  3. I'm in my mid-twenties. I was born in an Eastern Muslim country, moved to Europe a while ago. Although I'm not very practicing, I don't drink or go to clubs. The values and cultural gap is huge! In my country or till my generation, asking out a woman is uncommon. You can imagine talking sexually or getting physical would be alien. We are taught to respect women at all times and premarital sex is considered bad. You can have friends but that's the extent of it. Nothing physical or sexual! So I never developed any of those skills.

  5. Now, If I see a girl at a party, public place, street, bar etc. Even if I think she's pretty, the first thing comes to my mind is shes minding her own business I should do the same. Secondly, If I'm talking somehow at a gathering party or alone and find that person interesting or want to know more etc. I'm a talkative person, can talk about anything from any serious topic, small talk, stories, jokes but anything personal or sexual. Not that I'm afraid to but I don't know how to and what's the right way. Maybe feel a bit awkward as well.

  7. Having said that, Have been on some dates, learning experience I'd say. I think if you don't express yourself or talk something personal/sexual from the start they take you as a friend or never reply afterward.

  9. Does physical appearance matter a lot? I'm 170cm and 58kg(not weak but skinny, as i do sports) Almost every girl is taller and healthier than me :D I know I should hit the gym.

  11. I want to learn and improve myself and eventually find a partner. I'm open to suggestions, advice and positive criticism.

  13. P.S. Nothing is absolute, yes there are exceptions to what I wrote about the culture, but that's the majority view. If you disagree or have questions, Fine. I can answer a few but don't want this thread to go in that direction.
