  1. _________________________Chapter 1_________________________
  2. One fateful day, Dipper was on an adventure, as he usually was. He was trying to solve some of the mysteries in his book, but he couldn’t find anything.
  3. He had been wandering for hours through the forest, endlessly looking for some sign or clue, relating to the information found in his book. There was some seriously creepy shit in that book, and he wanted to put it to rest. He kept meandering through the forest until he came across a train. He heard the screams and yelling of many people. He also heard the shouting of some sort of men, and those shouts, when they happened, drowned out the screaming and yelling. Dipper thought that this would be a sign of sorts, so he crawled his way around the train, until he got to the other side. He saw a train station far off in the distance, because he had to walk all the way around a train
  4. Dipper began running down to this train station. As he got closer, he could make out some of the screaming. Like people calling for help, or freedom. Why would this be? Was it just some kind of paranormal activity linked to the depictions in his book? He ran more. When he got significantly closer, he heard the bark of an officer, telling him to “Halt!” Dipper froze, for he feared that he would be killed on the spot if he didn’t. He stuffed his book in his hat, for he feared whoever halted him would seize the book and that he would never be able to solve the mysteries found in there. He would never let that happen. As he looked up, he realized that he had found a terrible thing. A Jewish roundup. And the people who had halted him were Nazi officers.
  5. Dipper had heard about the Nazis. They had been rounding up Jewish people from all over Gravity Falls, and shipping them off to far off Concentration Camps. Dipper feared that this was the fate he would come to. The Nazis would take him away to a concentration camp and he would be executed there. When the Nazi officers came up to him, one of them asked him what reason he was there for. Dipper said that he was just adventuring, and solving mysteries. The Nazis further questioned him, and came to the question of where he was from. Dipper told them that he was from around the area. Dipper was about to go on about what his whereabouts, when one of the Nazis stopped him mid sentence and concluded that Dipper was a Jew. After all, all the Jews that they had been rounding up were from the area, and they couldn’t leave one behind for fear of betraying the Fuhrer’s trust.
  6. The other Nazi officer seized Dipper and escorted him down to the train station. The officer escorting him said that there must not be any resistance or people trying to free the Jews, and he said to Dipper that he would not have been let off regardless of his background. Dipper immediately recognized his impending doom was upon him. No more adventuring. No more mystery solving. No more Mystery Shack, no more Grunkle Stan, No more Gravity Falls.
  7. When they got to the station, Dipper was set off to the side of the crowds, and the officers who escorted him went through the crowds. When they came back, they came with another Nazi who looked very powerful in comparison to the escorters. “Hans, Peter, you can return to boarding duties.” the Third Nazi said. “We don’t want any Jews getting away, or even trying. Not that they could get away if they tried.” Dipper trembled before this Nazi. He feared that he would execute him on the spot and leave him for dead. When the Nazi spoke, Dipper felt a surge of hope, for some reason.
  8. “I am Oberkommando Walter. And I take it that your name is Dipper” the Nazi said. “Yeah, that’s me.” Dipper replied. He did not want to disappoint the Oberkommando for fear of losing his life. “I hope you realize what you have done is a crime against the Third Reich, Dipper” Walter said. “We cannot let you try to let these Jews into the world, and intoxicate our oh-so-pure population with Jewish poison.” Dipper knew from this point forward that the Nazis were a force to be reckoned with. He was not going to get away without a little bit of time, and just as much work. He was going to be spending a little bit of time in a Concentration Camp.
  9. “We are going to take you away to work for the Fuhrer. We are going to take you to Auschwitz, the biggest work camp in all of the Reich.” Walter continued. “We need to teach you some discipline and not to fuck with us. You fuck with the Jews, you fuck with the Reich. You fuck with the Reich, and you most certainly fuck with Mein Fuhrer.” Dipper knew who the “Mein Fuhrer” was. It was Adolf Hitler, the head of the Third Reich of Germany. Somehow, they had managed to get to Gravity Falls, Oregon, and start rounding up the Jewish population to ‘literally’ solve the ‘hypothetical’ Jewish Question. They were bringing the worldwide purge that was the Holocaust to Gravity Falls. He knew that, soon enough, the Mystery Shack would be found, and if the Nazis are as smart as they seem, Dipper concluded that they would find a way to rule the world. He could not let this happen. He first wanted to save his family and defend the Mystery Shack, but he also felt a sympathy for the Jews and wanted to get back at the Nazis for their war crimes. He was going to get revenge on behalf of the Jews.
  10. “Bitch!” Walter barked. “You haven’t been listening to me! I was going to give you a chance to go back to where you came from, but you were zoning out and ignoring me! Now I KNOW it is off to Auschwitz with you!” In all of Dipper’s pondering, he missed his chance to get off free and now was going to be sent off to Auschwitz, the biggest and most successful Concentration Camp in all of the Holocaust. “Officers! Get over here! This Jew is priority. Get him on the train.” Walter commanded. Dipper was thrown onto the train, and before he knew it, the train doors closed, and he was being carted away to Auschwitz, which he could only assume was very far away from the Mystery Shack. Soon enough, Dipper fell asleep.
