- I used software like GSA Search Engine Ranker to create thousands upon thousands of spammy links to a YouTube video, which would in turn rank it on Google.
- The theory was that YouTube was a big site and owned by Google, so the algorithm didn't really care.

- To answer your question, most likely not. Google has come a long way in stopping mass spam since those days. But perhaps it’s worth a try, not really sure.
