  1. [11:34] As the aftermath of the war set in, and news of those who had fallen finally reached Daius' ears, he found himself heading off to a place where he knew nobody would ever find him; The Library. People never used it, which made it the ideal place to hide away from everyone and digest what had happened in the previous weeks.
  2.
  3. In reality, it felt all the progress they had made before; after felling the opponents which they had and pushing Huangzhou and their armies back meant very little, as when Dawn pressed forwards; they met a crushing defeat. It seemed as if neither side could really make any progress in removing the other..
  4.
  5. Just defending their own land, so to speak.
  6.
  7. The issues currently going on, had cost many lives. Lives of people who Daius cared about; his mother and sister to begin with, were robbed away from him due to this war. A war which, despite having glory to it-- Was costing Obsidia it's most powerful warriors. For what?
  8.
  9. For Dawn? A place that he didn't even see as a home. It was just they needed to group together in order to deal with Huangzhou. Yet, they couldn't even deal with them together-- Gehenna was in the way.
  10.
  11. It was a difficult situation, one which Daius was not too fond of-- At all. The war was far too long, longer than Daius had even been walking on this land-- With no real decisive action being done.
  12.
  13. A predicament to say the least.
  14.
  15. To add to Daius' family losses, is the loss of his Grandfather; Neo Invidia. The man who helped him, whenever he needed him. Who truly cared about everyone around him-- Even the silent Daius. A good man, in Daius' eyes. The most valor he had seen from someone, ever.
  16.
  17. Daius aspired to reach such levels of valor, to show as much courage as his predecessor. Someday, perhaps.
  18. (Daius Invidia)
  19. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  20.
  21. [11:39] A familiar name to the Invidia, was given for the killer of his Grandfather-- The same man whom had killed his sister; Ren Shi.
  22.
  23. Daius was yet to meet the man, however it would seem that the Chosen of Caliburn was beyond even what he had assumed. Able to not only destroy his sister, but now his Grandfather; One of the strongest beings on all of Agartha. Someone who Daius viewed as a Titan in his own right.
  24.
  25. A kind hearted, Titan. But a Titan none the less. It gave Daius great pride to know, his Grandfather went out trying to avenge his sister. In battle, the ideal way to go out-- Like a warrior.
  26.
  27. Still, this meant that if this Ren Shi was capable of killing Neo; then Daius must become even more stronger than Neo, beyond even his Grandfather in order to stand a chance against this guy. Which meant there was a lot of work to do, the difference between Daius and his Grandfather was-- Daius was on a time limit. He wasn't going to stay young forever, so this meant he needed to begin working; harder than ever before.
  28.
  29. His next step towards Titanhood, was to increase his reserves to titanic levels; he needed his mana and stamina levels to beyond that of a normal human, to never fall under fatigue. That was, what he needed to attain.
  30.
  31. Attaining such a thing, was not an easy feat mind you.
  32. (Daius Invidia)
  33. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  34.
  35. [11:48] Daius did not know much about Mana at all, bar the essentials. He wasn't too well versed on it all, after all-- He was a brute as opposed to a scholar, so this meant off of his own back he would struggle to make an awful lot of headway in learning much about it all.
  36.
  37. Fortunately, the Invidia remembers a conversation he once had with his Grandfather, it was not anything special although what Neo told him, really stuck in his mind-- And his death, probably brought this memory to the front of Daius' mind. Perhaps him dying, was meant to happen-- To push Daius further, who knows.
  38.
  39. '...Your soul has limitless amounts of energy, which you can access... You are limited by how much you can use, by how much your mana circuits can take... Going overboard, can damage you... Be careful.'
  40.
  41. If what his Grandfather was saying is true, then this means that Daius already had everything he needed to attain what he wanted-- Limitless reserves, or at least a reserve pool deep enough that he wouldn't have to worry about ever being pushed hard enough to be left, with no fuel so to speak.
  42.
  43. The question now was, how does one strengthen their mana circuits so they can access more of their soul's limitless power?
  44. (Daius Invidia)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [11:52] It was a difficult question.
  48.
  49. After all, it was not like any normal muscle. If you wanted bigger biceps, you would simply take weights and begin doing bicep curls. This was a common theme with all muscles, if you did certain exercises-- you could strengthen that muscle. It was really that simple.
  50.
  51. However, something as intricate and.. Obscure as a Mana Circuit was far beyond difficult to train. It was hard to put a strain on you mana circuit, and not damage it permanently. Not only that, but reaching your limit wasn't something which Daius truly believed would ever enhance your mana circuits strength. No matter how many times you did it, in fact-- He thinks it would do more harm than good.
  52.
  53. What he needed to do was, put his circuits under more mana than they were used to; however doing so would be beyond difficult-- It was something which he had never done after all. How does one get more mana into their system than what they can access from their soul?
  54.
  55. It was yet another stumbling block hit by the soon-to-be-Titan.
  56. (Daius Invidia)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [11:53] Daius Invidia says, "Mhm, This is such a bother."
  60. [11:59] 'You’re an Invidia, your power has no bounds, but you are human and the body can only handle so much. Be careful how you use it, overexerting can damage you forever, be safe boy.'
  61.
  62. Words of his Grandfather, once again playing on his mind. Daius worked hard, his work towards his body never feeling damage; protecting himself. However, the fact was-- Overexerting himself could damage his body, more specifically his mana circuits forever.
  63.
  64. It was a dangerous game, that Daius was playing. He knew of potions, which could enhance the speed at which people draw the energy from the soul-- However, this did not increase the amount which they were using; it simply made them replenish themselves much quicker.
  65.
  66. So that was quite clearly, not the route.
  67.
  68. He now had his hypothesis though; he had to get his mana circuits used to more mana than they currently are used to; this way, his limits will be pushed further than what they are right now and then he will be able to draw more from the source of limitless energy; His soul.
  69.
  70. In truth, how he was going to do it was going to be the next step. Speaking to someone who was knowledgeable on Mana and perhaps, even a runescribe or alchemist. They may have some ways of introducing mana into his circuits.
  71. (Daius Invidia)
  72. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  73.
  74. [11:59] Daius Invidia says, "Hmh.. Tryin' to think of some runesmith..."
  75. [11:59] Daius Invidia says, "Or Alchemist-- I don't really know any, anymore..."