  11. Dipper was jerked awake by the stopping of the train. Dipper assumed that they had reached Auschwitz by this point, so he climbed on top of all the passengers that had gone along with him, and peered out one of the holes on the top of the cart. He was right. They were there.
  12. When the train doors came open, and many Jews came pouring out, Dipper went out. He did not want to be stuck in that hot, stinky cart any longer. He could not be out for more that five seconds before Oberkommando Walter noticed. “Dipper! Halt!” Walter yelled. Dipper went out of the crowd in the direction of Walter’s voice, and as soon as he was in plain sight, he halted. “You damned Jew! You never listen!” Dipper heard Walter say. He must’ve gone in the wrong direction. His luck was certainly off a little bit, to say the least. When Walter caught up, he confronted Dipper. “You filthy rat. I’m glad we shipped you off here. You deserve to be here. Whatever your fate should be, I’ll be happy either way, as you’ll be suffering, no matter what.” Walter said. Dipper was scared. But as soon as Walter had confronted him and yelled at him, he was shoved back into the crowds, and went with all the men to their area.
  13. All the Jews, and by extension Dipper, were sorted into Occupations. These occupations were either voluntary or by choice of the Nazis. One of the Nazis who initially escorted Dipper to the train station back in Gravity Falls must’ve informed the Oberkommando about Dipper’s reason for being out, because he was one of the few detectives selected. Along with dipper were a man and a woman, who didn’t seemingly didn’t know each other, as they weren’t really talking that much. Dipper confronted the guy, and his name turned out to be Nick. He was apparently big into solving mysteries like Dipper was, so they hit it off well. The same could not be said for the woman, whose name was Mary. She was an assistant to a detective, so she claimed to know what she was doing and took it seriously as anybody should take mystery solving. She did not appreciate Dipper’s playfulness toward mysteries.
  14. After each Occupation was funnelled into Auschwitz, the detectives were last. Oberkommando Walter came up and declared to them that they would be the next ‘Auschwitz Police’. They would be told to keep good track of the workers and make sure that they were in line. They were also told that they would get rewards and payments comparable to SS officers, on the condition that they would be under the strongest surveillance in all of the camp. Dipper knew by this point that an escape plan would be a hell of a lot harder than he initially conceived.
  15. Oberkommando Walter guided them into the camp, and threw them into the Detective’s office. This was essentially their place of refuge, where they could talk and discuss things in the camp, daily life and thoughts, and for Dipper, an escape plan. Dipper began discussing his idea for an escape plan, when Nick told him that it would be harder than he could even imagine imagining. Mary calle dhim a dumbass because had he not run up to the station, then he wouldn’t need to escape from Auschwitz. Dipper ignored Mary’s remark, as he saw it as unintelligent.
  16. Later, an SS officer came in and handed the three misfits their uniforms. As Dipper got his, he noticed that there was a small slip in a pocket on the inside of his new Nazi coat. He didn’t show any signs of having seen anything until the SS officer left the building. As soon as the officer had left, Dipper quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out the slip. HE unfolded it and it read the following.
  17.
  18. To whomever this should concern, I theorize that there is a way to escape this brutal place. If you should get this, then consider yourself Captain of this great escape. The south gate near the gas chambers is almost always left unchecked, and opens to a road that leads into the rest of Poland. Take your newfound posse through this gate with as many other Jews as you can sneak, and bring yourself to freedom. I assure you, this will mean a better life for yourself.
  19.
  20. A solid sounding escape plan? Dipper as captain? Gas chambers? An area left unchecked? All of this sounded absurd yet realistic to Dipper. By this point, Nick had taken noticed and had sneakily read the note over Dipper’s shoulder. Nick had discussed the contents of the note with Mary and Dipper and they formulated a way to disguise ‘patrolling the south gate’ as a way to get the hell out of this place. They had not long to keep their minds on this subject as they heard an officer knock on the door. Dipper slipped the note back into his inner pocket where he found it, and welcomed the officer into the Detective’s office.
