  1. Surface level beliefs
  2.
  3. On the most basic level, Neo-Cynicism is a right-wing traditionalist philosophy that asserts that society is both an inescapable reality, as well as the cause of most of our suffering. Without the creation of society we would instead live no better within a regime of pure anarchic hedonism. Therefore the goal of Neo-Cynicism is to create a society that will minimize suffering through the enforcement of strict traditions and social norms in order to guide us towards our own self interest. It takes greatly from the works of Ted Kaczynski, and Henry David Thoreau, as well as the cynics of antiquity from which it derives its name, as well as countless other notable figures whether consciously or unconsciously.
  4.
  5. What does it mean to be a Neo-Cynic?
  6. At its core to be Neo-Cynic is to assume that man is truly himself in a state of contextlessness that can be conceptualized as a man being born into nature without any imposition of social norms or culture, that man is truly himself when totally alone. It is then the goal of the Neo-Cynic to build a society which imposes that which is in his best interest through this framework, for example, to be the most primal and archaic definition of what it means to be a man and woman. This is because, through domestication man deviates from his most perfect self in nature. We assert a perfect language and culture exist which would allow for the perfect manifestation of the natural man, and that these existed within the first humans. This system is not only compatible, but complementary to nearly all of the world’s major religions.

  10. Tenets of Neo-Cynicism
  11.
  12. 1. The “natural state of man” is in a state of self emptying through the rejection of the material and embracing of the divine.
  13. 2. Man and animals inhabit the dichotomy of Domestication and Instinct, though man alone is capable of self-emptying.
  14. 3. The path to fulfillment is to achieve a natural state as untainted by the imposition of social and cultural norms as is possible.
  15. 4. To be free from want or need is to be free from the capacity of fulfillment, and fulfillment is derived from the journey to fulfill a want or need.
  16. 5. In his natural state man did not need to seek fulfillment as he perfectly embodied it through his sheer existence.
  17. 6. Man derives fulfillment externally through his interactions with others, thus a perfect atomized existence, though man might find himself perfect in nature, does not lead to fulfillment.
  18. 7. Any amount of people above one will inevitably result in the imposition of social norms.
  19. 8. It is due to man’s entrapment within the material that he must mediate between his physical and spiritual needs.
  20. 9. In order to ensure that the natural state of man is not unattainable to a degree which inhibits the path to fulfillment we must construct a society which presents the natural state of man as its normative social behavior.

