- [BATTLE] The 2041 Arab-Israeli War: Inevitable means I N E V I T A B L E
- The failure of Israel to maintain its military superiority was followed by a failure to mount an effective defense. This was followed by a failure of the UNSC to reach a conclusion that would have ended the war prematurely. Naturally, each of these stages was punctuated by successes from the United Kingdom of Arabia, which, having now reached a point of insurmountable supremacy in the primary combat theaters, was comfortable in completing the occupation and dismantlement of the Israeli state.
- As expected, colossal Israeli numbers provided a certain advantage, but at this stage lack of supplies, the UKA's military and positional superiority, and the failure of Israeli allies to affect the outcome of the war in any way meant that this would have little bearing on the next stages of the war. Advances through the Negev took place swiftly, with Beersheba falling before Israeli reinforcements could arrive and fortify themselves, and the front line comfortably stabilized. The siege of Beersheba was a lengthy affair, but experience in the West Bank and Northern Israel proved paramount in allowing UKA soldiers to swiftly capture key portions of the city, aided by combat exoskeletons.
- In Jerusalem, a similar outcome took place. Of note was an attempt by the city's mayor to detonate the gas pipelines of all of Jerusalem, though before his plan could be executed he was arrested by Israeli soldiers during the final retreat from the city. It has been more or less recognized that this was to the mutual benefit of both sides, and largely shelved as no harm came to Jerusalem as a result of Mayor Jeff Goldblum's machinations.
- The one place where Israel excelled was in the defense of the coastal northern regions of the country, where the military remained well-supplied from the industrial and economic hub of Tel Aviv. Much of the Galilee was captured, but Israel was not entirely pushed to see as the UKA had initially planned.
- Throughout this concluding offensive, further atrocities were committed by both liberated Palestinians and UKA soldiers. Many UKA soldiers have been imprisoned or tried for their crimes, including an especially notable case involving a high profile theater commander convicted of rape. In Jerusalem, many Jewish artifacts have been destroyed or looted. Israelis have withdrawn in large numbers from occupied areas, and corporations have begun relocating to tax havens and other countries, where they remain connected with the political core of the Jewish state. Many Israelis have declared that the conditions created by UKA soldiers have forced this movement, and are tantamount to ethnic cleansing.
- As the final stages of the offensive proceeded and UKA soldiers settled into the occupation, the realities of the situation began to set in, both regionally and globally. Millions of Israelis have begun leaving the country, the vast majority destined for countries in the Asian Security Organization, including the country's leadership, who seem to have vanished into Eurasia. Occupied Israel and Palestine have been destroyed by constant bombing and warfare, as well as retreating companies pulling back their assets, now representing a substantial deficit on the UKA's budget.
- Egypt's final missile strikes and bombing runs were completed by loyal soldiers, but the regime's failure to respond to protests and riots regarding authoritarianism have reached a fever pitch. Soldiers in the Negev have retreated, with the UKA taking their positions, and protests across the country have swelled. The token spending on water technologies have yet to come to fruition, and some view it as an attempt to placate a legitimate social movement. Protests have grown, and large portions of the military have refused to move on the protesters. It is likely that a coup or regime change is on the horizon unless Egypt begins to discard its authoritarian trappings and forced Nasserist outlooks to the detriment of its people.
- The ending stages of the war have brought with them interesting political phenomena. In North America, protests have largely died down in the Northern Union, due to a perceived true attempt to respond to the concerns leveled by Jewish citizens. AIPAC has largely collapsed after scandals in the United States, and protests in the United States have dissolved. Splinter organizations continue to exist across Pacific North America, where they will advocate for Jewish refugees in ASO countries. In Europe, the EF's public vetoing of the NU peace proposal has turned out massive protests across the country, and many have decried the country for failing to deal with one of the worst international disasters of the 21st century. In the Southern Federation, those with premillennial beliefs have dropped support of extant political parties, as the country failed entirely to respond to the Middle Eastern war, focusing on an expensive and purposeless (in their view) conflict on the continent, which has only led to more trouble.
- Socially speaking, antisemitism has achieved a mainstream position in many Western societies. Israel's tilt towards Russia over traditional allies, endless political conditioning in favor of Arab countries over Israel, eventual non-involvement in the war, the scandals surrounding AIPAC, a perception that Jewish American protesters were exploiting the situation in the Midwest to increase chaos, and the end of support for the Jewish state in any way by countries like Angland have all at last finalized a long-coming social shift. While Islamophobia is still present, it has declined over the past several decades, and though it is likely more prominent than antisemitism, both within Western Europe and Atlantic America, antisemitism is a potent social force. It remains deeply embedded in many communities, including the large Muslim population centers in the occupied Midwest, and in many parts of Western political culture, where Jewish citizens are viewed as seditious, and Arab powers as more valuable and stalwart allies.
- Within the ASO, the opposite has occurred, with social progressivism growing in response to the conflict and the acceptance of Israeli refugees. As a deeply multicultural organization, this has always been a likely side effect of so much diplomatic engagement, though it comes as a surprise that some countries in ASO may maintain a moral superiority over the West in this situation.
