  1. So, I went away yesterday by train to do some LSD tripping. I thought I'd write down a sort of report of it as I seem to have forgotten lots of fun details from my first trip in July already.
  2.
  3. I took 1½ tabs at around 7 pm, as did R. Two other friends did one tab each and the rest of them took mushrooms instead. After about half an hour, I started getting all giggly, and I couldn't stop smiling! This always happens to me on acid, lol. Very pleasant, apart from the fact that my cheeks started hurting. Haha. :D I was staring really intensely at a sofa cushion as I started seeing some patterns. Like Inca paintings dancing around.
  4.
  5. R said that there were waves coming from my mouth as I spoke, and she was amazingly amused by this. :D I laughed at a chair that looked to me like Al Bundy in his couch, relaxing and leaning backwards.
  6.
  7. I stood in the corridor and looked at two (actual) doors in front of me. Acid has a way of making everything two-dimensional (moments before this, I and R imagined that we were in two separate glass bowls and that we couldn't touch each other), so it seemed to me like there were two paintings in front of me that I could walk into. Very fairytale-ish :D
  8.
  9. I went into the left dorm room (we were in a student corridor) and sat on a chair. To my right were a table and a small kitchen, and to my left was a really nicely decorated little "living room" with a bed (lying directly on the floor with no legs) and a couch (the couch's fabric was patterned like the walls in the acid scene in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). The walls were a very warm shade of orange.
  10.
  11. I can't say exactly what happened next, but suddenly it seemed like I was no longer actually in the room. I couldn't tell if I was dreaming, if I was remembering something (i.e. that I was inside a memory), or if this was all actually happening! About ten seconds later I whooshed back to reality, though.
  12.
  13. I went and lay on the bed with R. It was her first time tripping, and she was going on and on about how wonderful all the colors were and that she couldn't believe that she hadn’t done this before. :D I spent a lot of time laughing and talking to her about the things we saw, and as we looked at each other our faces became distorted. She looked like a rabbit to me, and she repeatedly said that my face had "too much magenta in it". ;D
  14.
  15. The wall was awesome to look at. The warm orange brought out lovely patterns and thoughts and we laughed so much that I thought we'd never stop. After what seemed like three eternities of just rolling around and hugging the pillows, watching the floor turn into dancing bodies, we noticed a digital clock right beside the window. It was only 10 pm?! Impossible. We thought the watch must've stopped or something, but right as we said it it turned 10.01 pm. Ha!
  16.
  17. After this, we went into another friend's dorm room and sat on the floor. Here, we found Kinder Eggs. :D I was so amazed by the ripples in the chocolate that I didn't even notice how it was melting in my hand! We ate the chocolate and looked for a while at our little assembly project, totally and utterly confused. :D I tried to put the toy together, but I really couldn't (no surprise really, I usually can't put them together even when I'm totally sober). I put the toy aside and started watching the wall. Suddenly, it seemed like the colors were floating in a sort of stream along the wall, horizontally. It was so beautiful! I went forward and touched it and played with the colors with my fingers.
  18.
  19. We also found markers and started drawing; first on paper, then on our arms. I just kinda colored in the patterns as I saw them, and ended up with a really weird tower-ish thing. I'd post a picture, but my digicam battery loader seems to be broken. :/
  20.
  21. Another friend came in and started making music on his computer. The sounds became a bit too monotone for me, so I went back to the first room. It was now midnight. Only midnight? It seemed like time was floating by amazingly slow. The exact time on the digital clock was 00.06, and it seemed to me that the next minute was at least a HUNDRED years long! I sat staring at the clock to make sure that I hadn't accidentally got stuck in the minute of 00:06, but after a long long while it eventually turned 00.07. :P
  22.
  23. I lay back and watched the ceiling for a while. I was coming down gradually by now, but it was still fun to study the floor and the dancing paintings I saw. When I closed my eyes, I noticed that my imagination was totally crazy. I kept seeing caricatures of the people I was tripping with, which made me laugh a lot. R looked like a tall and skinny rabbit, and I kept seeing cartoon fish. Heh. :D
  24.
  25. After a while, though, I noticed that I was getting a headache. Having a headache on acid is like having a huge big cosmic headache. The colors flashing in front of my eyes didn't exactly ease my pain. Damn me and my being prone to having headaches. :( I'd probably just exhausted myself by laughing and rolling around on the floor too much, and I hadn't been drinking much water either. The headache experience got very intense and unpleasant after a while, but everyone was being really nice to me and fed me cookies and water. :) I went to sleep after a long while of pain (and cursing my migraine genes) and when I woke up the headache was gone. PHEW. I talked a bit with my friends and then we all went to sleep for the night. I had a lot of weird dreams, which isn't that strange. :P
  26.
  27. All in all, it was a very nice trip. Stronger than my last one, definitely. My lesson learned is that I should probably relax more, be sure to drink water and maybe even eat something while tripping, to keep possible headaches away. I'm just really glad that the headache didn't start as I was peaking, because that could have induced a really nasty episode for me.
  28.
  29. THE END!
