| ʙᴀᴄᴋɢʀᴏᴜɴᴅ: hyunji was born in melbourne but shifted to japan when she was around the age of 5. she was born to a korean australian father and a japanese mother. she lives with her father and her older brother, bae hyunjin. her mother passed away due to cancer when she was only 11. ever since then, she has been independent and she would tell her brother literally everything going on in her life. she trusts and loves her brother more anything in the world. she very close to her brother and has a very fatherly figure when it comes to hyunji. he is also very protective. she isn't very close to her dad though. she would sneak out after school with her brother as her father became a drug addict and an alcoholic just a few years after her mom died. she was used not getting attention and love, except from her brother but as he was busy these days with university, she didn't receive all the love she needed.

+ clumsiness & bad luck ' she is one of the most clumsiest person you can ever come across. she has a lot of bruises and cuts on her legs, hands and feet as she trips over literal air. she is often very oblivious and dazes of a lot. she is also quite forgetful, for instance, she would talk on the phone to someone and then would ask them whether they saw her phone. is carries bad luck with her everywhere she goes. its like a shadow that follows her everywhere. even though people think of her as a poor cooperator while she on the hand, is very confident and tries not to let her bad luck interfere with anything she does. some people love her confidence level while some think she is an "attention seeker". she is willing to try everything even if she ends up losing or face down in a dustbin.

+ loyal ' In particularly to people she's close to like her close friends. She dislikes the feeling of being backstabbed in the back or talked badly behind of her so she doesn't become a disloyal person and spills the secrets of those she used to be close to, to others. Unless it's literally a life and death situation, she's loyal till the end, even with a life and death situation, her best motto is to lie till the end with whatever secrets she can come up on her own. She keeps promises and secrets even if they've happened to be in an argument because she wants to leave something or someone with a clean slate.

+ friendly & sweet ' she is very friendly and has a warm aura. people judge her by saying things like "annoying" and "talkative" but that's just who she is. she loves making friends and can talk for hours and hours about literally anything. she is very outgoing and a huge extrovert. she doesn't have any enemies. she is very lovable although some jerks say otherwise. she is very sweet and would never even think of hurting a soul. she is very affectionate yet people around her doesn't like when she hugs them or even has an appropriate amount of skinship with them. she is very considerate and cares about her friends more than herself. she is very generous as well, for instance, if she saw a kid lost she would make sure to take care of that child until the parents appear. she treats everyone the same and is not impartial at all.

+ silly & childish ' among her friends, she would be the dorky and funny one. she really loves children and babysits some to earn money and to spend time with kids. is she very simple looking but is an actual meme at heart and she isn't afraid to show it. she uses sarcasm a lot. she cracks random jokes at the wrong time but she is the only one who laughs. she talks a lot and and can go on for hours. if she saw someone sitting alone next to her in a metro or anywhere she would talk to that person about random stuff like "did you know that my favorite color is green" and stuff like that. she playing games like hide and seek, rock paper scissors or board games. no matter how old she ever becomes she will always be a child at heart. if she were to sit next to a baby in a metro she would pull silly faces at the child just to make her smile. she is that type of a person.

+ good listener ' even though hyunji's all silly and the never serious type, she can be a very good advice giver and a very good listener as well. she would listen to the person speaking very carefully and give advice accordingly. she is very patient and calm when it comes to giving advice to someone. she would be a sweetheart and not interrupt the person speaking. honestly everyone who knows her, comes to her for advice.

+ trust issues ' despite her attentive and caring sides, hyunji has serious trust issues. while she might be perceived as calm she can be quite whimsical and she gets bored quickly. that's why she's always liked learning, she always wanted to understand everything. so at first glance she may seem quite cold but once you break through her icy shell, she's just like any other friend you have. the ones you goof around with, have playful fights and real ones, and the ones you have serious conversations with. she'll be loyal once she trusts that you'll be, cause she's very stubborn i'll tell ya.
