  8. I'm contacting due to the ongoing difficulties we've been having with Facebook. The algorithm issue has massively affected the reach on newly posted videos. For someone like Piques with over 7 million followers, the reach should be in the 10+ million not under a million at times.

Additionally the Facebook Live was supposed to be a platform that will get pushed by Facebook reach a higher audience however from the first few videos when Piques had an average of 45+k viewers live, the most recent video had an average of about 5k viewers, which doesn't even make sense with over 7.2 million followers.

  12. This experience has made the process of creating for Facebook difficult and frustrating, a notion we've been hearing about from many other major Facebook influencers.

  36. Thanks for the email. As I've said to Piques we are going to do another dive into his data to see if there is anything affecting his reach, but previously there has not been. He still gets incredible reach with the occasional giant spike. There is no "should be" in terms of reach. It is a constantly evolving thing that depends on a million factors including the content, the time of day, the competition on the platform at that time, etc. etc. That being said, as he also should know he is a very important partner to us and we take these concerns seriously. We should have an update by end of week.

We looked into your Insights from January and it shows that you only posted 7x in Jan, 4x in Feb, etc. I’m sure you’ve posted more, but if you are deleting or hiding posts we cannot see the insights. Therefore we can’t do a deep dive into your insights without going deeper on our end which is going to take a bit more time. That being said, we are looking inot this but there is evidence that hiding/deleting posts could be telling Newsfeed algorithm something negative and decreasing his reach.

  55. 2. We also noticed you are spending less money on boosting posts, but as a result your reach could be down therefore skewing your perception of organic reach.

  57. 3. You are posting Diply links again. While looking into your page we noticed one up and I went back to screenshot it and it was removed. I cannot emphasize enough how this will negatively affect your reach.

  105. Hope you had a great week and thank you for looking into this, I really appreciate it. I have few answers for your points below.

  107. I posted 7x in January which is almost twice a week which is twice as many videos than people post on YouTube. The frequency I post should not affect how many of MY FANS see what I post (Hence deleted post of 2.5 million reached in 8 hours attached.) I do not hide or delete any posts I create and if I did, I deleted maybe one post and it was obviously because of the reach issue and that was last week.

  109. I have spent less money on boosting of my videos as I shouldn't have to boost anything at 7.3 million followers. Having said that, I still put $50-100 per video. If Facebook is looking for me to spend money for my audience to see my posts... That's a bunch of BS. If I put in $100... 25,000 people is my reach on paid advertising. I'm not going to put in thousands of dollars per post that would be crazy and I would be broke.

  111. I started posting Diply links two days ago due to the fact my reach has been drastically low for months now even when I stopped with their links so it's obviously not them. Facebook is also not helping me make money from monetization as they have been cutting my reach and they are against posting of ads. So I need some form of steady income to support myself.

  115. I started to live stream under the assumption that Facebook was going to help me by promoting the live feeds on top of users feeds, not cutting the reach and making my page more active. It has been the total opposite, I started with 45K live viewers at once and almost a million views on my live feed. Now it's anywhere between 5K and 14K live viewers and 250-400K total views. So out of 7.3 million people, 14K people MAX watch me live? That is a horrible numbe and not worth me even doing especially the fact that it covers my whole page and can't even hide my live feeds.

  117. Most people don't even post on Facebook anymore as the algorithm has completely took away their confidence to post anything as it does to me as well. Some of these videos take 8-12 hours from beginning to end to make so you can understand why myself and many others are very disappointed right now.

  119. I will look forward to hearing back from your findings in a week and a half or so to see what the underlying problem is. My conclusion is that it's Facebooks algorithm and not anything I have done.

  130. Piques – I was not telling you to boost. I’ve always told you from day one that is not what I work on nor do I ever talk about that in the plan when speaking to partners. It was an observation on our end that perhaps you’ve noticed your reach down because you are not boosting. Will look into the rest and obviously want this to be resolved to your satisfaction ASAP.
