  2. Gang Banger
  3. Power Oriented — A power-oriented gang banger is focused on what's best for the gang. This character wants the gang to be the biggest and baddest in the city.
  4.  
  5. Money Oriented — This character gang bangs for the sole purpose of its monetary gain. This character is always after money, getting it any way they can.
  6.  
  7. Respect Oriented — This character gang bangs for the respect they gain through affiliating with the gang. Getting respect from their peers is their number one priority, whether it be from students in school, their gang-banging family members, or other gang members around the city.

  9. Drug Dealer — This character focuses on the sale of illegal narcotics. This character probably knows someone who they can get drugs from whole sale, and either distributes to smaller dealers or deals on the streets themselves. They probably join the gang for protection of their operation, or get their drugs through current gang members, which leads to them joining.

  11. Weapon Dealer — The name speaks for itself. You distribute weaponry amongst the members of your gang or with trusted associates outside of it. It's mandatory that you're familiar with the types and models of weapons you choose to distribute. Roleplaying this may include arranging some straw purchases, finding clients, modifying firearms and also arranging deals on your own accord. This is, without a doubt, one of the easiest ways to get roleplay outside of the faction you're part of since the demand for self-protection is always high in and around the community. Keep in mind it is not limited to just guns and it's not realistically easy or cheap to get your hands on weaponry such as AKs constantly.

  13. Property Theft — This character steals things. Whether that be cars, breaking into homes, or robbing others at gunpoint. You can recruit others to help you with your schemes, or do these missions solo. The items are probably sold online, or to others in the neighborhood.

  15. Tattoo Artist — This character knows how to do tattoos. This character could work in a shop, or work out of their home. They schedule appointments, find clients, etc. This could lead to you eventually running your own tattoo business in the future.

  17. Worker — This character has a legal job that makes their money. They probably work at one of the convenience stores in Glen park or Jefferson, and come kick it with the homies after work. If it's a store some gang members frequently visit, they can hook the gang members up and give them discounts.

  19. Tag Banger — You're a banger that likes to tag up walls with spraypaint, it's your thing. You take pride in embarrassing rival neighborhoods on the wall and marking your grounds with your gang related hit-ups. It's important to you for outsiders to know where they are and that rival gangs are not welcome.

  21. False Claimer — The person that wants to be from the gang so bad that he/she is willing to falsely claim a position within it. This person wants to join in on the gang because the lifestyle's appealing to them, although, there's a good chance that they wouldn't lift a finger when it comes to the gang's rivals. They're often seen excessively wearing gang colors and heard using gang terms to try and fit in.

  23. Protection — A person that only wants to join the gang because he/she wants to be protected for various reasons. Most of the time, this person is nothing by themselves and are considered a coward or pussy by many. They are often not willing to defend themselves or the hood but knows protection comes at a cost and are typically desperate enough to pay it.

  25. Crash Dummy — A send-off kid, usually reckless and wild. This is a person that you could send off to do anything and everything that you wanted, no matter how dangerous it can turn. It's evident that this person is fueled by adrenaline, and they like it so they do whatever they can to keep themselves riled up. Crash dummies are more than likely going to end up dead or prison at a young age and are one of those types of people you wouldn't wanna always hang with because of the danger level.

  27. Barber/Beautician — This character cuts hair/does hair to make a living. This character can work in a shop, work out of their home, or go to their client's homes to get their job done. This sort of RP requires some basic knowledge of hair styling in order be executed properly.

  29. Athlete — This is a character that plays sports. These sports can be an escape from the gang life, something that a character does on the side, or something that a character fully strives for. RP'ing an athlete can be enjoyable because of the different paths you can take with it; maybe you suck at your sport, maybe you're a star player. Get creative when roleplaying an athlete and it can lead to a lot of RP.

  31. Freeloader — This character has no true home and doesn't stay in one place for long. They may be actively looking for a job, got kicked out of their home, looking to party, and now look to crime in order to make their money.

  33. Musician — This character is an aspiring musician. Maybe they make beats and sell them online, maybe they rap and are trying to get their name out there. Roleplaying a musician can be very unique, and is something that is common amongst gang members in real life. Setting up shows, recording in the studio, passing out your mixtape, etc. are all possible roleplay events that can come with being a musician.

  35. OG — This character is usually an older character, and is a long-time member of the gang. They'd have plenty of stories to tell about their experiences. They're probably living a more reserved lifestyle after a life of gang-banging and crime.

  37. Father/Mother — This character has a child they care for. With this, they may be more conscious of their situation, maybe avoiding more dangerous situations due to the fact that they have a child. They may look to the gang for help raising the child, or join the gang for monetary gain.

