Afterlife RP

In some stories you hear of Demons fighting Angels, monsters defeated by hero's, evil being contained by good. But those... are stories.

Ever since we lost the Kaioshin and the Demonic Lord due to a mystery, that till this day have yet to be uncovered, we have been living in a time of chaos and confusion. The Cardinals, four mythical beings whom were once the Archangels of the Kaioshin, the flag bearers of good have been pushed back into the land of Heaven. Their army of Kaios, Demigods, and Onis have also been pushed back with the Cardinals, died for the Cardinals yet they stand strong. This was not a force of timid beings no... this was an army of white and gold armor, weapons coated in the blood of demons, beings who wish to unleash the Wrath of the Greater Good upon the evil that festers below.

The Checkpoint is riddled with evil, but not evil of origin... it was tainted and corrupted. Magic is a powerful and dangerous tool. Makyojin, magical beings of the Demon Realm have forced themselves into our world. They stole power from the Demons through magic and allowed it to spread like a disease. Kaios weak of heart fell from grace. They lost their mystical abilities and became what we call 'The Fallen.' The Archdemons War and Pestilence found this to be a great advantage... however Death and Famine were anything but intertained at essence being stolen from their race.

Death and Famine sought to wipe the afterlife of all Makayojin with the those whom stood by their side however War and Pestilence saw the Makyojin's existence far too valuable and stood with them. A compromise was made. Death and Famine have been given Hell, all the demons within, and banished all Makyojin from their lands. War and Pestilence have moved to the Checkpoint, the Makyojin being their pets now. The Fallen, Oni, and Demigods have decided who they wished to associate with, scattered across the realm. Collectively evil was strong, however the right of the Horsemen is something the Cardinal's are planning to take advantage of.

Somewhere out of time and space however, the mystery behind the Kaioshin and the Demon Lord was attempting to be uncovered.
