >”You’re really that confident, aren’t you,” Shina responds in a serious, confident tone
- >”Come, then. After you.”
- >The Minotaur begins to throw a punch at her
- >Only for her to counter it, swiping the bull’s arm away and punching her square in the cheek
- >”Heheh…you hit like a bitch, little girl,” the Minotaur shouted, throwing her other arm at the Kunoichi
- >Which is blocked by the girl, leaving an opening for her to strike at the side of her chest
- >”A little harder than I thought.” She keeps trying to throw all-too-predictable punches at this girl
- >Leaving openings for Shina to easily exploit, striking her chest, her shoulders, her jaw, her leg
- >You had to admit, she has some perfect timing to her style
- >It is quite a spectacle to see
- >At least, until the Minotaur, in her frustration, pulls out her hammer
- >”MRRRRGH! That’s it!” she yelled, brandishing her weapon
- >”You’re gonna get crushed for fuckin’ with me, kid!”
- >And with a single swipe, the bull swings her hammer into the Shina’s side
- >She tries futilely to block it, and lets out an agonizing yelp from the impact
- >She is sent hurling into the nearby tree, smacking into it with an audible thud before falling limp, most likely unconscious
- “Shina!” you call out, somewhat hoping she’s still conscious
- >But she just lies there, unmoving
- ”Hah! Shoulda stepped aside when I told you.”
- >You look at the Minotaur, she in turn looking you in the eyes
- >”Now, where were we?” she leans forward, giving you an awful grin
- >You look back over to Shina’s unconscious body, hoping she’ll get up
- >Or at least, you think it’s her body
- >Wait...is that a mannequin?
- >”You ready for some fun, boy?”
- >Before you can even answer, a heavy net falls over the Minotaur from the branches overhead
- >How did...
- >”You fell for that?” you hear Shina say
- >You look up. She is sitting up on a tree branch looking down at the struggling Minotaur
- >”You truly are more foolish than I thought.”
- >She hops down, landing by your side
- >And watches the Minotaur struggle to free herself
- >”You…You little brat! Mrrgh!”
- >Ironically enough, the more he struggles, the more she tangles herself in the net
- >”Mrrgh! MMMMMRRRGH!!”
- >Shina turns to you, grabbing your hand
- >”We should go. It won’t hold her forever, you know.”
- >She takes you by the hand and leads you back towards the school path, somewhere far from the struggling bull
- It’s not until you’re a good distance away from the scene that you stop and say something to her
- “You know…”
- >You begin, causing her to stop and face you
- “Thanks for saving me and all, I suppose.”
- >She doesn’t seem too pleased with what you said
- >”You really ought to be more careful, Anon,” she scolds, in a manner too similar to a protective sister
- >”You should know better than to be so reckless around girls like that. I mean...”
- >She pauses
- >”I know it’s because of me you did something reckless, but...if I didn’t show up, you’d be...”
- “Hey, now, that was just a, a one-time thing. Don’t worry. I won’t let some predator like that catch me off guard again,” you say, trying to cheer her up
- >”You promise?”
- >Well...
- >You might as well say yes
- “I promise,” you say, not really even sure why she’s making you ‘promise’ something like this
- >Nonetheless, she gives a relieved smile in response
- “And, for what it’s worth,” you begin
- “Maybe we could have lunch together tomorrow”
- >Those words create a spark inside her
- >When she looks at you, she gives a mild blush
- >Approaching you, she pulls the silken mask down, revealing the full image of her face
- >And leans in for...a kiss?
- >She closes her eyes, and puts her lips together, slowly inching closer to yours
- >You almost get the feeling of reciprocating her action
- >Until, just before she kisses you,
- >A cloud of smoke covers your vision
- >By the time you clear it from your vision, she’s gone
- >Like she was never there to begin with
- >This feeling, it feels odd
- >You can tell she took this as a sign of you officially going out
- >But rather than feeling annoyed, you feel invigorated
- >Weird
- >So, with a small smile on your face, you continue your walk home
- END