  24. Definitions
  25.
  26. Domestication- The deviation from instinct. It is the imposition of context upon instinct, and the obscuration of nature. While animals are in their true nature creatures of pure instinct, humans are instead vessels of the divine, and thus their domestication coincides with their distancing themselves from the divine. This can be characterized by the mind.
  27.
  28. Instinct- The manifestation of the wisdom of the body. Man in his true state had no need for instinct, but due to his material bindings now uses it to seek his material fulfillment through the truths of his nature that it displays to him. This can be characterized as the body.
  29.
  30. Freedom- The ideal of man as asserted by left-wing thought which entails a state without wanting or needing through the manufacturing of a society which suppresses the instinct through the provision of the physical needs. This can be characterized by the body.
  31.
  32. Natural State of Man- The archaic state of being of the ancients as described throughout the world’s theologies. The emptying of oneself as a vessel for the divine through the rejection of material desires. This can be characterized by the soul.
  33.
  34. Contextlessness- The concept of objective truth in the form of being. For example, if we were to birth a man into existence within a perfect vacuum without any stimuli or even the awareness of stimuli, his thoughts and feelings would exist in a state of perfect contextlessness as an expression of only the internal.
  35.
  36. Fulfillment- A state of self-actualization achieved due to the completion of a meaningful task or goal, or even via proxy through others that you hold an emotional investment in.
  37.
  38. Progress Cult- The Progress Cult is the ideology of left-wing thought. It is unconsciously to them, the presupposition that man is truly himself through the manifestation of a post-scarcity material state.
  39.
  40. Religion- At its core, religion is the quest to recapture the authentic state of the primordial man.
  41.
  42.
  43.
  44. Domestication
  45. Domestication leads to self refusal. To co-opt from Freud, it is the Super-Ego, the enforcement of normative social behavior due to its cultural imposition on the self. The goal of Neo-Cynicism is to guide domestication through the manufacture of traditions which enforce the traits which existed within the “natural state of man”. The over-socialization we see today is due to the imposition of a culture of falsehoods which lead to the creation of people who hate themselves due to their inherent nature. The very existence of a culture which results in self-hatred over the inherent qualities you possess both cognitively and physically go to show their failure.
  46.
  47. Progress Cult
  48. The Progress Cult is the acceleration of the deviation of man from his natural state. They seek to destroy the and shape the human mind to fit within their framework that our traditional and social developments are as a result of the subjugation of man to nature, thinking us separate from it. To put it in more simple terms, they believe the blank-slate of humanity lies forward through “progress” and thus do similar to our goal, in imposing social norms that seek to modify human behavior in order to achieve this natural state they desire. This is best exemplified through Anarcho-Communism, in which all borders are destroyed, tribalism is suppressed, and the concept of inherent roles in society is viewed as an unnatural abomination. The Neo-Cynic believes that nations, tribalism, and castes are reflections of the truth inherent within humanity, and that the historical imposition of these was legitimate. We call it the “Progress Cult” because this view of mankind is inherently a religious position, and one in direct opposition to legitimate religion.
  49.
  50. Religion
  51. Legitimate religions conceive of a time of ancients, wise beyond our shallow material understanding of reality where humanity was in touch with itself and the divine. The source of suffering is the fall of man, whether it be Adam and Eve, the opening of Pandora’s Box, the severing of the self from the Christ-Consciousness, or any number of cataclysmic events where our souls were corrupted and have been captured within the material throughout the theologies of all the world religions. We as Neo-Cynics accept that man is already fallen, and seek to preserve what little we can about that truth.
  52.
  53. Hate
  54. Hate is the expression of the dissonance between the natural and unnatural. It is often when you hate someone it is due to an affront to morality, things like murder inspire a pointed hatred. In this way we see the perversion of our times, that many hate themselves for their imperfections. It is their imperfections that are natural, it is their constructed culture that informs their self-hatred which is unnatural.
  55.
  56. Left vs Right
  57. Neo-Cyncism asserts itself as inherently a right-wing ideology, and constructs a framework through which to understand the divide between the left and right. The assertion of the right is that man is most true to himself through some sort of innocence, and that the imposition of tradition is how to maintain and preserve that innocence. The left is reversed, that the ideal state man lies through the other side, that we will reach a point of ease which will allow us to be free from the imposition of society as it gets in the way of fulfillment, and it is the state of needing and wanting that is instead true domestication. So while the right views society in terms of domestication vs instinct, the left views it as freedom vs domestication. This freedom however is an illusion, as it is simply all that is left of the instinct after the domestication of man reaches a point in which he is unable to truly manifest himself due to his reliance on society.

  61. Tangential Beliefs
  62. Without cultural context to inform ambition, ambition is channeled into productive and realistic means, such as hunting or building. The ambition to be an astronaut, for example, is the failure of a society to realistically impose a sense of social normalcy as the amount of people who are capable of becoming astronauts are too small to justifiably espouse as something attainable. This causes the ambition to be invested into dead ends which provide nothing. It is cruel and dehumanizing.
  63.
  64. At large the people of antiquity were able to capture the Neo-Cynical ideal, with Cynics of the time finding their rejection of society itself aimed foremost on the corruption of urbanites. It is the urbanization of the West which has lead to our social decay, and thus Neo-Cynicism finds itself as an ideology nearly as steeped in the divide between the rural and urban as much as between tradition and progress.
  65.
  66. The Industrial Revolution has interrupted the ability for the individual to seek fulfillment, by creating a regime of ease and dependency and desanctifying things such as food and drink. The very act of providing food and drink for the ones you care about was at one point fulfilling enough to enrich the life of the masses in a meaningful capacity. As time goes on, we will be more and more unable to be true to ourselves due to the inability to create meaningfulness.
