Everything started when Steve and Richard met in a club in Italy. Even back then Richard had a small illegal business with one of his Italian friends. Steve was from a rich family and Richard knew it that's why he was kinda keeping Steve out of the business for not getting him into any trouble. Although they were hanging around a lot with each other. The business was growing and growing, so Richard thought it was the perfect time to tell Steve what he was in and from where the money comes. At first, Richard was kinda scared of what reaction he could get from Steve because he was from a rich and educated family, although Steve agreed without any hesitation. Now Richard had a guy who he could trust and he knew it was the time to expand the business without being worried about anything.
Leading the business to another city.
Steve knew a guy in Milano who had a famous club who was also doing the same thing as they do, but he was way more profitable. So he told Richard about it. They arranged a meeting with him and slowly told him the business, and why they decided to do this meeting. After the meeting, they made a deal, and they were delivering the goods to him now and of course getting more money. After a period of time, they decided to offer him a place in their "group". And this is when Dino Bonnano showed up in the business of those two friends. The business was doing good, but the amount of the money they were receiving attracted the attention of everyone, they noticed that so they came out with the idea of opening a few casinos around the place. Even though the casinos were such a success Steve was not really comfortable. After a few months being passed the special forces of Italy busted the casinos, even though they couldn’t find anything they already were had doubts that something is wrong. Steve took this as an opportunity to thinking about moving out of the place. He told Richard about it and it seems like he liked the idea, they told Dino that they moving out and telling him to run the casinos still but keeping it legal.
Moving to Los Santos
Finally, they arrived at Los Santos Richard and Steve was about to make a new step in their carrier. Portgas picked them up from the airport, Steve knew him as he randomly met him in vacations when they were kids but they kept the relationship. They had money they were ready to buy a new place in Los Santos so they can get the business going even in another country. With the help of Portgas, they found a perfect place to open new casinos. At first, they came up with very good offers to attract people to come and gamble. From now on everything was going on as it was planned. Dino was running the business in Italy and the two friends in Los Santos. All they needed now was to continue with the drug business but they had no one in Los Santos to help them. They had to call Dino maybe he knew someone they can trust, he actually had his cousin doing the same thing in Los Santos so he made a meeting for them. They met up and basically told him what are they trying to do. After telling him the profit they are making at the moment he was more than down. Now they had Roy Gucci Cobra to their side the most known drug dealer in Los Santos. Now that both of the business was doing great Dino came with the idea of letting his brother run the casinos in Italy and move out with Steve and Richard to expand the business even more. After meeting more people they were deep in this business and now they had a lot of guys that they could trust. This was the best thing that happened to The Gotti Family
