[20:10:40] Guarding the tower was a dull, but important task. Anaxes prepared herself for another night of watch, keeping focused on the cavern entrance. She'd settled down for a dull night, but it was not to be.

As the first signs of enemy movement came, the Demon pulled out her spear, securing it in a firm grip.

"Soldiers, gather up. We're under attack."

Crimson lightning started flowing across her form as she prepared herself for battle. The Demon did her preparations swiftly, hopping down to face the opponents she'd found.

She remained otherwise silent, slowly moving in to engage.

[20:17:29] As Silky and other Coalition members arrived, she glared at one person in particular. The Archon, Anaxes, who had spotted both her and another- Caesar. She grabbed the trident from her back, holding onto it tightly as her water spirit manifested itself, followed by tendrils of occult water bursting from the back of her cloak.

"Demon! We will drown all of your misbegotten kind, do you hear me!?"

With that, she very angrily waved her trident around and blatantly declaring her intentions.

..Who knew what Caesar was going to do. He was just some nerd, after all.

[20:17:29] Thunderous claps initiated Caesar's movements, the rotating, crimson luminescence declaring fervent impetus over his part. His spear was rotated with proficiency, eliminating lesser enemies with magical blows as blood dominated the apex of his weapon. Until, the yellow gaze focused on Anaxes.

A powerful Archon. Someone impossible to fight alone. Nodding, the Chosen beckoned for a member of the Coalition to follow, guiding the path with more occultic polarized lightning, blessed with a powerful velocity.

"Siren." a voice broke taciturnity, excluding the winds howling to obstruct the sonorous expansion. The tones were serious, completely focused on the enemy, closing eyes for a moment before adding to the sentences.

"Please, be quiet about this."

The demon's flanks were suddenly connected to the Elsyrean, phantasmagoric lines forming a depraved, corrupting aura of pure darkness. However, diverging from the usual occultism, such influence shimmered, a beautiful glow. Avarice leveraged through the ambit, perhaps even penetrating Silky, near the man.

"But this is what we need to fight." a grin formed Caesar's expression, the ominous smile complemented by a faint luster escaping the merchant's irises. Adjusting his gravitational stance, he was prepared for the combat.

Seemed rather one-sided. The Elsyrean and Selkie pummeled the Archon of Aetherius with water and lightning alike, and it really didn't serve the Archon that the Selkie had a bit more immunity to the occult than other creatures.

But, as the fight came to a draw, the Selkie was beaten back by the hellstorm of the Demon, leaving them dazed while Caesar fought them alone..

Then he won.

Underneath her mask, there was an almost radiant smile that could practically be felt. She stumbled over with her trident, shouting- as more demons arrived. Far more Demons. More than she could fight herself, and likely more than she could fight with the aid of Caesar.

So, that was the time to fall back.

"Uplander! Fall back!"

[20:33:42] Caesar's illusory threats make up well with Silky's umbretarn assaults, complementing the water blows with his crimson lightning, enhanced by the darkened liquid. But... it felt so much more for the Elsyeran.

Fighting the Archon. Deep inside him, the light emanated yearned for more. It couldn't stop. Corruption guiding his heart, the soft whispers intensified his thirst for everything-- much more could be earned. And, specially, the white-haired one was tempted after stealing a bit of Anaxes' essence.

The scent of money, glory and fame yclepted. Thus, every piece of magic exploded with desire, the shocks coated with an insane amount of force. Pervading the ambit, the influence kept growing, more and more, seducing the common soldiers around.

BZZT!

Another clap consolidated the Archon's defeat, finally ceasing the combat. However, while on ground, allies of Aetherius decided to protect her. Such unfortunate detail couldn't calm the sinful volition corroding the spearman's insides.

But... nothing could be done.

As the power faded away, the hellstorm demon could feel the essence of resistance returning, leaving a feeling of complete voidness for the stealing grasp.

Delineating another smile, Caesar ran back to the watch tower.

Two opponents will always make for a tricky fight. Even a Demon of this caliber will have trouble alternating between a pair of strong magi, especially when they're already injured to begin with. Combined with the fact that the Demon was having her essence taken By some unknown magic, there was... very little to be done.

As much as she might've put on a decent showing, the Archon was outmatched and outplayed. A combination of hellish, crimson lightning, the same magic Anaxes utilized, and the Sirenian's supportive abilities sealed her defeat.

Timely intervention from Aetherian soldiers saved her, but this fight was yet another humiliating defeat. She remained almost silent, merely shouting out after the pair as they pulled back.

"These are your allies, Sirenian? I just love the hypocrisy."
