Blood Hunt

[16:56] He'd earned a decent boon of experience in his matches over on the field.

His journey to improve himself took him into a diverse path that he'd need to stay along if he sought to get closer to Ixchel's blessings. He'd have his tail idly wafting behind him as he surveyed a few of the faces about the square that he did not know.

Namely then cobalt haired individual that seemed to have some connections to the chieftains. It didn't perturb or make him have any real cause for worry, but it was simply a note of intrigue on a rather normal day.

Flexing his mana to produce a thick and holy stream of electricity about his hand, the teslas would arc and dance along his palm as he practiced. Making advancements in his voltage always felt a lot like finding new ways to hunt efficiently.

Drawing connections to his faith, and producing a subtle spark that always coursed within his veins kept him on a constant directive.

Hoisting himself up, the Nagual would give a glance across a few faces again then go into the forest to find a meal, and see how only coating sparse parts of his body to ensnare and finish off his kills could produce a better and more focused understanding of his magic.

[17:29] Helion yawned, it had gotten rather late in the day and he still hadn't really done much. He thought about venturing back out into the jungle but that trip seemed to hold very little purpose. For now he would stay in the square taking in the lively energy brought about by people gathering. A ways off he saw Kabu and waved to him

"Well met Kabu"

he would say imitating his friends strange way of speaking.

[17:33] Patting his friend on the back, the Nagual would listen in on the conversation ahead of him. It was interesting to hear that a vampire would do so much for the relative urchin that was the Dogslayer.

Kabu didn't mind him much, but honestly he kind've fit in with Gehenna pretty well, though as they were still recovering these days, perhaps it wasn't best to incite any real raids.

"Ghn. Greetings Helion. Accompany me to the City of Crafts." he'd state, hoisting up.

He bore a few fresh scratches from his training earlier, but more than anything he had his own want to do something.

"Interesting that they'd hunt against us so."

[17:36] Helion was hesitant at first, it dawned on him that he had never actually left the Memorial city. However, now seemed as good a time as any to explore

"Lead the way"

He said as he motioned for Kabu to take the lead on their little adventure

[17:43] Salvas Voss says, "I am sorry- to stop you like this but are you two from gehhena."
[17:43] Kabu says, "I'm of the jungle, but I circulate there."
[17:44] Helion says, "I am a child of the stars. But I have been visiting there "
[17:44] Salvas Voss says, "So no relation.."
[17:44] Kabu says, "I fight for Ixchel alone, but his settlement doesn't mean much to me."
[17:45] Salvas Voss says, "I see.."
[17:46] Helion asks, "Why do you ask....stranger?"
[17:46] Salvas Voss says, "Well since your both oddly young - and I fond feel like I need to hurt you both to send a message let it be known that totol is a coward- he won't fight me to return my squire back- and everyday dogslayer remains more of you will die or be hurt because of totols decsion.."
[17:47] Kabu says, "I see, so you've business with Tototl."
[17:47] Salvas takes out his blade holding it to the side.

[17:47] Salvas Voss says, "I just want dogslayer back.."
[17:47] Salvas Voss says, "Is that too much to ask."
[17:48] Kabu says, "You're barking up the wrong tree. But I'm no coward."
[17:48] Helion asks, "Dogslayer?"
[17:48] Salvas Voss says, "That's good- thats what I can expect from an actual gehhenan unlike totol.."
[17:48] Salvas Voss says, "Who fears me.."
[17:48] Kabu says, "Fear's for scavengers. "
[17:49] Salvas Voss says, "So what will it be will you deliver my message.. Or would you like to be the message."
[17:49] Kabu would begin to crackle a bit in response. He didn't expect to be stopped in a rather peaceful walk through his path, but if that was what Ixchel demanded of him then so be it.

[17:49] Salvas Voss says, "Then the hunt is on.."

[17:49] Helion says, "Don't be rash Ka...."
[17:50] Kabu says, "Stay back Helion."
[17:50] Kabu says, "If he wants to prey on cubs, then I'll show him he's surrounded by blooming lions./"
[17:54] " I am more then willing to test that- but my message remains when this is done.."

A violent wave of chaotic arcane rush would push through dirt and gravel and make its way to push the two back- salvas would get into a fighting stance and the battle would begein.. with who- though who would know he would target kabu if another decided to step in he would oblige that person with his blade as well.

[17:54] Helion knew better then to try and stop Ka when he had the wanderlust of the hunt on his brain. It seemed rather obvious that the two of them were not in a position to challenge this stranger. Nonetheless Ka would do what he was born to do and their wasn't a thing he could do to stop him.

He stepped off to the side

"Just don't do anything too stupid..."

HE said saying a quick prayer to Astra to protect this foolish panther

[17:58] The nagual's eyes would shine brightly in the Thalassian night. He would give his all here in his first ever battle outside of the sparring plains of Gehenna. Not claiming a citizenship there, this engagement would most certainly call him to arms against this man's kind.

The flash leopard knew a loss was coming but shining this brightly with such a vibrant voltage kept his courage from waning and his hand firmly on his staff.

He'd pump all of his training and blessing into heightening his lightning with a holy glow, aiming to at the very least put up some struggle before being turned into a message.

"I do not know you, but I'll etch you on the list of those I'll need to surpass.

Win or not, I'm going to show you the true spark of a follower of the lightning god's blessing..

Let's begin..."

His hair stood on end as he went forth, only his own inexperience holding his current back now.

[18:09] As kabu moved to attack with a quick as lighting attack - he was met with a solid punch in his stomach, The "Vampire" would let the young boy fall to the ground- resting his blade in his hand.


"I enjoy your fearless efforts.. and as a warrior I will respect your will- I won't bother you no more then this, but please do tell totol that his days are numbered without the return of the one named dogslayer."


...Salvas would turn to his companion hiding in the trees. "time to go.."

[18:11] Sugarboy says, "Looky who we got in our neck of the woods~"
[18:12] Outclassed, completely and utterly.

The Nagual attempted to utilize his blessing to at least get the dexterity advantage here--but the vampire was able to easily keep up with and surpass the speed that Ixchel's enhancements upon Kabu's frame.

No matter his prowess, nor his training.....

It wasn't enough.

No matter how hard he fought, the immortal Cainsman was that much better and moreso. Blood swirled in a miasma about him as he attempted to conduct his spark through it, but sheer will would keep his power from having any real affect at all.

-A singular punch-

"----I...how's this even possible?!" his thoughts would race in the brief instances of reprieve he had.

Crashing into the ground with some precise blows to his untrained guard the panther would heave some blood as he grunted in contention. Struggling to rise back up with a battered appearance, but he knew he had literally no chance in the place he was in now.

The message was sent, and playing courier now, with his battered frame as the letter he would need to go to Tototl and warn him that this fate befell any travelled here.

He wasn't bitter--and his pride wasn't much hurt but to experience and see a true battle with nothing held back made his heart pound in his chest. as he travelled back to Gehenna.

"So this is the mountain...."

[18:14] Helion watched as his friend was bested with a single blow to the gut. It was over in an instant as Helion and Kabu both knew there was no chance of winning.

"So as strong as Kabu is there is still that much of a difference...the world is a big place"

He said aloud from atop the landing. He lowered himself and went to see to Kabu