  21. It was Oberkommando Walter that had come in. He told the group that they were to go on a recruiting mission, as the size of the current group of detectives was far too small for it to be effective, according to Walter. Dipper knew this was shit, as if Nick, Mary and himself put their heads together, they could escape. Walter then proceeded to tell them that they had most control over what they did. They could recruit who they wanted, teach what they wanted, do what they wanted, and most importantly, kill who they wanted. They were then told that, if they wanted to do something to further their importance, that they would have to ask Walter himself first. If they found something suspicious, answer to him and nobody else. Also, they were told that they had to go out and recruit 7 men (or qualified women) before sunset, or they would be ‘dispatched’. The three of them knew as good as Walter did that ‘dispatched’ meant something more along the lines of ‘executed’. None of them said anything or had a rebuttal to Walter, so when he left, Nick hauled ass out the back to get new detectives recruited, Mary began hastily putting together a shitty ‘curriculum’ to teach new recruits, and Dipper went the opposite way Nick did and found 5 people. Dipper cared less for their names as he did for getting them to Walter for inspection, at least, he suspected that he would need to. When he got them to Walter, the Oberkommando congratulated Dipper on following his common sense and answering to him first before proceeding. Walter also said that these particular picks would be the perfect ones for the job. When Dipper was asked about the remaining two that they would need before the day’s end, he said that Nick was out on his own finding more recruits. Walter acknowledged this as nothing less than ‘smart’, and Dipper booked it back to the Detective’s office.
  22. When they arrived at the Detective’s office, Mary immediately ushered the recruits into the back of the room, and she asked Dipper to come to her desk. Dipper asked what was going on, and Mary showed him the whole hierarchy that she had planned out for the Detective group they had. Nick, Dipper, and herself were at the top as the ‘Captains’ of the office, the Oberdetekts right underneath them would be the highest up detectives second to the head, there would be four of them, and they would ascend to replace the heads as they were (inevitably) plucked away from life. Underneath the Oberdetekts were the Officers, who were responsible for developing a sort of intelligence inside the Detective’s Office. The Officers would also ascend to replace the Oberdetekts any time they ascended or were plucked off. Dipper was amazed by how quickly Mary put together this sophisticated system, and also by the amount of times she said ‘plucked’. Who would use the same word multiple times in such close proximity?
  23. This was the least of their worries however, as soon after they were done discussing the curriculum and hierarchy, Nick came back in with a whopping number of recruits. 17, as Dipper counted. This was quite impressive, and Nick said he didn’t want to go anywhere close to risking their lives in having the Detective’s office operational. Mary commended this, and had all the recruits come to the center of the room and listen in on her teachings for the Detective’s Office. While she was going on about the recruit’s new job to them, Dipper and Nick went into the back of the room and began talking. Nick was excited for what Dipper had to say on behalf of the escape plan, but he stressed the idea that now was likely not the time for an escape to be executed. Surely, they couldn’t just arrive and try to get as close to the south gate as they could, as the Nazis were likely aware of the gate’s status and kept an eye on it at least from time to time. Dipper agreed wholly. He believed that the Nazis probably knew about the gate, but with the proper time, execution, and manipulation of the system, they could rig an escape and get out relatively unharmed. Nick liked the idea, but said that they needed to leave in untouched for a while and just in words, but not in writing, as if they wrote it down and the Nazis found it, the entire office would be burnt to the ground and they would surely be killed for it. For the time being, Dipper came up with the compromise of simply building an impressive intel for the Nazis to see. He said that 10 or so books would do. Nick was shocked at this idea, saying that it must take ages just to write one book, but Dipper responded by saying that with all the shit that goes down here, filling up a book could be done with ease. There was also no standard size for books.
  24. When the assembly, as Mary referred to it, was disbanded for the night, the recruits went into the living quarters, bearing their newly provided Detective Uniforms. Mary, Nick, and Dipper all met up and discussed Dipper’s escape plans. Mary saw it as quite feasible, and also agreed with Nick that it shouldn’t be done at the current moment. They proceeded with the plan to write a library of intelligence for the Detective’s Office, starting with just 10 books, but with each book being a different subject. IF they did this in a day or two’s time, they could present to Oberkommando Walter and impress him, and earn more status. By this point, for the first time for Mary, Nick, and Dipper, a storm of screaming from the south same. Screams, shrieks, then silence. Noise would flare up for a minute, and quiet down again. This repeated several times for an hour, then ended for the day. Dipper could only imagine that this noise was the result of what would be the daily ‘Gas Chamber Runs’ as he dubbed it. Most of the recruits noticed the surprise of their Captains, and some of them even noted out loud that their new captains must be newcomers to Auschwitz. The captains knew now that their recruits were no stranger to the noises and anomalies of Auschwitz, and as soon as the trio agreed on this, Mary told the new recruits to get writing about as much as they could piece together through memory. As much as they could before their hands hurt. By this time, the sun had set, and Walter had come in. When he saw the massive number of recruits, he was blown away by Dipper and Nick’s performance. The two credited Mary with coming up with the idea of developing a library of intelligence, which was what they said the recruits were working on at the moment. Walter was skeptical about eh library idea, but his amazement much outweighed his skepticism, and he left the newfound detectives to their own devices. About an hour after Walter had left, Mary let all the recruits return to their living quarters and let themselves relax. She also announced that there would be 4 Oberdetekts would be chosen, and the rest would be detectives. Also announced was the fact that the detectives would be assigned subjects to pursue research in within the boundaries of the camp. After this announcement, the day was as good as done. Now it was the trio’s turn to relax.