  39. Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife/Husband — This character is in a relationship. Maybe a character is introduced to the gang because they're in a relationship with someone currently in the gang. They may have to resort to crime in order to help pay the bills with their significant other. Or both characters may be involved in criminal schemes together as a couple.

  41. Stoner — This character smokes all day, everyday. They're very nonchalant about a lot of things probably, and just want to know where the weed is at. Because of them being around weed a lot, they may sell a few bags here and there just so they can re-up and smoke some more weed.

  43. Hot Head — This character has a very quick temper. They're always ready to use violence on some of the simplest conflicts. This aggressive behavior would lead to a lot of fights, and possibly jail time. Whether it's their homies or the enemies, this character is quick to fight.

  45. Drug Addict — This character is addicted to hard drugs. They may be a functioning drug addict, still capable of getting their business handled and making money. They can also be a straight up addict that is only looking for their next fix, and any money they come across is going to more drugs.

  47. Booster — Similar to property theft, this character specializes in stealing clothes. They walk into various stores and steal shirts, jeans, socks, belts, shoes, etc. Maybe they work at a clothing store and steal whatever they can when the boss isn't looking. These characters sell their merchandise online and to others around the neighborhood.

  49. Car Enthusiast — This character is all about his/her car. They probably have a project car they've been working on for years, and whenever they get the chance to add something to it, they do it. They can talk about cars all day with you and probably like to race/ride in their souped up cars. We're roleplaying El Corona having a history with lowriders, so this character may have gotten their interest in cars from the history.

  51. All Talk — This character has a very loud mouth. This character is talking the talk, and may or may not be able to walk the walk. This character probably utilizes social media to the fullest, going on Instagram Live, posting pictures on Facebook, etc. They want to be seen and wanna talk their shit to any and everybody.

  53. Scammer — This character uses online scams in order to make their money. You may have seen those "turn $40 into $400" posts on social media. That's this type of character, trying to catch those vulnerable enough to fall for their scams. They're interested in getting credit card information, and buying what they need with the stolen credit cards.

  55. Pimp — This character uses women to get their money. The women sell their bodies and bring the money back to the pimp. You may or may not have multiple women doing this, maybe you're tricking one girl in to selling her body. Using violence, or just verbal persuasion, a pimp can make a woman do what he wants her to do and make him money.

  57. Hoe — This character may or may not be submissive to a pimp/boyfriend. Some women who sell their bodies do it solely by choice, and do what they have to do to get the bills paid. Maybe they use to strip and later resorted to selling their bodies, or vice versa. If they do have a pimp, this character sells her body and brings money back to the pimp.

  59. Neighborhood Hoe — Differentiating from a hoe, a neighborhood hoe doesn't sell her body. This character is simply promiscuous, and enjoys having sex. This character may be extremely manipulative, taking advantage of free dates and vulnerable men who are willing to pay her bills, buy her groceries, etc.

  61. Ladies' Man — This character's primary focus is women. He's doing any and everything to impress women, whether that be buying the newest clothes or riding in the coolest car. They're trying to holler at any female that walks by, or on social media posting selfies and liking every girl's picture.

  63. Sneakerhead/Hypebeast — This character is into fashion heavy. They want the newest Jordans that came out, and are willing to do anything to get them. This character is also probably heavy on social media, trying to flex on their peers with the newest clothes and shoes.

  65. Tattoo Enthusiast — This character loves tattoos. They probably have a good amount already, and probably aspire to be tatted from head to toe. The tattoos represent something deeper than just ink on their skin, each tattoo has a story and this character is willing to express it. They have a real love for art and it may lead them to becoming tattoo artists themselves.

  67. Instigator/Flamer — This character is always cracking jokes, and making situations larger than they what they really are. They're usually not involved in the conflict, and play the sideline just commenting in order to raise tension. This character probably always has a video of the neighborhood fights, but never truly involved in any of them.

  69. Food Stamp/Bootleg Seller — This character sells food stamps/bootleg merchandise in order to make their money. They might burn CD's and DVD's of recent movies and sell them on the block. Food stamps are government issued and not everyone is capable of receiving them. Selling the food stamp cards can be easy money since one receives them for free, and selling them month-to-month may prove to be a easy come up for this character.

  71. Loaner - This type of character has a bunch of money they don't use, they give it out to people they know, and tax them once it's time to give back, they give people deadlines and usually hang out with people that will back them up if anything goes down.

  73. Feel free to mix and match these character traits/roles. Get creative and try to RP something you haven't done before. Do a little research. Make an alternate character that's based on one of these traits/roles. These things make role playing a community much more enjoyable and adds diversity to the faction
