Q: strimmer what are these fake ass categories
A: mode, difficulty, ending, character
I play on Normal because Easy doesn't change anything except more lives (that I don't need)
XBLA port is the fastest version due to fast cutscene skips

Q: Why did you die there?
A: Sometimes I will intentionally die to refill mana. It can be faster than sapping mana from enemies

Extended category explanation
- Mode: Original mode is the way the Saturn version works. Remix mode is an XBLA-only rebalance of the entire game, including adding a third attack button, changing the way magic works, every attack animation/damage, dash mechanics, etc. If I am playing Remix mode I will list it as such, if I don't specify then assume it is Original.
- Difficulty: Easy, Normal, Hard
- Ending: Because of the "choose your own adventure" nature of the game, there are different final bosses for each ending. The bosses are: Golden Silver, Earth Spirit, Sky Spirit, Valgar, and Super Zur. Each ending is a different category.
- Character: Nicole, Han, Randy, Ginjirou, and Serena(NG+). Each character has a unique moveset and necessitates different strategies - it's impossible to compare runs between different characters.
