Some people think that having people from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds living together in the same country makes the country develop faster. Do you agree?

People believe that countries will have a faster development if its populated by people from different nationalities and cultural diversity. I support such an opinion, because I feel the differences among people can often improve the community and area they live in. People from abroad can introduce different cultural customs previously unknown by the local people. Also, by accepting different people, we can accept different knowledge they bring with them, which results in development of the entire country industry.


When people migrate to another country, they bring their cultural legacy with them. That legacy is passed on to new generations, so the entire area is introduced to a new and different customs. These different cultures often blend together, so the result is a huge cultural diversity and harmony people live in. The country has benefits from this, because tourists are always looking places that have culturas diversities to visit. I have an impression that these communities are very friendly and have great hospitality. Because of this tourists from all over the world are attracted to visit them, resulting in higher incomes for the country itself. For example, in my home town there are over 10 different nationalities, and the town is always filled with tourists who want to explore each of those nations.


 Another great value that multi national communities have is the possibility of combining different knowledge and skills to improve the place they live in. People who were born in other countries can introduce some new techniques to local people, perhaps even more advanced ones than those used before. This is especially important for crafts like mining, shoe making or blacksmithing. I completely agree that people diversity can improve the community, but also the entire country.. A great example of this is arrival of miners from Germany to Serbia in 18th century. The German miners were much more experienced and skillful than the local ones, so the entire mining industry in Serbia was in expansion, resulting the entire country development.


People mostly agree when they say that cultural and national differences can improve and develop a country. I am completely convinced that is true, because there is many great possibilities for any area if its people work together. If they combine their knowledge and customs, they will create this great communitiy that will be open to new ideas and new people. All of this will create fast growth of the community and it will attract new people to join it and improve it even more.
